An Unjust Accusation
"How could you do something like that?"
Countless eyes bored into me. The students stared as if I were nothing but garbage.
"Stalking... Why on earth would you do something like that?"
Someone had framed me. I had never stalked anyone. That was why I shouted back, voice cracking with desperation.
"I... I didn't do anything! I never stalked anyone! Do I look like some kind of insane pervert to you?!"
"Then what exactly is that phone we found in your drawer? What about all the photos of me stored on it?"
"I'm telling you that's not my phone!... Why are you doing this? You don't believe a word I say? This is unfair. I'm truly being wronged!"
"You're denying it to the very end. How utterly repulsive. I will personally ensure the entire academy learns of your vile behavior, so prepare yourself. Wouldn't it be better to withdraw on your own terms right now?"
Yoo Heeyeon. With a face twisted in venomous rage, she had driven me into a corner. She really had spread the rumor throughout the academy, and it traveled like wildfire.
The very students who had shared classes with me only yesterday were now all staring at me with pure loathing in their eyes.
