Interview (3)
“Good work today.”
“Aigoo, Yejin, you worked so hard. No schedule tomorrow, so get some proper rest.”
“Yes~”
After finishing the Huntube shoot, host Joo Yejin let out a short sigh and stood up from her seat. Today’s filming had been for the monthly Hunter Popularity Poll video. They had conducted a survey through the Huntube community beforehand, then announced the rankings while discussing the hunters who made the list. Having shot for a full five hours just to get satisfying footage, her body felt quite stiff.
“Thank you for your hard work, everyone on staff.”
Still, she never forgot to greet the filming staff—the colleagues who ran Huntube with her—and offered them a warm, polite farewell.
Hmm…
As she left the studio and headed home to rest, Joo Yejin found herself thinking back on the monthly hunter popularity rankings they had covered in today’s shoot.
The man who had held an unshakable first place—Kim Dojin, the One-Shot Wonder—had plummeted all the way to fourth. The days of him being praised as Korea’s greatest hunter were already ancient history.
In his place, the current strongest hunter in Korea, the one who had publicly revealed his stats and completely claimed the top spot, had taken the crown. Yang Siwu, the Fist King, with her pretty face and slender figure that drove fans wild, had seized first place in the popularity poll.
What surprised her was that Joo Yejin had been certain Park Jihun would take the number one spot. After all, he was currently the hottest name in the world—the very first and most popular hunter on the planet.
But apparently, the fact that he only tamed and kept beautiful female monsters around him had earned him the envy and jealousy of countless men. On top of that, many women seemed to resent him a little, calling him “the enemy of women.”
For reference, third place had gone to Shin Jiyeon, the hunter who always accompanied him. Her pure, beautiful appearance paired with that explosive figure had earned her overwhelming support from male voters.
Park Jihun, the hunter…
Right now, Joo Yejin’s attention was completely fixed on him. It made sense—he was the biggest issue-maker causing waves everywhere he went.
If he would just appear on Huntube once, the channel would explode.
The incentive she would receive would be enormous, and it would give the channel’s growth a massive boost. Especially since Huntube mainly uploaded content focused on Korean hunters, the vast majority of their subscribers were Korean.
But the last time they had invited Yang Siwu for a live broadcast and uploaded the edited video, the number of overseas subscribers had increased significantly. Probably because she, like Eagol, was a hunter who had drawn global attention.
So if the current hottest topic in the entire world—Park Jihun—were to appear on their channel…
Four million subscribers wouldn’t be a dream anymore.
They currently sat at 3.67 million. Even that had risen by about fifty thousand thanks to the Yang Siwu effect. If Park Jihun appeared, another one or two hundred thousand would be nothing. Four million subscribers would definitely be within reach.
But the problem was—
“There’s no way he’d come. Why would someone like him appear on Huntube?”
Joo Yejin snorted. She had been the one to suggest inviting him. But she had only told the team to reach out on the off chance it might work; honestly, she had never believed Park Jihun would actually agree to appear on Huntube.
Truthfully, the man generated massive buzz just by existing. He only revealed his abilities because hiding them would cause problems in his activities—he didn’t seem interested in popularity farming at all. If he had been, he would have already appeared on every broadcast, TV show, and variety program out there.
So for someone like that to suddenly appear on Huntube? On a channel with 3.67 million subscribers and enormous influence? It was ridiculous.
If he actually says yes, I’ll film myself doing the Zero Two dance in Gwanghwamun Square and upload it.
Just as Joo Yejin was thinking that—
Vrrrr— Vrrrr—
Her phone suddenly rang. The caller ID read “Boss.” It was Shin Sooheon, the channel manager in charge of overall Huntube operations.
“Tsk, I already left work and he’s calling me?”
She clicked her tongue in annoyance but still answered. It might be important.
“Yes, what is it?”
And that phone call turned out to be far more important than she could have imagined.
(Yeah, Yejin. About Park Jihun, the hunter… he says he’ll come on…?)
“…Excuse me? What?”
The first thought that flashed through her mind was simply: Why?
She had just spent the last several minutes elaborately explaining to herself all the reasons why Park Jihun had zero reason to appear on Huntube. So why on earth had he suddenly agreed?
Had he suddenly developed a taste for popularity farming? Or was there a personal reason? Whatever the case—
Joo Yejin was incredibly relieved that she had kept the Zero Two dance promise strictly inside her own head.

“Wow, Jihun. I’m so nervous. It feels like I’m going to meet a celebrity.”
“…Why are you nervous when I’m the one getting filmed? And you’ve never even met a celebrity before.”
In front of the filming studio, Park Jihun had driven the sponsored car here with Sira in tow. While Sira was incredibly excited, the person actually doing the shoot—Park Jihun—looked completely uninterested.
Huntube, huh… I did think about trying it back in the day.
This was the era where anyone could become a personal creator. Hunters in particular often used their fame to run Huntube channels or streaming accounts. Since Park Jihun had once looked up to YouTubers and streamers, he had considered doing it after awakening as a hunter. But—
My content would’ve been on the Adult Apple TV side of things.
He had given up because it would clearly turn into deep, dark adult broadcasting. Besides, he had no desire to show his intimate moments with his familiars to an unspecified audience.
Anyway, after going in a full circle, he had ended up getting invited to Huntube to film an interview.
Park Jihun, you’ve really made it.
The realization that he had become a successful hunter hit him anew.
Of course, he hadn’t come here for filming today. This meeting was to finalize the interview content, decide on a shooting date, and discuss the detailed schedule and video direction.
“Don’t do anything weird.”
“Anyone listening would think I’m a succubus who only does weird things.”
Park Jihun wanted to ask if she didn’t realize how wrong that statement was, but he knew Sira wouldn’t listen seriously anyway. He simply let out a deep sigh and walked into the building.
If she looked like she was about to cross a line, he could just stop her. Monster eye-candy is one thing, but crossing lines with people is different. It wasn’t so much an ethical issue as the fear that messing with humans would create social problems and become a huge hassle.
After all, he wanted to eliminate anything that might interfere with the enjoyable time he spent with his familiars.
“Hello.”
“Ah! Yes, you must be Hunter Park Jihun. Nice to meet you. I’m Shin Sooheon, the person in charge of Huntube.”
When he entered the studio, a middle-aged man with a bushy beard who introduced himself as the production manager was waiting, along with—
“Hello, I’m host Joo Yejin.”
—Joo Yejin and a few other staff members.
“Kyaaak! It’s Joo Yejin!!”
At that moment, Sira’s eyes turned into hearts as she began jumping up and down. She looked exactly like a high school girl meeting her favorite idol oppa.
“And this person is…”
Shin Sooheon asked in confusion. Since she was wearing normal clothes and had hidden her wings and horns with magic, no one recognized her as the succubus Sira.
I thought her face had become pretty well-known on the internet by now.
Apparently, without the distinctive features, it was hard to recognize her right away.
“Ah, this is one of my familiars, Sira. She’s a huge fan of Miss Joo Yejin and really wanted to meet her, so I brought her along… Is that going to be a problem?”
If he saw even the slightest hint of discomfort, he planned to immediately shove her into his subspace. But—
“Ooh! The succubus Sira…!”
“Whoa… That’s amazing.”
Instead of looking troubled, the staff members stared at Sira with open curiosity. Since they regularly filmed hunters, they seemed to have less fear toward monsters. The fact that Sira had a friendly, human appearance probably helped too.
And Joo Yejin—
“Oh my! Really? Wow, I’m so happy. Do I really have enough charm to make a succubus fall for me?”
She seemed absolutely delighted that Sira—who possessed a body that could only be described as the incarnation of charm and sexiness—had called herself a fan. Her face flushed red as she twisted her body shyly.
Well, a succubus fan is probably a first for her.
No, if she already had one, that would actually be stranger.
“Haa… Can I really not hug you just once?”
The moment Sira’s desire flared and Park Jihun sensed danger, he moved to open his subspace—but—
“Hehe, you can’t charm me. I’m everyone’s host, Joo Yejin, after all.”
“Ah…! N-no, I wasn’t planning to—”
Thanks to Joo Yejin’s witty iron wall, Sira hurriedly suppressed her pheromones. It seemed they had leaked out unconsciously the moment she met someone who matched her tastes.
Still, she’s got some serious guts.
A monster—moreover, a high-ranking intermediate succubus at the upper end of B-rank—was trying to hug her while radiating full-power charm pheromones, and Joo Yejin simply smiled without batting an eye. She really was a professional host who regularly faced hunters in person.
While he was thinking that, Sira and Joo Yejin wrapped each other in a tight hug.
The sight of two beautiful black-haired women embracing was so heartwarming that everyone around them couldn’t help but smile.
On top of that, Sira’s incredibly voluptuous breasts and Joo Yejin’s own explosive pair—which, while not quite at Sira or Shin Jiyeon’s level, were still plenty massive—pressed together and squished softly.
“………”
“…Ahem.”
The warm smiles instantly turned into lecherous gazes. The moment the two women separated, their elastic, massive breasts bounced back into their original perky shapes. The men who couldn’t tear their eyes away quickly looked elsewhere. Getting caught could lead to workplace sexual harassment complaints.
Of course, Park Jihun had no such worries, so he openly enjoyed the sight of Sira’s enormous chest.
“Wow, I just hugged Joo Yejin. Wow… This means I can move to the next stage, right? It’s a green light, yeah?”
“………”
Where the hell did she learn lines like that? Or had she known them all along? With cold, narrowed eyes, Park Jihun answered for her with a firm “no.”
