The Editor of Her Fantasies
A wet, filthy squelch leaked through the door.
Dayeon's streaming studio had two bathrooms. One opened off the living room and was shared by everyone; the other sat inside the room that housed her soundproof booth.
"Haa... ah..."
The bathroom attached to the soundproof booth was Dayeon's alone — which meant the obscene sounds currently filling the air were coming from the shared one.
And the star of those filthy sounds was none other than Eunchae, the thumbnail artist.
"Nngh... mm... ah, that feels so good..."
"Haa, nn... touch me more right there..."
The fantasies that had exploded while she was thinking about Sense — Dayeon's biggest fan — had driven her, with her already ravenous sex drive, to start masturbating at work.
Squelch. Squish.
She'd rolled her T-shirt up over her shoulders and tossed the pink bra she'd worn underneath onto the sink. Her breasts — a pretty B-cup, soft and beautifully shaped — were completely bare. One hand slowly kneaded the plump, yielding flesh, then flicked and teased a pink nipple; the other had shoved her shorts and panties down around her ankles, fingers working busily over the pale-pink clit exposed between her spread thighs.
"Nngh, ah, hnn...! Ah, hh...!"
The fact that someone might hear her from outside only fed the perverted hunger coiled inside her. Not that she wanted Park Woojin, of all people — and she certainly didn't want him walking in on her. Fortunately, he was working from home today for personal reasons, which was the only reason she could be this bold about getting herself off in the office bathroom.
"Nngh, mm... haa, ah... s-so good..."
Whatever Park Woojin was or wasn't doing, Eunchae's fingers only moved faster against her clit.
Squelch! Squish, squelch!
Pleasure radiated from her fingertips in waves she couldn't stop. The hand on her breast, which had started out gentle, was now pinching and tormenting her nipple without mercy.
"Hyaah, ahn...! Haaahn...! Nngh...!"
Masturbating in an unfamiliar place, on a sudden surge of lust that had hit her in the middle of work, brought her to climax far faster than she'd expected.
"Haa... ah... holy shit. That was insane."
Outside, Dayeon was still live. And since Eunchae was one of Dayeon's most devoted viewers, she had the stream playing on her phone. Dayeon's bright, pleasant voice spilled from the speaker beside her, same as always.
"...Haa... I want a pervy guy friend who likes Dayeon unnie as much as I do..."
Technically, a guy friend who did everything she wanted wouldn't be a guy friend at all — he'd be a partner. But Eunchae wanted a filthy male best friend, and she wanted one badly.
Preferably a handsome one. No, wait. This is real life. Ordinary-looking would be fine.
Anyone who wasn't Park Woojin, personality-wise, would do.
With that thought, Eunchae slowly stood, wiped away the slick that had dripped down her thighs, and started putting the bathroom back in order.
Ugh. Post-nut clarity is hitting hard.
Even Eunchae couldn't escape the crash that came after. Doing it at work, and doing it while imagining her favorite unnie's fan — the two facts stacked on top of each other and came crashing down as a wave of crushing embarrassment.
"...I should just... get back to work..."
She'd almost finished everything on her plate for the day, but she figured a little extra work would help her shake off this awful feeling.
She finished tidying the bathroom and stepped outside — only to find Dayeon standing right in front of the door. Dayeon, who was supposed to still be live.
"Oh, Eunchae, you're out? That took a while."
Eunchae's eyes flicked from her phone to Dayeon and back. Her pupils practically shook in their sockets.
"W-wait, the s-stream... the stream's over?!"
"Yeah, I just ended it."
She yanked her phone up and checked the stream. Sure enough, it had ended only moments ago. The "stream ended" screen was still sitting there.
"H-huh...?"
"What were you even doing in there that you didn't notice I went offline?"
Dayeon asked it so innocently that Eunchae seriously debated whether to tell the truth or just claim she'd been taking a massive dump.
"Anyway, never mind that. I picked an editor."
Dayeon dropped the bomb like it was nothing.
"Huh?! Already? You only posted the listing a few days ago!"
Finding an editor was usually a long, grinding process — a few weeks at the absolute minimum. Someone as careful as Dayeon should have taken even longer. Hearing her drop that announcement after barely a few days made Eunchae's head spin.
"Someone I really like applied."
Right up until the stream started, Dayeon's face had been full of worry. Now she was beaming from ear to ear. Whoever it was, they must have been a genuine catch.
"Who is it! The portfolio! Show me!"
Eunchae had no real reason to look at the portfolio, and Dayeon had no obligation to show her. They were just close, and Dayeon knew Eunchae worried about her — so she was sharing.
"You've probably seen it a bunch of times already."
"Huh? How would I have seen it a bunch of times?"
After double-checking that the stream was actually off, the two of them walked into the soundproof booth together. The space was more than big enough for two, decorated with the same clean, polished aesthetic that defined Dayeon's streams.
Dayeon pulled up a video.
"Wait... isn't this one of Sense's fan videos?"
Now it made sense why Dayeon had said she'd seen it before. The video playing was one of the fan edits they always watched together and laughed over — the ones Sense made.
...I literally just got off thinking about this guy. If I watch this, I might get turned on all over again.
The absurd thought flickered through her head, and then a different question surfaced.
"Okay, but why are you showing me this?"
She'd asked for the editor's portfolio, not one of Sense's fan videos.
"Huh? You asked to see the portfolio."
The words coming out of Dayeon's mouth sounded an awful lot like...
"Wait. Don't tell me the editor you hired is Sense?"
"Yeah, that's right."
The girl who'd been having filthy thoughts thirty seconds ago suddenly looked very serious.
"I know Sense has a good eye for editing and makes really fun videos, but... honestly, isn't the quality not quite editor-level?"
It was the first time she'd ever said out loud what she'd only ever thought to herself. She had a reason. Eunchae could actually edit — she was still a beginner, but she knew enough to be genuinely concerned.
"Even so, this isn't professional-editor quality. It's about the same level as the stuff I was editing back when I first started."
She wasn't trying to tear anyone down. She just wanted Dayeon to succeed, which meant she wanted her to land an editor whose style fit and whose skills were solid. She'd always enjoyed Sense's videos, after all. That was exactly why she was saying this.
"Honestly, if we're talking about the video we're looking at right now, yeah."
Dayeon didn't push back. Fan or not, she was someone who kept her personal feelings and her professional judgment strictly separate.
"But watch this one."
She closed the fan video and pulled up something else.
"Oh, what's this? This is actually really clean. This is good."
Maybe it was the contrast with the rough fan edit they'd just watched, but the new video was polished — clean enough that with a little extra work, it could go up on YouTube as-is.
"And this one too."
The next video was the same. You could tell real care had gone into it. The cut points were clean, the subtitle style and BGM choices all felt right. And more than anything else...
"This is seriously fun."
It was the kind of video only someone who'd watched Dayeon for a long, long time could make — one that brought out her charm perfectly and was genuinely entertaining. Compared to Park Woojin's work, which they'd been stuck with for quite a while, the raw editing quality might have been a notch lower, but it captured Dayeon's appeal so much better that the videos were actually fun to watch. That part, Eunchae liked a lot.
"Sense edited these."
Eunchae couldn't believe her ears.
"What? Who? Who did you just say?"
"Sense. The same person who made the fan video we just watched."
"Holy shit. He could make stuff like this?"
Dayeon completely understood the startled swearing. She'd had the exact same reaction the first time she saw these — the jump in quality from the fan videos had been that shocking.
"He said he's been practicing a lot lately. Because he wants to be my editor."
Dayeon looked so proud of herself, like, see, this is more than good enough to hire, right?
"...Cute."
To Eunchae, she just looked like an adorable little fangirl.
"Hey. I told you not to stan me right in front of my face."
"Ah, sorry. The inner thoughts just slipped out. Ahem... Anyway, yeah, this is good. At this level, you could upload it with just a few tweaks!"
If he could produce videos at this quality, the slightly lower polish might not even matter — the views might actually go up.
"I should reach out. He lives nearby, too. I'll mention coming into the studio, but I have a feeling he'll want to work from home."
"Hm? Work from home? Why all of a sudden?"
Dayeon usually gave new hires a choice — come into the studio or work remotely. Coming in meant access to a high-end computer, after all.
"I want him to run into Park Woojin as little as possible."
She couldn't get rid of Park Woojin just yet. And she wasn't about to lose a brand-new editor — one who was also a fan she genuinely cherished — because of that guy.
"Ah... yeah. That's fair."
But Eunchae couldn't help the sharp pang of disappointment that hit her.
Man... I really wanted to know what he was like.
She'd thought this might be her chance — a self-proclaimed guy friend she could stan Dayeon with, and get up to all kinds of filthy things together. And Park Woojin had just torpedoed the whole thing.
God... is there seriously no way to get that bastard out of here...
