Twelve Points at Dawn
The amusement park date stretched all the way into the evening.
Once the sex was over, the charged atmosphere faded, and we actually got to enjoy ourselves like we were really out on a date — riding the attractions, watching the animals. We even stayed for the nighttime parade, and by the time we made it back to the lodging, every last one of us was completely wiped.
"...I just wanna sleep already."
Jiyoon noona was the most exhausted of the bunch. She said it had been a genuinely long time since she'd spent an entire day just playing around like this.
"I'm going to bed first, kids."
And she meant it — she barely managed a shower before collapsing into a dead sleep.
"That's thirties stamina for you...!"
"Wow, Jung Eunchae, you really have zero mercy."
Thank god noona was already out cold and couldn't hear that. This girl genuinely did not have a merciful bone in her body. How could she just drop a line that brutal like it was nothing?
"But honestly, I'm super tired today too. Back when I was a teenager I never felt this wrecked even after going this hard. Right, Dohyun-Dohyun?! I'm not the only one who's wiped, am I?!"
Not that I knew how much time she thought had passed since her teenage years, but whatever.
"Yeah, well. I'm pretty exhausted too."
Though honestly, I was pretty sure this had less to do with the amusement park and more to do with the fact that we'd been having an absolutely insane amount of sex all day. Without that, I don't think I'd be this wrecked.
"Hwaaah... we should get some sleep too..."
Dayeon noona let out a long, languid yawn, looking just as spent.
"Does even your yawn have to be that cute?"
"Don't get smart with me and just go to sleep, little Dohyun~"
I'd complimented her because the whole thing was adorable, and she immediately started treating me like a kid, ruffling my hair.
"So noona gets off on getting railed by a kid? That's kinda dangerous, don't you think?"
"Hey! No dirty talk!"
The way she yelped was so cute I couldn't help giggling as I flopped down onto the bed.
"So, who's sleeping next to me?"
"Me!"
The words were barely out of my mouth before Dayeon noona dove into my arms like there was nothing to even think about.
"Eek, that's so unfair!"
Eunchae pouted that it wasn't fair, but noona clearly had zero intention of giving up her spot.
"Tch, then next time I'm definitely sleeping next to Dohyun!"
"Suuure~ if Jiyoon unnie says it's okay, go right ahead~"
This time it had been easy to decide because Jiyoon noona had been knocked out from exhaustion, but next time we'd definitely need to include her in the conversation.
"Come on, come here."
"Won't it be uncomfortable sleeping like this?"
I wasn't much of a snorer or anything, but I figured being glued together like this might get uncomfortable, so I asked.
"Nnh, not at all? This is super comforting. I love it."
She burrowed right in, burying her face against my chest... and even after everything we'd done today, I still got hard. It was honestly impressive at this point.
Was I actually just ridiculously high-stamina?
"So unfair! I wanna bury my face in Dohyun's chest too!"
Eunchae was still grumbling, but she didn't seem interested in stealing the spot. She quietly turned off the lights and settled in next to Jiyoon noona.
And just like that, the night passed without anything else happening.
"Ugh, I'm so tired. I hate going to work."
In front of the other three, Jiyoon always put on a fairly mature, professional front — but she was just as ordinary as any other office worker when it came to hating her commute. Even so, today's schedule was stacked to the point of absurdity. She knew that if she started pushing things back, everything would unravel, so she forced herself up under the weight of that responsibility.
"Mm, noona. You're already up?"
It was 5 a.m. The sun hadn't even risen yet. They'd stumbled into the lodging around ten the night before and passed out, so she'd gotten about seven hours of sleep, at least. Still, it was the rustling of Jiyoon getting up in the dark that woke Dohyun, and he asked.
"Ah, sorry. Did I wake you?"
She'd been trying to slip out as quietly as possible without waking the three of them.
"Nah, I just woke up thirsty."
Dohyun sat up, drank some water, and rubbed his eyes, trying to pull himself together.
"And I should at least see you off."
"Aren't you just the sweetest?"
The cute Jiyoon from yesterday was gone — she was back in professional mode as she gave Dohyun's hair a light ruffle.
"But it's fine. I'll get there carefully on my own, so sleep in, hang out with the kids a bit more, then head back."
"Yeah. It'd be nice if you could stay longer too."
"Can't be helped. I was actually supposed to head back yesterday. Even staying this long was pushing it."
She couldn't put it off any longer. Jiyoon quickly washed her face, came back out, and got fully dressed.
"I won't be able to stop by home... Guess I'll have to wear the spare suit I keep at the office."
After running through the timing and figuring out her clothes situation, Jiyoon packed her things and stood at the door.
"Say goodbye to the kids for me. Let's all go on another outing soon. I'll be in touch."
"Yeah. Get there safe."
"And if you need a driver when you head back, you tell me, okay?!"
She still hadn't given up on that, apparently. Jiyoon brought up the driver thing again, and he just waved her off.
"I'll text you, noona."
"Okay!"
She had to absolutely hate going to work right now, but she didn't let a single bit of that show as she walked out. Dohyun could only think she was amazing.
"...So sleepy..."
He'd only forced himself up to see Jiyoon off, so Dohyun shuffled back to the bed, carefully wrapped his arms around the soundly sleeping Dayeon, and tried to drift off again.
...Hmm.
The funny thing about being human, though, was that no matter how exhausted and sleepy you were, once you actually woke up, sleep didn't come back easily. He tossed and turned with Dayeon in his arms for a while, then finally got up and headed for the sofa, worried he'd end up waking her too.
"Augh, I'm so tired."
Might as well check the status window and distribute the stats he'd earned, Dohyun figured.
"Hmm, let's see."
Distributable Stat Points: 12 pt
The distributable stat points floating in front of his eyes totaled twelve. He'd gotten 3 points from the three-on-one date, and a full 10 just from entering that kind of relationship with Jiyoon.
I spent 1 point on the eel rice bowl, so that leaves 12 points, yeah.
Once Jiyoon got back, she was going to send over the contract deposit now that they'd signed, and converting that into points would net him another 5.
That'd make 17 points total.
He could always just not convert the money, but there wasn't anything he needed cash for right now, so stocking up on stats felt like the most efficient play.
"For now, let's dump 10 points into Planning."
If he was going to be planning Jiyoon's videos going forward, Planning ability was the most urgent thing he needed. Pushing the Planning Stat up to 20 before diving in seemed like a solid approach. He'd already learned from the other stats that 10 didn't do much, but the moment you crossed 20, the efficiency became no joke.
"Alright, 10 points into Planning."
Whether it was thanks to the Planning Stat shooting up to 20 in an instant...
...maybe I should suggest shooting a vlog of Dayeon noona today?
Drafts of Dayeon's vlog, ideas for how to steer Jiyoon's YouTube going forward — they started circling through his head.
"Hmm."
He closed his eyes and started organizing his thoughts one by one. Dohyun knew perfectly well that no matter how many ideas flooded in at once, if you couldn't organize them properly and actually use them, they'd just stay as thoughts.
Dayeon noona's vlog first. Someone mentioned hanging around the park a bit more this morning, so I'll film her riding attractions, focusing on those cute reactions of hers...
It felt like ideas were welling up endlessly in his mind. And since Dohyun knew Dayeon better than anyone, the ideas just kept pouring out even faster. He already had a complete read on what kind of footage the viewers would eat up.
Nice. If I edit it like this, I should be able to upload it by tomorrow.
Since they'd posted about the outing yesterday, getting the vlog edited and up as fast as possible was the way to go. A livestream was an option, but looking at it the other way, that raised the odds of Dohyun or Eunchae ending up on camera, and Dayeon might end up feeling like she was working instead of actually enjoying herself.
Livestream's a pass.
A livestream could be fun if she were traveling alone, but with other people around, the viewers might actually get bored.
Stats really are... convenient.
As he wrapped up the planning for Dayeon's vlog, Dohyun let out a small laugh, thinking how bizarre it was that the ideas just flowed the second the stat went up.
Alright, that's enough for Dayeon noona's vlog. Now, let's think about Jiyoon noona's videos too.
Dayeon's vlog was content that required her permission, so it might not even happen today. Besides, Dohyun was Dayeon's editor, not her planner, so this was more like a test run now that he'd raised the stat. He could afford to take it a little lightly.
With Jiyoon noona, she's too busy for a filming schedule anytime soon, but we still need to coordinate on the planning together.
This one needed more careful thought — organizing everything and actually writing up a proposal. This was the real work.
