I plan to cover each party member one by one in the side stories, so I think they'll be longer than expected...
Looking back, it feels like an incredible amount of stuff happened.
It all started when a story I began writing casually got an unexpectedly huge amount of love.
The story drifted away from my original plan, a massive slump hit, and I even temporarily stopped serializing midway.
Then when I came back after three months and resumed posting, a plagiarized version of this work suddenly popped up out of nowhere.
...It's truly been a wild ride.
Even so, somehow, the protagonist who transmigrated into a pretty-girl game,
Jin Yu-ha, took down the Demon God, stopped the world's destruction, and brought things to a close.
And all of that is thanks to every single one of you who stuck with me all the way here.
It's all thanks to the readers.
I've read every single comment and every single sponsorship you've left for me over this time, and I've taken every one of them deeply to heart.
When I first started this story, I had no idea it would turn into such a long journey.
The characters sometimes went in directions I hadn't expected,
and my own lack of talent and wit made the plot so tangled that I spent many nights agonizing over it.
There were so many times I hit a wall like that,
(Way, way too many!)
But in the end, the only reason I could keep writing was all of you, the readers.
I'm sure there were so, so many moments as you followed this story where you thought, "Ugh, is this right?" or "No, what the hell is wrong with that jerk? So damn frustrating." But you still stuck with the story, kept showing it love, leaving comments, hitting recommend, even giving sponsorships.
Hah, really...
I've received way more love than I deserve.
Especially when I came back after stopping the serialization,
I doubt any words could fully express my gratitude to those of you who were still waiting for my work.
Without you, this story would have remained unfinished forever.
When I came back from the hiatus and wrote my apology notice, I made a quiet promise to myself: "Even if it turns out a garbage-level failure of a work, I will absolutely see it through to completion." I'm so, so happy I could keep that promise. And so today, I finally took down that apology notice I'd left up to keep reminding myself of that resolve!!!
Now it's time to say goodbye to these characters, to whom I've grown so attached in all kinds of ways.
