First Class and the Mature Lingerie
We had just finished Miss Im Ji-hye’s self-introduction, so our class was packing up and getting ready to head to first-period advanced math.
Our academy was no different from any other. We didn’t do the usual enrollment-day trick of cutting the schedule short or skipping straight home after the ceremony. Instead, we followed the normal schedule: first period all the way to seventh period with full classes.
Who the hell decided that? We’re not from some other worldline high-school timeline, you know.
But muttering it to myself changed nothing. Like always, the only way to survive this hellhole was to shut up, adapt, and roll with the punches.
“Ugh… damn it…”
Just as I was stepping out of the classroom with my pencil case and textbooks, the door slammed open behind me.
“Si-woo!!”
—BOOM!
“Oof!!”
This gorilla again…!!
Behind me, my waist twisted like it had been hit by a wrecking ball. The impact rang out like a gunshot.
“You wanna die, Han Seo-ah…?”
“Hehe~”
Of course. The culprit didn’t need to show her face—I could already tell from that evil laugh.
Seo-ah had one hand clamped on her waist, grinning with her newly gleaming white teeth. She looked like she’d just won the lottery.
Show-off. She must’ve been getting her teeth cleaned too. Guess she wanted to brag.
Let me know the secret sometime, would you? I’ve got to go get my cavities fixed tomorrow and I’m already dreading it…
“Hey! You’re leaving for math, right? I’m coming with you!”
“Aah… you could’ve just asked normally! Why does every conversation with you start with fists or kicks?!”
“Huh? We also wrestle, don’t we?”
“…Fine, let’s go.”
“Yeah!!”
Unlike the guy who kept saying “A body is made of steel,” this gorilla was clearly built like one. How else could someone so low-intelligence pack that kind of monstrous strength?
Anyway, we lined up side by side and started walking toward the first-year E-class for math.
I glanced around. The hallway was quiet, just like on the first day of enrollment.
Yeah, that made sense. This was normal.
I and Seo-ah were the only odd ones out.
After passing the bathroom, we were almost at the E-class door when—
“Hyaaaak!!”
—CRASH!
“…?”
This familiar scream…?
Curious, I turned around. Sure enough, our homeroom teacher Im Ji-hye lay sprawled on the floor in a cloud of fluttering white papers.
“Teacher! Are you okay?!”
Seo-ah took one look and dashed toward her like a bullet. Her reflexes were terrifying—even for a gorilla.
“Teacher, are you hurt anywhere?”
“Huiing… thank you…”
Seo-ah picked up the scattered papers and brushed the dust off the teacher’s clothes. Watching her gentle hands on Miss Ji-hye, I felt my eyes well up with grateful tears.
“Eh? The thing on the paper… what is that?”
“Huh? Why do you ask.”
At that moment, Seo-ah muttered while staring at the printout.
What? Did she see something embarrassing?
I was curious what had made her react that way, so I sneaked a peek over her shoulder at the printout.
“Eh? What? Teacher Ji-hye’s subject is math?!”
The paper was covered in dense math formulas and concepts.
“Hehe… yes… I couldn’t tell you earlier because I was nervous, but… my subject is math…”
“Ooh…”
She didn’t even know basic algebra? That was crazy. People really shouldn’t judge by appearances.
“Yutcha! Here you go, Teacher!”
Just then, Seo-ah had neatly stacked the papers and handed them over with a bright smile.
“Hwaat! I could’ve organized them myself… thank you so much!!”
“Hehe, no~ Helping the teacher is the student’s job, right?”
Whoa~ That’s awesome.
Teacher Ji-hye hugged the papers tightly to her chest, thanked her, and Seo-ah scratched her head, giggling “Heehee~”
“Oh! Speaking of which, our first-period class is math. I can go with you!”
“N-net?! I-is that allowed…?”
“Of course! We’ll be seeing each other for an entire year… or five, even. It’s better to get close from the start!”
“Hwaaaat…!”
Yeah… that guy’s people skills are off the charts.
Seo-ah’s charm had been legendary since kindergarten. So famous that people said if she met the North Korean president, the day would be called “Unification Day.”
“Come on, let’s hurry, Teacher!”
“Y-yes, net!”
Seo-ah grabbed the teacher’s hand and marched toward the E-class classroom with bouncy steps.
Hey… did she forget the guy who offered to go with her in the first place—Han Si-woo?
I felt a little bad for being left behind.
“…”
I let out a quiet sigh, then followed Seo-ah and the teacher at a safe distance.
This was one of the reasons I couldn’t hate that guy.

Timing’s perfect.
As soon as we stepped into the E-classroom right behind them, the first-period bell rang.
“Si-woo! Sit down quick!”
“O-okay.”
I let myself be pulled to the seat right next to Seo-ah.
Normally we’d sit by attendance number, but since it was the first day, everyone else was already claiming their favorite spot.
The teachers didn’t say anything, probably because it was the first day and they were being considerate.
“T-then… let’s start class…!”
Teacher Ji-hye, who had arrived with us, hugged the papers to her chest and stood in front of the lectern.
“I-I never thought we’d meet so soon again… it’s really nice to see everyone like this… hehe… I was too nervous earlier, but I’ll be teaching you math for the whole year. Please take care of me!”
She bowed while still clutching the papers tightly.
“Then… let’s begin class…!”
Next, she picked up a piece of white chalk and started the lesson.
Haa… I didn’t want to sleep on the first day of math either…
Math had always been my weakest subject.
That’s why I’d usually zone out or sneak my phone during every class so far…
But sleeping on the first day is rude. And now the teacher is my homeroom teacher… I’ll probably never live this down!

Just as I was thinking that, the bell rang perfectly at the end of the teacher’s explanation.
“Ah, ah! Class is over…! Everyone must’ve been so tired from listening to class on the first day of enrollment…!”
After the bell, Miss Ji-hye smiled bashfully and started cleaning up.
“Whew… math actually finishes so fast?”
“Yeah… I prepared a pillow today thinking I’d sleep the whole day, but I didn’t even get to use it once…”
“You crazy bastard. A pillow on the first day…?”
Every student in the class felt the same way. One by one they stood up, praising the teacher’s class.
I guess I should get up too. I can’t waste my precious break time.
“Hey, Seo-ah. Let’s go.”
“O-okay…!”
Seo-ah, who had never found math this entertaining before, was still dazed even when I spoke to her.
Show-off. She’s gonna quit sports at this rate.
As I thought that useless thought, the classroom was emptying out. Just as Seo-ah and I were about to leave, a familiar sound echoed again.
“Hyaak!!”
—CRASH!
Wait… not again…?
A sound effect that was supposed to be unhearable now somehow still pierced my eardrum.
What happened this time…?
Half-curious, I turned my head to see where she’d landed this time.
“… C-black…”
Even I, still a minor, felt my retinas burned by one surprisingly mature pair of panties that had fallen right in front of me.
“Aiyaa… eh? Student Si-woo, something’s on my leg… kyaaaaaaaak!!!”
Feeling my shameless gaze, the teacher looked down where I was staring, her face instantly turning beet red. She hurriedly closed her legs and tucked them away.
“Y-you pervert!! Stop staring?!”
—BOOM!
“Cooch!!”
Next to me, Seo-ah’s face was also flushed as she punched straight at my jaw.
—CLANG!
“C-cough…!”
She must’ve sent me flying about a meter.
I crashed to the floor like a bug sprayed with insecticide, twitching all over.
Damn it… how does my school life start like this…!
…On a different note, the teacher apparently liked mature lingerie.
One useful piece of information acquired.
