And through that crackdown, the troll spawns who'd been torching the gallery for fun came swaggering out into the open — only to get caught red-handed.

Once the existing mods zeroed in on the source and launched a full-scale crackdown, the gallery that had been blazing for half a day was reduced to nothing but dying embers in a mere thirty minutes.

Of course, the troll spawns were one thing — the fact remained that most users genuinely wanted to know what the event was about.

Well then.

The gallery had been burning so fiercely that even some of the long-silent veterans had come crawling out to petition for answers. In the middle of all that, one minor hiccup did occur — a veteran who'd run his mouth a little too freely got hauled off by his clan leader — but it wasn't anything that really mattered.

My attention, along with that of most of the userbase, was fixed squarely on watching how the admins would respond. And so, after the gallery had spent a good long while chewing over the issue, roughly three hours later, the rest of the players and I received another mass notification from the administration…
