“If we’re making a channel, we need a name first.”
Shin Jiyeon pulled out her phone and started searching for hunter YouTube channels. Even though the number of hunters wasn’t that high, plenty of them had opened channels to build up their name value and earn some extra income. Just in Korea alone, dozens of channels popped up in the search results. Of course, some had probably been abandoned out of laziness or because they weren’t turning a profit, but quite a few still seemed active.
The naming styles varied wildly. Some used their real names, others picked weird nicknames, and a few went for bizarre puns.
“It’s no different from regular YouTube.”
It felt like even hunters couldn’t escape the same old patterns.
“The videos are the same. Aside from a few decent ones, most of them just slap up whatever they feel like and rely entirely on the ‘hunter’ brand.”
The content ranged from vlogs to magic demonstrations, martial arts tutorials, and even videos of people dismantling monster corpses. The genres were incredibly diverse. But the vast majority were unedited gameplay footage or casual vlogs that only existed because the uploader happened to be a hunter.
“I never really looked into it before, but it’s a total mess.”
Park Jihun muttered as he scrolled down the screen. Even then, a few channels still caught his eye.
“...This woman has a channel too.”
One of them belonged to the Fist King, Yang Siwu, who had visited him before. The name was straightforward: ‘Fist King Yang Siwu.’ The videos were surprisingly solid, with strong view counts and a decent subscriber base. It didn’t seem like she was riding solely on her reputation as Korea’s number one hunter—her latest uploads were still pulling in good numbers.
‘She really does love the attention.’
Severe exhibitionism. Jihun figured her craving for attention probably stemmed from that particular kink.
“Anyway, we need to come up with a name for our channel too.”
“Let’s hear some ideas.”
Jihun handed out pens and paper to his familiars.
“The winner gets a prize! A prize!”
Sira suggested adding a reward, clearly excited by the idea.
“A prize?”
“Kar likes prizes! Tasty food!”
“That sounds good. Let’s decide by vote and grant the winner one wish!”
Just as the naming sense battle was about to begin—
“...What exactly are we naming?”
Trene waved the paper and pen with a confused expression.
“Ah, well… it’s our team name. We’re naming the team so we can show it to other people.”
Since Trene hadn’t fully adjusted to modern culture yet and had no idea what YouTube was or why it mattered, they explained it to her as simply as possible.
“Hmm. I understand.”
She nodded as if she’d grasped the concept, and so the naming sense competition officially began.
Prize: Channel name decision rights + One wish
The naming sense competition had started on a whim. The grand prize was the right to decide the YouTube channel name and one wish. The papers filled with Park Jihun and his familiars’ unique sensibilities were finally all collected.
“Alright, let’s check them one by one. Look at them all and vote for whichever you like best.”
To ensure fairness, the familiars’ own servants were excluded from voting. Only the eight core members—including Park Jihun and Shin Jiyeon—would cast votes.
The first name to be revealed was—
Park Jihun and the Kids
“Jiyeon, how old are you again?”
“Huk?! How did you know it was me?!”
“......”
Leaving the shocked Shin Jiyeon behind, Jihun unfolded the next paper.
Female Dog
“Sira...”
“I-It wasn’t me?! This is unfair! It’s obviously Ruze! Ruze!”
“Haaah… haaah… Filmed in a video, blackmailed with it, and in the end broadcast live so the shame never disappears…!!”
“Can someone calm her down?!”
The next name followed right after.
Big Dick Alpha Male TV
“...Sira.”
“Why is it always me?! Well… okay, this one actually is mine...”
Park Jihun and His Familiars
“...Sunbae, you’re not much better.”
“......”
Meat Lover
“Yeah, Kar eats a lot of meat.”
“Woof! Kar loves meat!”
Kar answered while perking her ears up cutely. Everyone smiled warmly at the sight. She probably didn’t even understand what they were doing.
The Queen’s Knights
“The subject suddenly became the queen herself.”
“Is this not my team?”
“Even after getting pounded that hard, she still thinks she’s on top. As expected of the Vampire Queen.”
“...S-silence!”
Park Jihun Channel
“Oh… simple...”
“Very Serina.”
“...W-what’s wrong with it?”
Female Specialist Hunter
“...Sira, is this you again?”
“I already went earlier! I even confessed!”
“Submitting two is against the rules.”
“I didn’t!”
Then who the hell came up with such a vulgar channel name? Excluding everyone who had already submitted…
“Hmm?”
Everyone turned to Briana in surprise.
“I-It was me, actually...”
Briana’s face turned bright red as she admitted it was hers. Of all people, the most normal one among them—Briana—had written something that sounded like it came from Sira or Ruze.
“W-well… I thought that among the provocative names that spread well on the internet and draw a lot of aggro, this one best represented Master.”
“O-oh...”
“Hmm...”
Her shy explanation was surprisingly convincing. It was incredibly clickbaity, and since he only hunted female-type monsters, “Female Specialist Hunter” wasn’t exactly wrong. He even had the Female Hunter skill. There might be policy issues with the name, but nothing else captured Jihun’s identity and drew attention quite like it. Plus, the channel concept—daily life with the females he had tamed—fit the title perfectly.
“Then let’s vote.”
They held a formal vote, but everyone had already expected the outcome.
“Hehe, thank you everyone.”
Briana bowed shyly, her face flushed red.
“Alright, what’s your wish?”
The channel name was tentatively decided as Female Specialist Hunter until they received any policy warnings to change it. Now it was time to grant the winner—Briana—her wish.
“M-my wish is...”
“Please fuck me! Ravish me until I’m nearly dead!”
“Tie me up and torture my sensitive spots! Even if I scream for you to stop, please keep tormenting me!”
“...Someone shut these two perverts up.”
“W-which perverts?”
“The gray-skinned one and the succubus!!”
When Jihun shouted at the confused Shin Jiyeon, she quickly restrained Sira and Ruze. After making sure the weirdos couldn’t interrupt again, Briana stated her real wish.
“My wish is… to go shopping together for the first time in a while!”
“Shopping?”
“Yes… We have new members now. It would be nice if we all went out, bought some clothes, and just had fun shopping together.”
Briana smiled brightly and glanced at Trene.
“Haha, sure, why not. Let’s all go shopping. We need to get Trene some clothes anyway, and we should pick up some equipment for the YouTube videos too.”
“At a department store? Ugh… that’s going to draw a huge crowd.”
When Shin Jiyeon shook her head, Jihun grinned.
“Why would we go to a department store? With one word, I can rent out an entire store.”
“Ah.”
Briana nodded and quickly checked the list of sponsor companies.
Camera and filming equipment will be shipped if needed.
Clothing: One luxury brand store has been reserved exclusively for us.
“The camera and filming gear—they said they’ll ship whatever we need. For anything missing, we can just order it online ourselves.”
“What about clothes?”
“For clothes… I reserved one luxury store. It’s a big place that carries multiple brands. When I told them it was for YouTube filming, they said we could take anything in the store.”
“Whoa...”
Jihun gave Briana a thumbs-up for her quick work. Those kinds of tasks used to be handled by Shin Jiyeon, who had been in charge of Jihun’s overall management as guild master. But at some point, the secretary role had completely shifted to Briana. She had the most normal mindset among the group, adapted quickly, and handled these matters efficiently and professionally.
“Shall we go buy some clothes then?”
Jihun led the familiars toward the luxury clothing store.
“Wow~! This is so pretty.”
“Doesn’t that look a bit small on you? Especially around the chest.”
“Mmm… it is pretty big.”
The women laughed and chatted as they picked out and tried on clothes. Jihun watched them with a satisfied smile.
‘It was just like this when we went to buy swimsuits last time.’
While he was thinking that, Briana—who was wearing a white V-neck short-sleeve shirt and black shorts that revealed almost as much thigh as hot pants—quietly approached his side.
“Have you picked everything?”
“Yes. Hehe.”
She smiled brightly and playfully lifted the hem of the clothes she was wearing. She seemed to really like them.
“This feels just like a d-date, doesn’t it?”
Briana glanced at him shyly as she spoke.
“Hahaha, yeah, it does.”
Jihun laughed and agreed. But there was one big problem with calling it a date. There was only one man—Jihun—while there were seven women. And six of them were monster girls with non-human appearances. Of course, Jihun thought that was actually perfect.
“A date, huh.”
Jihun seemed to ponder the word for a moment before smiling slyly.
“Yeah… the natural end of a date is… that, right?”
“......”
Briana, who immediately understood the meaning behind his smile and words, turned red all the way to the tips of her ears.
