Lizbet's Resolve!
“Sema! Hello...?”
Sera, who had been greeting me happily upon seeing me, froze mid-sentence, her eyes widening round as saucers. It was probably because of Lizbet, who was blissfully hugging my arm right beside me. With her lewdness and affection both maxed out at level 10, Lizbet's behavior and expression made her look like a woman utterly, sincerely in love with the man she was linked arm-in-arm with—no one seeing it could think otherwise.
On the way to the Guild Management Office, Lizbet had been plastered right up against me, this massive half-human half-beast monster, and it had drawn more than enough stares from passersby. Lately, people in Radia had even started greeting me, so it felt like they were getting used to my looks... but even so, the sight of me in full monster form cozying up with Lizbet like lovers was apparently still pretty shocking.
And Sera knew how Lizbet used to snap and snarl at me just a few months back, so this whole scene had to feel utterly baffling and surreal to her.
“Ah... uh... Ah, hello. Lizbet? Y-you and Sema are... getting along well now, huh?”
“Hey, Sera. Hehe. Well... a lot's happened♡”
“...Um... Lizbet. What about Als...? Oh, n-never mind.”
Sera glanced away in a fluster for a moment before spotting the document envelope in my hand. Her expression shifted as she asked, “S-Sema! Judging by that, you're here to submit a guild creation application, right!?”
Forcing a smile, Sera seemed to decide just to ignore Lizbet's whole vibe. Smart choice, Sera. Even I was a bit thrown by how much Lizbet had changed—enough to feel a little flustered myself. She'd been warming up to me lately, sure, but she'd still cared somewhat about what others thought... Now, though? She was acting like she was screaming to the world, 'This stud next to me is my man~ And I'm his bitch~'
It was exactly what I'd hoped for, but I hadn't even told her to become mine yet, and here she was already showing it off like this. Scary stuff, that Bitch skill. To think it could change a person this much...
I cleared my throat and handed the papers to Sera with a grin. “Yeah, uh! Thanks to you, it was a breeze to prepare! Appreciate it!”
Sera took the documents and led Lizbet and me to an inner reception room, offering us seats. Lizbet, still clinging to my arm, naturally plopped down right next to me, pressing in close. Her blissful face didn't care whether Sera was there or not.
Averting her eyes from Lizbet with visible effort, Sera said she'd be right back and ducked behind the guild counter, returning with some gear. Without looking our way, she pulled out the papers and started checking them over.
“Let's see... Name... Signature... Capital... All good...”
She flipped through slowly, ticking off items. It felt like she was deliberately avoiding eye contact—was that just my imagination?
“Guild name... 'Beast's Paradise'? That's unique. What does it mean?”
“Oh, nothing deep... I'm a monster, right? It means I'll work hard to build a guild that's like paradise.”
Actually, it's paradise filled with my bitches! Lizbet had told me other guilds had all sorts of cringey, edgelord names, so I'd brainstormed a few and settled on this one—it seemed decent enough to bullshit an explanation for.
“Hehe, got it? Guess you'll have to hustle from now on, Sema. Hmm, and...”
Whether she suspected the hidden meaning or not, Sera just accepted it and kept reviewing. “...Yep! All the paperwork checks out! And this emblem... you're sure about it?”
It was a different-textured paper from the rest. She held it up, staring at the square frame and the pattern inside as she looked at me.
The paper in Sera's hand bore a U-shaped horseshoe I'd drawn with Lizbet's help. Inside it was a subtle, stylized version of my cock's shape—disguised so no one would notice—surrounded by what looked like magical runes on the horseshoe itself. At the top, in ink slightly different from the rest, was a '– H –' motif capping the U like a bar.
There was an explanation written around the edges, but that top part could be customized per guild member with different letters. I'd put an H for Horse, but for the others, I planned Roman numerals based on join order.
Sera read the emblem and notes, tilting her head curiously. “Hee~... Quite the unique design. What shape is this supposed to be?”
“Uh... like a footprint or something... No special meaning, just doodled what came to mind.”
There were hoofed monsters in Essentia, but nothing quite like a horse... How the hell was I supposed to explain this?
“Well... you can't change it later if you regret it, you know? No take-backs.”
“It's fine! I love it! Don't worry—just make it like this.”
Took a ton of thought, y'know.
Sera eyed me for a moment, nodded, and packed up the papers. Then she pulled a vial-like thing from her bag, attached to a freakishly huge needle tube... Wait.
Come to think of it, she mentioned drawing blood? Was that the scary-ass tool?
“Uh, Sera? That isn't the blood-draw thing, is it?”
“It's fine! Just a quick pinch!”
Hoeaek... Who'd have thought I'd get stabbed with a giant isekai syringe? Ignoring my freakout, Sera jabbed it in with practiced ease and drew my blood. It stung like hell going in—matching the needle's size—but some magic must've been at work, because the vial's cap glowed and filled up painlessly.
She pulled the needle out with a smile, sounding all nurse-like. “Don't overdo it today—drink lots of water! Oh, and... you timed this perfectly. We can process your app faster than expected since we're handling a batch today.”
Sweet. Now it was just waiting for kingdom approval and registration.
With the submission done and a hefty 5 gold coins paid, my guild creation was official. Once the kingdom greenlit it and the Guild Management Office registered us, I'd be a guild master ready to welcome my bitches. Filling it with my women and hitting dungeons? Already buzzing with excitement.
I thanked Sera profusely and left the office, pumped. On the way back to the inn, Lizbet—who'd gone quiet at some point while still hugging my arm—spoke up softly.
“...Sema.”
“Yeah? What's up, Liz?”
Blinking like she'd made up her mind, Lizbet looked me in the eye and said, “Can I... join Beast's Paradise?”
...Huh?
I'd planned to lure her away from Als once approved, betraying him for me... but she was volunteering first without me even asking?
“...Liz. You know what that means, right?”
Quitting Light of Madel—the guild she'd built with Als—to join mine? That was basically declaring she'd betray him herself.
She closed her eyes, nodded, and said, “I know. Exactly what I'm saying...”
Her arms tightened around mine, hugging even harder. “I've already made up my mind.”
Lizbet's face radiated unbreakable resolve.
