That Outfit Is Unforgivable!
"I can't forgive an outfit like that!"
"Hoo…."
I warped to the school rooftop, a place rarely visited by anyone, confirmed no one was around, and released my transformation.
Even when I come to school, magic beasts and kaijin keep showing up.
What a rip-off.
Thanks to that, I was able to slip out during lunch like this.
Still, I got to grab some cake on the way and even met a magical girl who left a review, so it wasn't all bad. But I really wish they wouldn't pop up in the middle of class.
As the transformation faded, my white hair shifted back to deep navy, and the tomboy-princess magical girl outfit turned into a plain sailor school uniform.
I checked the time on my smartphone—plenty of lunch break left.
Maybe a quick stroll? That's when it hit me: Seoyeon was still resting in the nurse's office.
She probably hasn't eaten yet, so maybe I should grab something simple for her.
…
Knock knock knock.
I knocked on the nurse's office door, but no response.
No one's inside?
Click.
"Anyone there?"
I quietly opened the door, peeked in to confirm it was empty, and stepped inside.
The nurse's office was surprisingly tidy—better stocked than I'd expected. I hadn't really looked around earlier since I was in such a rush, but it had all the basics: bandages, cold medicine, pain relief patches, you name it.
A bit further in, I spotted Seoyeon asleep on the bed.
She looked so defenseless in her cute sailor uniform, her face scrunched up like she was having a bad dream.
I approached to wake her and noticed her lips moving faintly.
"Mom—where—Dad—too—much…."
Her voice was so soft that even with my current body, I could barely make it out.
Anyway, to get some food in her, I started gently shaking her.
"Seoyeon. It's lunchtime."
She began reacting to my touch, her eyelids fluttering.
She's waking up.
"Mm…."
Ah, there we go.
She finally opened her eyes and looked at me—a mix of confusion and fear at first, but it faded quickly. Good.
"I got you a sandwich. Want it?"
I handed her the one from the school shop. She thanked me and took it.
"Y-yeah… thanks…."
She took a small bite, and her pale face brightened a little.
Phew, that's a relief.
"Anemia any better?"
"Yeah! Feeling okay now, bit by bit."
Young bodies recover fast, huh.
"Then maybe it's time to head out."
Right then, a familiar voice cut into our chat.
I turned to see the health teacher. Her appearance was as hard to get used to as ever.
She stood there with her arms crossed, eyeing us suspiciously. I wondered why for a second—then it clicked.
"Who said you could eat in the nurse's office?"
Ah.
"I'm nice to patients. So I'll say it once: get out. Now."
Is that nice? Whatever, we hurried to leave with Seoyeon.
"Can you walk?"
"Y-yeah…."
She slipped on her shoes without stumbling and made it out fine.
"Don't overdo it right after recovery. And eat properly."
The teacher tossed that parting shot our way without looking back, then shut the door.
Guess she is kinda nice.
"Hoo… hoo…."
I was pretty winded—it'd been a while since I ran.
"Tired?"
"Hoo… I'm fine."
Unlike me, she showed no signs of fatigue as she took another bite of her sandwich.
"Nom."
Slide.
The classroom door opened with a rattle. A few kids glanced our way but soon lost interest and went back to whatever.
"So anyway~"
"No way!?"
The others were too wrapped up in their own chatter to notice us.
"Anything fun happen in class? Or any interesting lessons?"
Seoyeon flashed a playful smile as she asked.
Her color was way better now.
"Sadly, nope."
Just like the science teacher said in second period, the rest were totally ordinary.
Luckily it was OT time, so classes flew by, but still boring as hell.
"Well, third period had that retired magical girl Pururi Pupu teaching disaster class."
"Huh? For real?"
She knew Pururi Pupu too?
Though her reaction was kinda weird for a fan.
"I guess the urban legend about a retired magical girl teaching disaster prep was true."
Ah.
That surprised her.
"First I'd heard of it."
"Back in middle school, it was just some random teacher who clearly hated doing it."
Yeah, I wouldn't wanna do it either.
"Nom."
She finished the last of her sandwich while chatting with me, then beamed a thanks.
"Phew… you saved me. I was starving to death."
"Glad to hear it."

The bell rang right on cue. We all took our seats for the next class.
Next up… oh, homeroom teacher's time.
Hope I can snag the seat next to Seoyeon when we switch.

"GRROOAAARH!!!!!"
The magic beast's deafening roar blasted into my ears.
Loud as hell.
To shut its mouth quick, I dashed toward it.
It kinda looked human at a glance, but its purple skin and height well over 3 meters screamed "not human"—definitely a magic beast.
As I closed in, it swung the massive club in its hand.
"GRRAA!!"
Getting hit by that wouldn't just hurt—it'd be game over. But I had no plans to tank it.
I activated my magic, making the club and its arm vanish right in front of my eyes.
"GRR!??"
The beast panicked and tried to pull back—but too late.
-THWACK!
A club appeared out of nowhere behind its head.
Caught off-guard by its own attack, the beast dropped dead soon after.
Phew.
Oh right.
"Did you enjoy Magical Girl Pronesis's service? If it helped, please leave a 5-star review."
Can't forget the pitch.
"Leave a review now, and I'll throw in some cake and a plate as a special bonus."
"Uh… thanks…?"
She took the cake and plate I handed her, then pulled out her smartphone and tapped away.
-Ding!
My phone chimed. I warped out right away.
'Not gonna check?'
"Checking right in front of them feels pushy."
It'd been two weeks since I started the review event.
And the results?
Review participation was through the roof.
Out of 10 magical girls I helped in two weeks, 7 left reviews. Huge win.
Sure, some dinged my stars along the way—unavoidable.
Tastes differ.
'Some were your fault, though.'
"If I do everything for them, the other girls won't grow."
'…Sigh.'
I ignored Sofia's world-weary sigh, headed home, and released my transformation.
English Lavender merch by the entrance seemed to welcome me.
Heh. Good call taking it from Seoyeon.
I admired the never-gets-old design for a bit, then remembered something.
Wonder if that's here too.
"Sofia, did my order arrive?"
"…Check the front door."
I opened it—yep, a package right there.
"Nngh…!"
Heavy.
I barely dragged the box inside and opened it: a pile of clothes.
I didn't have much besides the uniform, so I ordered some basics online.
Standing in front of the living room mirror, I threw on a random shirt and pants. A cute girl in a plain tee stared back.
Great looks make anything work.
I struck a few poses when Sofia's voice came from my phone.
"You're gonna be late for your plans."
Oh right.
I'd ordered clothes partly for today—my shopping date with Seoyeon.
We'd gotten close at school over two weeks, so we planned this outing.
Plenty of time left, so any old outfit would do.
"I can't forgive an outfit like that! We're shopping for clothes first—now!"
Ah.
