Even so, Reni was in such a rush that she kept chaining Cures and pushing me forward. Even this morning, the second I woke up, she had nagged me to head to the dungeon...

...She had defeated an undead monster with Holy Light.
Well, I understood the principle.
Undead were neutralized upon contact with Divine Power. Holy Light had no attack power, but it was still a mass of Divine Power, so touching it inevitably did some damage.
The problem was its output. Attacking undead with ordinary Holy Light was like beating them with a spoon. Reni’s Holy Light, however, was a spoon larger than an average halberd. In other words, with enough output, even Holy Light could do this.
...Had I done something absolutely insane...?
"Reni. Don't you have anything else besides that?"
Had I said something weird? The mood around Reni suddenly sank.
"...Ah... well... my Divine Power was too weak, so I never had the chance to learn... I know the theory, but..."

I used the Holy Sword’s Holy Fire to reduce its remaining Divine Power to 50. It wasn't merely because I was bored; I thought I had figured out roughly how the sword had entered my dream.

When I checked my equipment this morning and held the Holy Sword, weirdly enough, its stored Divine Power was lower. I had fully charged it after dealing with that Bone Fucker last time and hadn't done anything with it since. It wasn't like the Holy Sword passively consumed Divine Power just from being idle, either. And yet almost a third of its Divine Power was gone.
...Wasn't it obvious?
It had probably used Divine Power on its own to invade my dream. But I hadn't seen any skill among the Holy Sword's listed ones that could do that. Was the Holy Sword hiding something? A hidden skill?
Anyway, at this point I didn't necessarily need to charge the Holy Sword's Divine Power with my semen. Not since Reni had awakened.
But... I still felt spiteful. I wanted to punish this foul-tempered damn sword. Keep spraying it with semen like before? But if I kept up that nonsense, it would just show up in my dream again and try to make me a eunuch.
It was time to reverse my thinking. The Holy Sword had tried to harm me in a dream. Put another way, if I didn’t dream, it couldn’t harm me at all. So I only had to exhaust its stored Divine Power and keep it from using Dream Sharing.
Right... Before returning to the inn, I would use Holy Fire to empty its Divine Power, sleep soundly, then replenish it the next morning with Divine Semen while punishing it at the same time.

Well, that was partly a personal satisfaction thing. I had a more practical reason, too. If the Holy Sword really did get buffed, it was bound to be a massive help going forward.

Kill the skeletons, defeat the mid-boss, destroy the magic circle, recover the medium-sized magic stone, and return to the inn. It fit into one sentence, but took considerable time in practice.
Even normally, the trip back and forth took a certain amount of time, but today, thanks to Reni, we were delayed a little more. Reni had gotten a real taste for killing undead with Holy Light...
Watching Reni beat the mid-boss to death with Holy Light was like seeing the Spoon Killer in person: pounding something with a wildly inefficient weapon until it died. Even as a skeleton, the mid-boss looked at me desperately, as though begging for a quicker death.
But seeing the expression on Reni's face...

Well, good was good, right? As long as it wasn't me on the receiving end. Anyway, we had done everything we had to do, so we were on our way back to the inn.
