Major Button Blunder on Day One – And Becoming the Villainess Lady
That slightly undersized white dress shirt—it had triggered a full-blown catastrophe.
In truth, this was all part of the Awakener Association Seoul Branch's entertainment strategy too. With a live record broadcast, there was no faking or editing anything. Every unexpected mishap unfolded in real time, exploding with raw, primal entertainment value. It started as a countermeasure against crime guilds tampering with evidence the Association collected, but these days? Pure viewer bait.
"...For these reasons, we apologize for starting the record broadcast before fully preparing for dungeon entry."
At least I didn't fuck up even worse in a panic after the button popped. I'd just stuck to reading the manual's script until Hyeji sunbae returned. The recorder's face only needed to show at the start of the broadcast, so I'd turned the camera away. Now it was just time to film the Dan-gun Guild properly.
'I wanna die...'
Separate from that, the mental trauma lingered. The chat was flooded with titty compliments, and Hyeji sunbae was next to me, lips twitching as she fought back a grin. I'd thrown on my jacket to hide the popped button, but I swear I could still feel eyes on me.
"You said it felt a bit small earlier..."
"...Sorry, Sion."
Right before entering the dungeon, with the recorder's mic off, Hyeji sunbae started briefing me on the Dan-gun Guild. A broadcast glitch was a glitch, but work was work.
"The Dan-gun Guild hasn't entered the dungeon yet. One Association hunter was holding them off."
"One person blocking the entire raid team?"
"Not with brute force, obviously. They cited regs and clauses to stall entry."
The current standoff: Dan-gun Guild vs. Association staff. The guild tried slipping in early while waiting for us, but got delayed by a single Association member. Normally, a mid-tier guild raid could bully past one person, but this guy clenched his teeth and stuck to the rules, denying permission.
"Why try entering without the Association?"
"They probably got intel on special rewards. Didn't want it leaked via record broadcast."
Occasionally, guilds dodged broadcasts to hoard pricey info. Understandable, but skipping records for that could lead to unforeseen disasters. Hell, it might even revive the crime-spree era of the first-gen guilds.
"We're starting negotiations with Dan-gun now. You'll do this as an Association member someday, Sion, so watch and learn."
"Got it."
Since we'd arrived before they could enter, their plan was already fucked. They couldn't cancel entry now, so it'd just be a light scolding and done.
"Uh, should we turn the recorder back on just in case?"
We had the justification on our side, so recording any conflict was smart. With just the camera on, no one would know what was said.
"...No. Keep it off until dungeon entry."
"Ah, yes ma'am."
Maybe to avoid sparking direct friction with the guild? Hyeji sunbae ordered the mic off. Made sense—the first lesson at the Association was never pick fights with private guilds.
"Hey, Hyeji. Long time no see."
The Dan-gun raid leader greeted Hyeji sunbae casually—they knew each other. Per the Association docs, his name was Kim Minho, B-rank tanker, 40-something uncle type. Elder by age, tricky as raid leader.
How would Hyeji sunbae handle him? Answering my curiosity, she slapped on her work smile, approached... and unloaded.
"Shut the fuck up, Kim Minho."
Wait, weren't we supposed to avoid fighting guilds, sunbae?
"...Haha. We got a bit eager this time and slipped up, but I'm like your dad—ain't that a bit harsh?"
"Act your age if you want elder treatment. Should I coddle a retard who can't remember one damn rule?"
"No, but..."
"This ain't your first early-entry stunt. You kill someone like that, whole Dan-gun Guild turns criminal. Forgot?"
For 15 straight minutes, Hyeji sunbae hammered him with insult-laced scolding. Scariest part? She kept that friendly smile the whole time. Probably camera-conscious for the broadcast. That's why no mic.
"One more fuckup like this, every license gets revoked. Got it?"
"Yeah..."
"Use polite speech with Association staff, you wannabe crook."
"Understood..."
Hmm, but Hyeji sunbae'd been casual with him the whole time. Shoving that aside, I inspected the Dan-gun raid team's gear. First field gig meant grunt work for me.
"Goblins are the target—why prep attack magic scrolls too?"
"One of our raiders makes scrolls."
"Noted. All clear."
Inspection done—no suspicious items, all raid-related.
"Um... Miss Association?"
"Yes? What is it?"
After gear check, waiting for entry, a female raider handed me a necktie.
"Use this if you need it."
"...Thanks."
No random gifts—she meant to cover the popped button. Jacket hid it now, so...
'They watched the broadcast.'
Dan-gun must've tuned in to time our arrival. And that girl was kinda my type... made me wanna die even more.
Time flew in that storm, and dungeon entry loomed.
Gear inspected, broadcast gear checked, weapons prepped for potential fights—my tasks done. Now support the raid and Hyeji sunbae inside.
"Nervous, Sion?"
"Eh, less than I thought."
No real tension. I'd brushed death tons (well, failed and died), and loops were my ace.
"Good. Most freak on first entry."
"Really?"
"One of my sunbaes shit themselves in a dungeon."
Yeah, life-on-the-line stuff tensed everyone up.
"No slip-ups on your first go, right Hyeji sunbae?"
"...Nope."
She suddenly averted her eyes, head down. Obvious something happened, but no time to pry.
"Dan-gun Guild First Raid Team! Dungeon assault begins!"
Entry time.
"Good luck."
"Pardon?"
"Association tradition. Luck charm for first dungeon dive."
With that, Hyeji sunbae leaped into the entrance. Nice words.
Saved to Point 2!
<Point 2> - (2025/10/28)
Alright, time to play goddess of luck. New save point made, I dove in after.
"Come at me, world!"
And so my first dungeon raid kicked off.
Dungeons aren't just monster slaughterfests.
They have rules and laws, places to devise strategies around them.
The prime example?
Entry drops you not into a monster den, but a whole other world. Raiders get roles, and resolving the assigned 'event' using those clears it.
As the law shows, roles are crucial. One might be the hero saving the princess, another the detective nabbing a killer.
Worldview matters too.
"This carriage is more uncomfortable than expected."
As the Association scouted, this dungeon's theme: fantasy. Carriages over cars, mages and knights ruling, feudal classes intact.
And my role in this world? Pretty damn shocking.
Association uniform transformed by dungeon mana into a fluttering dress. Gaudy gem accessories, over-the-top hairdo screaming vanity.
"Lady Sion finds the carriage uncomfortable!!"
"Off with the coachman's head!!"
Jeong Sion, 22 (army vet). I'd become the villainess lady.
"All of you, shut up."
"Eek! Forgive us!"
But hey, it kinda suited me?
