I never imagined reaching it in one go. Then again, up until now I’d mostly raised favorability by cooking and serving food or desserts. Startled by the sudden noise, Eros and Sonya scrambled upright despite their exhaustion. Their reactions were instantaneous. They had looked half-dead moments ago, yet here they were, already scanning the surroundings while still naked. Sonya in particular stared out the window with the most shocked expression.
“Sonya, did something happen to the barrier?”
“S-Someone’s attacking my barrier…!”

Eros cut in and approached Sonya, already fully armed. ‘When did she even change clothes?’ Maybe it came with being a second-year—her speed at getting dressed was unreal. I almost thought a battle alert had gone off.

Another tremor rocked the ground, and dirt rained from the ceiling.

This time she shot me a playful look, as if she knew everything. Even in this situation, Eros looked bright and cheerful. I’d thought she’d passed out, but apparently she’d been watching the whole thing while pretending to be unconscious.

When Eros pointed out the liquid on her face, Sonya flinched and reacted sharply.

They really were the same chaotic duo as always. Still, seeing them like this put me at ease. I’d worried things might become awkward after what just happened, but thankfully their relationship seemed completely fine.
