The Rankings Are In
Some days I dealt with the fallout from one of Griyanaar's half-finished chimeras breaking loose and going after the NPCs living on the base — the usual round of frantic, messy cleanup. Other days I headed out to the construction yards to check on the battlecruiser we'd just started building, watching the work progress with my own eyes.
Random as it all was, it made for a genuinely packed, peaceful stretch of daily life — something close to a happy little healing arc, if you squinted. I finally got a chance to put my frayed nerves back together.
Of course, while I was living my best life, the users over in the gallery…
More precisely, everyone outside the southern theater and the Central District — which is to say, most of the player base — was bored out of their minds with this healing-arc energy.
Every single day I wake up thinking, "Today's the day the zones open," and I push forward.
They do not open.
I want to take my massive, throbbing grand fleet and ram it into every scrub nearby right this second, loot their insides down to the last bolt.
I've been thinking about this for a long time.
Maybe it was an attempt to kill that boredom, but out of nowhere the gallery users organized something like a creative contest.
But no matter how much the gacha characters standing next to them were sex incarnate just by existing…
The urges of a bunch of horny friends, it seemed, were simply too hard to keep in check.

87 written pieces, 103 drawings
But 90% of them are steeped in the most deranged sexual fetishes
Why the hell are you sticking dicks into dicks, for fuck's sake

Keep that shit in your private DMs
The poor contest organizer, who had suddenly become a factory for cursed images, wasn't the only casualty. Among the participants, anyone who'd uploaded gore, fetish art, or pure written smut got mass-purged in a series of minor incidents.
But even that, as of today, was finally over.
Slurp slurp gulp gulp ahhhhh yeahhh.
"…?"
"The day has finally come, Jessica."
"Pardon? Ah, yes — you're right. The event results announcement day is already here."
While I'd been busy with all the things mentioned above, a full week had flown by in what felt like a blink. Once the mods finished their purge dance and the creative contest wrapped up more or less successfully, the gallery returned to normal — and users started flooding it with hopeful posts and half-baked analysis threads.

Will the existing rankers hold their spots?
Or is the whole board getting reshuffled?
Personally hoping for the latter
Plenty of other speculative posts flooded in beyond those, and more than a few people were already pushing friends they knew as potential new rankers.
But even that marketplace of chatter…
With a soft bling, the official Event Results Notice Window appeared — and for a moment, the gallery and even the always-noisy global chat fell completely silent.
