Let's Have a Round (1)
I strolled toward the convenience store, lost in thought. Jeong-eun—that woman already had some experience, so I figured she could handle it no matter how many rounds we went. Hell, we'd done it twice just last night. She sucked me off real nice too, with that subtle resistance that made it even hotter. But Iseo was different. She was a virgin, gave it up to me, so pounding her multiple times a day might be too much at first. Her hymen was busted now, so she'd need some recovery time anyway. Yeah. Once a day for her sounds right. Once she's adapted, body and soul hooked on me, we could ramp it up—maybe all day long.
Yeonsu and Hyeyoon? They're good to go anytime now. Part of it was probably the pleasure of being held by me, but they were also loving life in my shrine. The food selection was limited, sure, but we could make pretty much anything. The Ushabti handled all the work, and Sechem Yaret took care of their health. Hmm... maybe I should add more women. Nah. Don't rush it. Once I bring a woman into the shrine, give her plenty of time to fully adjust and depend on me completely. Expanding the harem's no issue for me—it's just making sure they rely on me totally afterward that takes time.
Thinking about this crap was kinda funny, honestly. Just a few weeks ago, I was on the brink of starving to death like anyone else. I chuckled to myself as I entered Gache-dong's shopping street.
Even from afar, it was obvious—the convenience store was packed with people. Plenty were outside too. Four or five guys lurking in a shadowy alley, out of sight, spotted me and freaked out, rushing inside like a herd. Soon the whole crowd poured out. Holy shit. How many was that? Thirty? Nah, easy forty. How the hell did that many fit in there? It was a decent-sized store, but still cramped as fuck.
I trudged closer, feeling a bit guilty for no reason. It was 1 p.m. now. We'd agreed to meet at 11, and I'd blown it by two hours. Why? Woke up, fucked all four women, chatted, joked around, ate—had a great morning. Totally spaced on the meeting. They'd been waiting at least two hours. Ugh. Sorry for being late... Nah, fuck that. I'm a god. If a god wants to bang some chicks and runs late, that's just how it goes. Protagonists always show up fashionably late, right? Time to act dignified.
"That's the god!"
"The god's here!"
"Imotep's arrived!"
The friendly uncles and aunties beamed with joy, while dozens of skeptical types eyed my dog mask like, What the fuck is that? They were split into clear groups—the contrast was hilarious.
"You've waited long. Rest easy now."
...No clue what they needed to rest easy about. They were anxious, so they wanted to meet me, right?
The skeletal leader auntie stepped forward. "Jeong-eun and her daughter didn't go with you, God? How are they doing?"
"They were badly weakened. But she could swallow egg porridge just fine."
Ooo...! Eggs...! Egg porridge...!
The murmurs rippled through the crowd.
"And I learned women love board games more than I thought. Yeonsu, Hyeyoon, and the two of them spend most of the day playing. They bathe several times a day too."
I was always sucking, licking, and creampieing them—couldn't skip baths. Plus, the Fountain of Life water was perfectly warm, felt amazing, and cycled crystal clear.
Ooo! Baths?! He said baths!
More whispers. The skeletal aunties and uncles, plus plenty of young guys and girls, still eyed me suspiciously. The leader auntie spoke. "That's... great to hear. Jeong-eun was always worried sick about her daughter dying. We saw Iseo was on her last legs too—no hope left. But meeting you saved her, and now she's thriving... incredible!"
A skeletal uncle chimed in. "And you've cleared most zombies around here, so we can move freely now. Truly grateful, God."
I did it to farm coins, but yeah, everyone benefited.
"Good. Glad you're more at ease. So, why'd you want to meet?"
"Well..."
The mood turned cautious. Believers or not, same uneasy faces. Glancing at each other. Leader auntie said, "We're... exhausted, God. We can't keep going."
Their faces turned pitiful—part acting, but real desperation shone through. She dropped to her knees, grabbed my hand with the spear...
...No need to go that far, auntie.
"We can't survive day by day, not knowing if zombies bite us today or starvation tomorrow. God, Imotep. You took Jeong-eun and her daughter. Please, take us too."
A few skeletal aunties and uncles knelt beside her. "Take us too."
"God! Please!"
"We'll die like this!"
......Hmm. These folks. If there's no hope, they adapt to reality. But they saw me—their hope—and now they can't let go.
...Damn. What to do? I still need more coins. Massacring humans isn't my style, and taking them all would definitely draw the Orc group's Daemo crew for a fight.
My mask hid my expression, but stroking my chin probably looked pensive. They gasped suddenly. Huh? Oh, I dropped the spear to touch my chin—it dissolved into sand right before their eyes. First time seeing it, so yeah, shocking. Whatever. I'm used to it; you're newbies.
"That said—"
Just hearing "that said" flashed disappointment in their eyes. To them, I'm their one shot. Rejection means back to the Orc building, scraping by miserably. The kneelers had seen me turn zombies to sand and heal people. The standers hadn't—but they trusted the kneelers believed I was real god. More than if I was legit, they cared if this improved their lives. I read it in their eyes, faces, glances.
Suddenly, the rest rushed forward, kneeling en masse.
"God! Help us!"
"It's so hard!"
"My kid's starving!"
They weren't fully convinced I was god, but since leaders called me that, maybe it'd help. Mixed with raw misery.
Humans. Spare a thought for me facing dozens of faces crammed with every emotion. Nah, my position means nothing to them. Everyone's pain comes first. And I'm god anyway. They trust the leaders who trust me.
"First, know this before begging. Understand the life you'd enter."
One thing's clear: my shrine—and my women there—come first. Not these people.
"Yes, God!"
"Tell us!"
Murmurs. Shut up. I motioned pressing down; silence fell.
"I lived as an ordinary man until the world ended. When it did, and humans couldn't survive alone, I felt compelled to emerge as god to revive civilization."
Right after nearly starving, but no need to share that.
"...Again?" someone muttered skeptically.
I boomed solemnly. "Look to history. Humans first kindled fire, built homes, used tools, hunted big game, survived harsh winters—guided by gods like me. Then villages, cities, civilization."
Bullshit? Who cares if it's true. Historians and evolutionists would flip, but screw them in this apocalypse.
"The world is destroyed now. My mission: guide humans to reclaim and flourish civilization. That's why gods walk among you again."
Silence. I paused dramatically, scanning them slowly—felt cinematic.
"Thus, my priestesses are paramount. They live directly in my shrine. They are the seeds to bloom human civilization anew—most precious. Even if you come, I can't care for you as I do them."
My speech was turning saggy-drama style—who knows why.
"You'll get homes. No zombies or monsters nearby. Safety guaranteed. But food and water? Forage yourselves."
"Ah..." Disappointed sighs. Add more.
"All food and water you gather is yours."
Heads snapped up. Eyes lit with life.
"If someone's starving, I'll give a bit. No water? Some from me. But expect limited amounts."
Sink's there. Fountain's for me and my girls. Sink water for them. Women don't use it anyway.
"G-God... how limited is 'not much' water...?"
"Like a faucet slightly open, always trickling. Crystal clear. But with your numbers, it'll run short. Share among foragers then. Possible?"
They eyed each other. Obviously yes. Keeping all they forage beats Daemo's crew by miles, plus extras from me. Paradise in this era.
