Screwing the Amour Gang (3)
My breath was coming a little short, and a few spots on my body were creaking in protest. Even so, I ran and ran until I arrived — the lord's manor. Koldo was crawling out of it. Boldga had been telling the truth.
"The hell are you doing coming out of there? Anyway, perfect timing, you piece of shit Koldo."
The moment I drew my sword, Koldo's lip twitched and sweat beaded across his face.
"Dammit, what the hell was Boldga doing?!"
"That guy fought bravely right to the end. Way cooler and more of a man than his master, that's for sure."
"Bullshit."
"And after he lost to me, he told me. Begged me to stop you. Said a guy who can't even run trying to fly was asking way too much."
"Bullshit... Huh? Heh, hehehehahaha!"
The bastard who'd been rattled by my sudden appearance suddenly looked me over with care — and burst out laughing.
If he makes fun of my height again, I'm killing him.
"Still, looks like I got something out of this. Your left shoulder's a wreck, isn't it?"
I sighed. Koldo was pointing at my blood-soaked left shoulder. I'd managed to take Boldga down somehow, but I'd taken a beating myself. I didn't know the exact principle, but a Force Heart powered by mana instead of ki felt stronger.
"Look who's talking, you maggot."
I pointed right back at him. This guy's condition wasn't great either. I didn't know what he'd been up to in there, but his chest was torn open and bleeding, and he had slash wounds all over his body.
"We're both in shit shape. Let's go one-on-one. If you're scared, you can run — I'll even call you Abeiru the Second."
"Heh heh, I think I'll take you hostage. That way I can screw Renata, Sion, whoever I want! Kyehehehehehe!"
"Go ahead and try, maggot. Let's see if your lust is bigger than mine."
Koldo here was dreaming real big. Who was screwing who? He'd never even get a look at a woman for the rest of his life. The second he lost to me, he was going straight into the dungeon as a broken wreck of a man.
And even if it doesn't go that way, I'll make sure it does!
I slowly stepped forward. Locking eyes with him, I circled in the opposite direction. Three lights shone from Koldo's solar plexus as well — white, this time.
Back-to-back against two Runner Lates. Just my luck.
Should I have asked Lumina for help? No. I was going to be a hero, wasn't I? I couldn't go asking for help over something this small.
Take heart, my Apostle. I believe you will win.
Thank you, Goddess. I shall fight according to your will!
In a single instant I kicked off the ground, gripped my sword with both hands, and swung. Koldo twisted his body to dodge, and I instantly redirected the blade toward him.
"Hup!"
But Koldo slipped it easily. At the last moment, the sword's trajectory wavered — the wound in my shoulder. Dammit, that had been a good opening. Meanwhile Koldo was flying around like he wasn't even injured.
Whoosh, papang! Tsupang, bakak!
Wearing gold-plated knuckles, he tossed out light jabs before slamming in a straight. He'd throw an unorthodox hook one moment, then fake a kick and go for a takedown the next. No wonder he was an underworld boss — the guy knew how to fight. And he was a Runner Late on top of that.
I thrust my sword at Koldo as he darted left and right. When he tried to dodge again, I threw an unorthodox front kick. He evaded as if he'd expected it.
But I'd expected him to expect it.
Shaaak!
I slashed across Koldo's thigh as I passed. He grinned and immediately closed the distance. I thrust my sword as a check, and he slammed the flat of the blade with everything he had.
"Kh!"
I lost my grip on the sword. In that opening I charged in and drove a flying knee into his face.
BWOOOM!
He lost his balance and went down. Amazingly, even as he fell, he drove a fist into my solar plexus.
"Ghk!"
I swallowed a gasp and dropped to my knees, but I forced strength into my eyes. Don't go down.
I've got women I need to protect! And a whole lot of women I haven't even slept with yetttt!
I struggled to my feet, and Koldo windmilled himself up and charged like lightning. By the time I got my guard up, his straight came flying like a thunderbolt. I raised my shield to block and threw a right hook. Koldo cross-guarded and went for my solar plexus again.
Whoosh!
I ducked fast, grabbed the leg he'd extended, and drove forward — a single-leg takedown.
"This little shit?!"
A startled Koldo tried to shake me off. I knew he'd do that. My stats had gone up, you know. Let me show you.
"HUUUUP!"
I hoisted him up and slammed him into the ground. Koldo rubbed the back of his head and ground his teeth.
"Ghk, how the hell does a brat have this much strength...!"
"I'm not a kid, I'm an adult! A goddamn huge aduuult!"
I took the top position and started pounding. He struggled to move his upper body and guarded as best he could.
Thud thud, PAAANG! Bwoom-thud!
I was pounding him like a madman when he suddenly drove his elbows into both my flanks. It hurt like hell, but I gritted through it and dropped a finishing pound.
BAAAHK!
We both landed heavy blows and broke apart.
"Cough, khhh!"
Koldo coughed and stood up. I staggered to my feet as well. Why the hell did that bastard look so fine?
No matter how much I hit him, he doesn't seem to feel pain. Oh, right. He did drugs. That fucking junkie.
I should probably taunt him. Even if he couldn't feel the pain, it was definitely stacking up. So I just needed to stack even more damage.
"What's a criminal piece of shit doing here, huh? You fuck."
"Caught you off guard, didn't I? Came to screw Renata and that Sion bitch, hihihit!"
"Pick a tree you can actually climb, you rotting virgin."
"What? Shut the fuck up! And what's so wrong with rape anyway?"
"What?"
Whoa. Look at this guy. He was worse than me.
"Back in the day, how many guys did this shit and still got treated like heroes?! When a famous guy does it, it's a hero's lust — but when a guy like me does it, it's a crime?!"
He was actually arguing with me. A snort of laughter escaped.
"You've got a point there."
I gave him a half-assed answer and went back on the offensive. As I advanced, I checked my condition. My left shoulder felt like it would tear apart if I put even a little force into it. My solar plexus throbbed with every breath. My stamina was almost gone, and my breathing had been ragged for a while now.
The aura's burning through all my ki. I've got about a minute left?
I clenched my fists tight. There was nowhere left to retreat.
I'm betting everything on this one minute!
I charged in throwing jabs. When Koldo dodged and threw a calf kick, I countered with a front kick.
Whoosh, slash!
Koldo dodged and threw a rapid one-two. I evaded, grabbed his flank, and thought of someone.
Necro Slime.
A left-hook feint into consecutive liver shots, then a calf kick. Koldo's body listed to one side. He somehow forced a rear-hand straight through.
Mom.
I opened my right hand and parried the rear hand he'd thrown, then cracked his jaw with a left hook. He staggered. I threw another left hook followed by a right straight.
CRAAACK!
Koldo went flying, spit spraying. And still he got up. The bastard was getting back up like a zombie, stubborn as hell. He was a wreck, his face a bloody mess — and he was smiling.
"Heheheh, crime or not, if you succeed, history takes your side. That's how the world works. My dreams are infinite!"
"Dreams only mean something when you leave them as dreams. Time to wake you up."
I closed the distance. Koldo staggered but raised his guard, a smile playing on his lips. I could tell just by looking.
He looks composed, but he's exhausted. He just can't feel the pain — the damage has stacked up!
We traded punches. Koldo seemed to be enjoying this. He looked utterly, blissfully happy. Dodging jabs, blocking hooks, turning his straights against him. This was an exchange a regular hero candidate wouldn't even be able to follow.
One moment. I end it all in one moment! I'm pouring out everything I've got!
I threw a hook to pull his guard to one side, then flicked out a light jab. Koldo parried and went to throw a hook. He was grinning.
"It's over, you brat!"
"Yeah. Yours."
The instant his hook came flying in, threatening as hell — I lifted my foot.
PWOOORK!
I kicked Koldo square in the balls. At the sudden low blow, his expression cracked and his eyes bulged like they were about to pop out of his skull.
"GHHHRAAAAAAGH!"
His stance collapsed cleanly. In that opening I put a jab on his nose and a left hook flush on his jaw.
Crack, BAAAK!
Koldo went down, spit spraying like water. Then I grabbed my sword and severed the tendons in all four of his limbs.
"Oopsie, looks like I won?"
I sent him a blatant sneer. Koldo twitched and ground his teeth.
"You cheap-shot son of a bitch... right there...!"
I shrugged casually. This guy had the wrong idea.
"Are you retarded? What, is this a WFC title fight? This isn't a match — it's a fight where we put our lives on the line. Why the hell would I play fair? Especially against a criminal like you?"
"Khh, son of a biiitch!"
"And I think you've got it twisted — you would've lost even without that. You anchovy-dick piece of shit."
I kicked him in the balls one more time, hard. A soccer kick, specially.
PWHAAK!
I heard something wet burst. Well, not my problem either way. I sat down next to Koldo, who was writhing like he was about to die. Haah, I was so fucking tired.
You have struck down your enemy!
+15,000 CP
It had been especially hard this time — probably because the Abyss had risen compared to before. What happened if the Abyss kept climbing like this?
Is some random passing goblin going to end up with Demon King-tier specs?
I was grinning at that stupid thought when the captain of the guard came running with his men. He spotted me first, then saw Koldo and froze in shock.
"Lashu, did you do this?"
"Yes. I've subdued him for now."
"Well done, Lashu Leonhart!"
The captain seized Koldo. I could see Renata and Mom coming out of the lord's manor. What the hell — what had they all been doing in there?
"Well done, our... ahem, Lashu. You did truly well. I shall praise you."
Renata was trying her hardest to act haughty. Then Mom came over with a goofy grin and squeezed me in a tight hug. I was buried in her breasts and could barely breathe. Still felt pretty good, though!
"My son's the best♥"
Looking at Mom, who was genuinely happy for me, I felt like I was getting my strength back. Still not fighting anymore though, nngh.
Then Jeira appeared, wrapped in bandages. She looked okay. She just silently gave me a thumbs-up. Weirdly cute.

Huh, I'd never seen this notification before. What exactly was this?
I did enter a created world, yeah. So this means I'm influencing the world that much? Over something this small?
The notification still left me with questions. But I decided to just accept it. I was in a good mood today. Heheh. I felt proud of how much I'd grown.
I'll do whatever it takes to win. This is the path of the Beastly Hero!
A smirk crept onto my face. When the hero candidates arrived as well, Renata declared:
"Wooooaaaaah!"
Everyone should have been exhausted, but they were roaring with energy from the encouragement of Renata, the Lord Deputy. They moved with purpose. And so, over the course of this one day —
The Amour Gang fell.
