Chapter 3
Chapter 3: Community Open
I transferred it onto the goblin and prepared for the next wave with 4 Lowest-Grade Combatants.
Rumbleeeeee—
"2?"
This time, a whopping 2 gates had opened.
And what appeared was a whopping 10 goblins.
"You lunatics. You expect me to survive this?"
Or wait.
Are they just doing this to wipe out humanity?
A momentary doubt surged up, but I quickly dismissed it.
Stray thoughts during combat.
“Still not there yet.”
Thinking that, I looked at the goblins in front of me.
Sure enough, they were slowly closing in, sneering with the confidence of their numerical advantage.
"Charge."
<Whirr. Whirr.>
The Combatants dashed forward, venting steam from their backs.
They latched onto 1 goblin each, and to pry them off, a whopping 8 goblins were occupied holding them down.
The remaining 2 started charging at me.
What I had purchased—not lumber—was:
[Stone Pile Set]
Just 2 coins.
And it came with roughly 10 fist-sized chunks of rock—absurd value for money.
Whoosh.
Smack!
A goblin took a rock straight to the head and started bleeding.
This goblin either had combat experience or was driven by a fierce will to kill me—either way, it abandoned the fallen goblin beside it and kept charging.
Whoosh.
"Are you insane?!"
The goblin threw its own dagger at me.
I barely dodged it in a panic.
The one watching this calmly—
"Huh…?! You crazy bastard! Stop right there!"
—turned and started running away.
"Hup—!"
Crack—!
Got it.
Of everything I'd thrown up to this point, it was the most beautiful and powerful throw.
The goblin collapsed with a rock striking the back of its head cleanly.
I didn't know whether it was knocked out or dead, but I left those 2 behind and quickly launched a kick at the one beside them.
"To think I'd use the taekwondo I learned in the army like this."
Smack!
Smack!
I knocked 1 off and buried a dagger in the throat of the goblin wailing and clutching its ground-up leg.
Naturally, 1 blow to the throat of the out-of-his-mind goblin as well.
Steadily whittling down their numbers like that, the wave was over in no time.
[You have survived Wave Stage 4.]
[Trialseeker HP: 100%]
[Crystal Orb Durability: 100%]
A flawless 100% clear as always.
"Finally, the reward."
[Reward: Mid-Grade Summon Ticket (1)]
"Oh…ohhhhhhhhhh!"
I summoned the moment I received it.
[Mid-Grade Combatant]
"No freaking way—it appeared!!!!!!"
The Mid-Grade Combatant had a form resembling a raptor.
And not just any raptor—1 large raptor that looked like a leader-class.
Together with it, 2 raptors slightly smaller than the leader, belonging to the same pack, were summoned.
"Unbelievable…absolutely unbelievable!"
Looking at the sky, the time given now was a whopping 5 hours.
Perhaps because I'd been catching short naps after each battle?
Before I knew it, I'd fallen into a deep sleep.
Rumbleeeeee—
"Whoa—!"
I shot upright at the sudden sound to find goblins already emerging.
And not ordinary goblins—goblin warriors, no less.
How did I know?
[Goblin Warrior]
[Goblin Archer]
It was displayed right above their heads!
Just as I was hastily trying to get up, the raptors began to move.
<Kreeeeeeeeeek!>
The leader raptor started howling, and the raptors around it began howling as well.
From the gate: 3 goblin warriors.
And 5 ordinary goblins plus 1 archer.
The 2 raptors charged at the goblin warriors while the lead raptor dashed toward the archer.
Crunch.
It bit through the throat in an instant—a kill.
At the same time, the raptors that had charged at the goblin warriors also yielded results.
Of course, the lead raptor hadn't rested either—it had already taken down a whopping 3 goblins.
In under 2 minutes: 3 goblin warriors, 3 ordinary goblins, and even the archer—1 each—were dealt with.
Crunch.
[You have survived Wave Stage 5.]
[Trialseeker HP: 100%]
[Crystal Orb Durability: 100%]
[Reward: Trait Enhancement Ticket]
"This…is Mid-Grade?"
If Mid-Grade Combatants are like this, what about High-Grade? Highest-Grade?
I calmed my pounding heart and thought about what to do with the Trait Enhancement Ticket.
"I'll hold off."
For now, Throwing is already incredibly powerful as it is.
And just how strong are the ones I have right now.
In the end, I decided to trust them.
So what did I need to do?
I needed to spend a whopping 10,000 points.
"Spend 5,000 points for 5 Mid-Grade. 3,000 points for 6 Low-Grade. 2,000 points for 20 Lowest-Grade."
Out of the 20 Lowest-Grade, a whopping 10 came out as Combatants.
3 were Engineers who build structures, and 4 were Mechanics.
Additionally, 1 Gatherer came out.
The newly appearing unit type was none other than a Scout.
A creature that looked like a butterfly started surveying the surroundings.
Anyway, 2 butterflies began circling through the air.
At the same time, among the 6 Low-Grade units, 3 came out as beaver Gatherers.
2 were [Low-Grade Scouts]—not butterflies but crows.
In the air, 2 butterflies and 2 crows began to fly about.
And from the Low-Grade, a Combatant came out, no less.
"Mid-Grade is a raptor. Lowest-Grade is a Chihuahua. Low-Grade is a golem?"
It was a golem, and it held a mace and shield in its hands.
The size wasn't that large—roughly 160 centimeters?
"From Mid-Grade, a whopping 3 raptors per summon. So that's a total of 9."
And what came out were 2 Mid-Grade Gatherers—golems as well, no less.
Unlike the Combatant, these had a whopping 4 arms.
Being Mid-Grade Gatherers, I set aside the novelty—the remaining 1 was an Engineer.
It had the appearance of a dwarf.
"Hmm. I'll need to increase the numbers further going forward."
I brought goblin corpses over and, in a whopping 3 hours, all the bodies had been converted into points.
And now that they were Low-Grade and Mid-Grade, they could understand my words, so I could issue commands as well.
Meaning I no longer had to personally pick up coins from the goblins' lower halves.
And the job of going to the river to clean the daggers too!
"Ah, is it finally time."
The goblins that emerged from the gate this time numbered a whopping 30.
10 warriors, 5 archers, and 15 ordinary goblins.
But the moment they appeared, they saw the Mechanical Legion surrounding them—whether they were rattled or not, they started screaming.
Crunch.
"Ha. They die so well."
Sitting calmly by the Crystal Orb and watching this, I smiled with satisfaction as I saw them collecting coins on their own and bringing the corpses to the Gatherers.
These units truly are modern—their division of labor is excellent.
[You have survived Wave Stage 6.]
[Reward: Random Trait Draw Ticket]
"I'll take it right now."
I ran to the Crystal Orb to find not 1 but 2 exclamation marks waiting.
"Oh right. The Community."
I checked the log and quests were already posted.
It seemed I'd missed them while lounging around and napping.
[Tutorial (4)]
[This is finally the last quest. Access the Community.]
[Reward: Random Trait Draw Ticket]
"Okay, let me access it right away and check everything at once."
I pressed on the Community.
What appeared were 2 servers.
[World]
[Republic of Korea]
These 2.
I went into Republic of Korea first.
Upon entering, the most attention-grabbing post was visible.

I belong to the Republic of Korea Special Forces.
Why I ended up here, I don't know either.
In the modern world, I may have been marked as a deserter.
Being someone who always valued honor, this does weigh on me.
For now, it goes without saying that this place is what they call another world—a different world.
As you can see from the sky, there is no sun, moon, or stars, yet a red and moderately bright sky is maintained here.
For now, I would like to express my respect to those who have cleared a whopping Wave Stage 5 and survived long enough to read this post.
For reference, I maintained 100% HP and Crystal Orb durability on every wave except the 1st.
I then noticed that the rewards get enhanced as a result.
Try to keep both HP and Crystal Orb durability as high as possible. For reference, it seemed to award more points for Crystal Orb durability than for HP.
That's all for now. If there's anything else you're curious about, feel free to ask separately. We are all companions of the same cohort.
[Geumsa Ngdoryeong: What on earth is happening…I'd be in dire straits if the General weren't with me. What on earth is happening, really.]
[Explosion Maniac: Weak. I had 100% across the board.]

[In a situation like this, what is it that we must do?] Author: Devout Believer
We have been dragged here by the sins of humanity.
Come now, everyone—let us all confess our sins before God and repent.
Those who have been dragged here must have sins, great or small, do they not?
Let us all join our hands in prayer….
[Explosion Maniac: Is this guy insane?]
"Hmm."
It seems the world is running exactly as it should be.
