Prologue
Do this, and it's the destruction ending. Do that, and it's the annihilation ending. The only one who ever found the game's sole happy ending was a single hardcore player who'd ground through it tirelessly, hundreds or even thousands of times.
By memorizing every line of dialogue in the game and committing every event to memory, he'd unearthed that happy ending like a beam of light—and no matter the setup, it always guaranteed a true happily-ever-after.
That player was me, Kim Minseong. It wasn't some burning passion for the game that drove me to obsess over it like that.
I was a penniless orphan who'd finally scraped together enough from part-time gigs as an adult to buy my first computer and game. Couldn't exactly splash cash on anything else, you know?
In the end, I should've mastered the damn thing completely...
"My, the Saintess has rather... vulgar tastes, doesn't she?"
"The Crown Princess herself lacks any eye for quality, doesn't she? Our Theo happens to like these antiques, you see? And our Holy Empire is just crawling with them!"
"Our Theo?! Is this woman out of her fucking mind?!"
"What! Wanna ditch the ranks and throw down?!"
Not content with shoving me into the game, now the two heroines who're supposed to ignite a romance with each other have their flames roaring for me...!?
No. No way. This is bad. Like this... the only thing waiting is the destruction ending...
They should be holding hands, falling in love, sharing kisses, for fuck's sake...!
