Events Are Meant to Be Enjoyed Equally (2)
Yes, it's a festival.
If you're mad about it, you should've pulled better with your talent lol
When it was my turn to get obliterated, it was pure agony — but watching someone else go up in flames really was nothing short of a joyous festival. Turns out that old saying wasn't just empty words.
I was snickering away at the other users' spectacular failures when Jessica, who'd been standing beside me, quietly sidled closer and spoke up.
"Commander, what could be so amusing that you're enjoying it this much?"
"I'm simply following the teachings of the ancient sages: another's suffering is my happiness."
"Oh… that sounds exactly like something a villain would say right before getting brutally killed in the final act for running his mouth."
"What."
"Moreover, Commander — you're aware you haven't even run the Causality Lock yet, correct?"
"…Ah!"
Cut down by Jessica's razor-sharp observation, I nodded and resolved then and there to stop cackling over failure posts.
Of course, even so…
A person's dreams never end.
Right?
lmaoooo
Getting two D-grades at once is truly legendary fr
The odds of that are ridiculously low lmao
Yikes.
In the middle of all this, someone had managed to pull a double-D all by himself and ascended to Gallery King. The whole scene was pure chaos, and I found myself shaking my head without even meaning to.
And through it all, of course, the flex posts from users who'd pulled SS-grade and above kept climbing into Featured.
Lamia? Heavy cruiser? Is this any good?
I already have an Ares-class battlecruiser, so I'm not sure I even need a heavy cruiser.
Naturally, it wasn't just one of those flex posts — dozens of them flooded Featured.
Thousands of thoroughly scraped users either occupied the comment sections to rage at the mods, or decided they needed to vent and started trying to post every kind of garbage, shitposts, and assorted bizarre content they could think of…
But that only lasted a moment.
So I can legally destroy them later.
Look forward to it.
Exploiting a community system where posts that made Featured couldn't be deleted by the users themselves, the rank-2 player and resident mod issued a warning that he was compiling a perfectly legal kill list.
Most of the users who'd been gearing up to spam aggro and gore immediately cooled off and settled into a time of pure mod worship.
