For this afterword, I thought I'd combine it with a little Q&A session that a reader once requested.
If there's anything you're curious about, feel free to leave a comment! I'll do my best to answer as many questions as I can!
This is actually only the second time I've written an afterword since Reincarnation 25. If I try to write down everything I want to say, it feels like it'll turn into either a rant or something overly pretentious, so I'll just write whatever comes to mind naturally!
My goal has always been to write stories that people can comfortably enjoy reading.
Cute and lovable heroines, happy developments, and heartwarming moments! Those are the kinds of stories I love.
One of my personal goals while writing is also to commission illustrations for every heroine!
And also...
I spent a lot of time thinking about how to develop Rohan's relationships with the heroines.
Because the moment the protagonist officially gets together with one heroine and the story enters “19+ territory,” there's always the fear that view counts for the latest chapters will suddenly plummet.
It was something I learned from my previous work as well.
So I kept wondering every single day: would it be better to delay the relationships a little longer? Or would it feel more satisfying if they got together at this point?
In the end, I chose the route where the heroines—who feel almost like daughters to me—could move toward a happy future.
At first, I even considered pushing all the romance developments toward the very end and having Rohan end up with everyone all at once, but I eventually scrapped that idea...
As for my next work...
I think I'll probably take about a month off before returning! I want to travel a little and spend some time writing at a more relaxed pace.
I'm currently considering a variety of different ideas for my next project!
