Eh, Uso (151)
Finally, the event ends tomorrow. (5,522)
If you're a real man who couldn't even scrape together 500k points, massive upvote lmaoooooooo (6,123)
Blew way too much on the shop damn (15,245)
Haha. Same as me.
One look at the gallery made it obvious — most players were straight-up screaming into the void.
Take any random post and dig in, for example…
[Certification shot of a point total locked at exactly 499,999]
"It's over, you useless piece of trash."
Okay but seriously, how did they even land that number?
The sheer precision of the certification shot had buried the real point of the post — the raw scream of someone who couldn't even hit 500k.

What happens once tomorrow passes?
Don't you know?
Tomorrow's event begins.
And then there were the ones who had clearly snapped and decided to lean all the way into the bit. Between the genuine meltdowns and the committed bit-posters, the gallery was pure chaos — and I found myself quietly enjoying every second of it.
I'd been browsing for about an hour when I finally spoke up.
"Everyone's having pretty much the same reaction."
"What do you mean, Commander?"
"The people screaming that the event's over."
"…I really don't understand them."
For a bunch of people who had, for all practical purposes, been kidnapped and locked in here, they were way too cheerful and positive about the whole thing. Every time I scrolled the gallery or caught a glimpse of other players, the same thought crept in: maybe I was living the Dead Internet Theory. Maybe every other "player" was just a bot. Or maybe there hadn't been a mass possession at all — maybe I was the only one who'd been dropped into this world.
But that theory fell apart the second you looked at how active everyone was. If it were true, Betelgeuse wouldn't have been turned into ground meat by Marianne's completely sincere punch on that video. And other players wouldn't be able to chat with me either.
I shelved the pointless speculation, settled into the command seat, and watched Pashtura and Partia clear the final event quest together — a clean finish to wrap the whole thing up.
Exactly three seconds after that last quest cleared, the end-of-event notice finally appeared in front of me. The long, strangely low-profile event was over.
Wrapping Up the Event. (2)
> Greetings, Commanders!
> The Favor of the Reward event has officially ended as of this moment!
> In approximately one hour, an update will introduce the following:
◆ UPDATE LIST ◆
> Event rankings will be announced!
> All reward points earned during the event will be fully reclaimed and converted into Minerals at a set rate.
> We will be addressing certain error states experienced by some Commanders.
└ 1. Error preventing clan registration
└ 2. Hotfix in preparation so that bug-exploiting play by certain Commanders can no longer cause suffering for others.
└ 3. It has been confirmed that some Commanders were unable to complete purchases normally in the Favor of the Reward event shop. A modest compensation package will be delivered separately to the affected Commanders.
Something about the notice felt off compared to the usual ones, and I flinched for a second — but Jessica, the only other person on this base who could see the status window, just looked puzzled, checked it over, then shrugged her rabbit ears and shoulders like it was nothing.
"Well, looks like someone different from the usual wrote it, doesn't it?"
"Hmm… yeah, that would explain it."
Feeling a little silly for overthinking it, I went back through the update notes more carefully.
"So the rankings drop in one hour… that's the headline."
"Yep."
"I'd like to at least crack the top forty or fifty percent, if nothing else."
"Same here. Even that much would make up a little for everything we went through this event."
After that bit of back-and-forth with Jessica, I opened the gallery window to see how our fellow players were taking the update.
Sure enough, they were delivering exactly the reaction I'd expected — men, women, young, old, no exceptions.
[Event end notice attached]
What are they even doing?
I know this trash game never improves, but damn — if you're going to post it in an hour anyway, why not just drop everything at once?
I genuinely don't get it fr
Did they get high on avant-garde or something and start losing their minds over here too?
