Tirga's Thunderous Test
The Nazi elves had given me a test. “Summon Tirga.” The moment the words left my mouth, dark clouds suddenly gathered in the sky, and a massive bolt of lightning crashed to the ground. When the smoke cleared, Tirga stood there with her hammer slung over her shoulder. Wait a second—wasn’t that her original size? I told her to shrink down, and only then did she reduce herself to human proportions. What a loud and terrifying entrance. Trying to call one summon was going to draw an insane amount of aggro.
“Hey, Tirga……”
“What is it, Master? Weren’t you supposed to be fooling around with those elves?”
“Not a chance. That was strictly business. Here, I brought some drinks and food.”
“Hmm, is that so?”
Right on cue, her stomach let out a loud growl. With a resigned sigh, she accepted the alcohol and provisions. Watching her eat like a true warrior filled me with an odd sense of pride. She devoured everything, then rubbed her belly with satisfaction.
“A rather excellent meal. *Kkeueuk*.”
“Tirga, have you ever seen orcs before?”
“You mean those blue-skinned, foul-tempered, ugly pigs? I’ve seen them, yes.”
“Good. I need your strength. The elves gave me a request to wipe out an orc settlement.”
Her eyes sparkled with interest. Tirga was definitely a battle maniac. She immediately urged me to go crush the ugly bastards. Following the map the elf platoon leader had provided, we found a fairly large encampment. No way the two of us could handle that many.
“That damn elf gave us a shitty test.”
“What do you mean, Master?”
“Look at how many orcs there are. A normal adventurer or mercenary would never win against that number.”
“But war and battle aren’t decided by numbers alone, are they?”
She was right. With Tirga’s power, that orc horde could be wiped out in an instant. Why bother overthinking it? I gave the order to annihilate them, and she was more than eager. Her body swelled in an instant until she towered over the orcs—maybe four or five meters tall. Smaller than her true form, but size didn’t matter. That was the point.
“W-what the hell is that giant human?!”
“Enemy! An enemy has appeared!”
The orc camp descended into chaos at the sudden appearance of the giant. Electricity crackled along Tirga’s hammer as she smashed through the orcs, sending them flying. It wasn’t so much a battle as her toying with them. She could have flattened the entire camp with a single swing or kick, but she deliberately held back to enjoy herself. It reminded me of high-level players running dungeons with nothing but underwear and trash weapons.
I quietly followed behind the rampaging Tirga. The orcs tried to resist with their weapons, but none of their attacks could even scratch her.
“What the hell is this giant?! What do you want?!”
“Nothing. Just die.”
“Crazy bitch……”
The orc who spat curses at her had his head crushed by her hammer and died instantly. Overwhelmed by the giantess’s power, the orc horde lost their will to fight and fled, abandoning their weapons.
“Don’t let a single one escape, Tirga.”
“Understood, Master.”
She raised one hand to the sky. Black clouds formed, and lightning rained down on the fleeing orcs. No matter how fast they ran, they couldn’t outrun thunder. Her power was terrifying. Even the throwing weapons and arrows the orcs launched were neutralized by her electricity. Thanks to Tirga’s overwhelming strength, countless orcs were turned into electric-roasted chickens. Watching that made me crave rotisserie chicken for the first time in a while. I couldn’t make proper fried chicken here, but rotisserie should be possible in this world.
Just then, a heavily charred orc struggled to its feet and called out to me.
“*Keueuk*… Why… why are you doing this……?”
“There’s still a living orc. Tough bastard.”
“We only settled here to survive. We never harmed humans or anyone else… So why this massacre?”
“The elves in those black uniforms told me to kill you.”
“What? The Silvareich Empire’s Imperial Guard? We already lost our homeland because of those bitches, and now they want our lives too?!”
The orc let out a furious roar and charged at me with an axe. I reflexively thrust out my hand, and a blue bolt of lightning shot from my palm, frying the orc on the spot.
What the hell? That was clearly Tirga’s ability, not mine. It wasn’t strange for a summoner to wield a summon’s power, but……
“What just happened?”
> Simple. Because you absorbed a portion of her abilities by sharing intimacy with the SSS-rank summon Tirga. It is not permanent, however. When the energy is depleted, you must recharge it through physical contact once more.
This was an unexpected bonus. For someone like me who was basically a corpse without summons, having a self-defense measure was incredibly useful. Since I had to do *that* with Tirga anyway to give her orders, it was like hitting two birds with one stone. The orc struck by my lightning collapsed to its knees and breathed its last. The smell of burning flesh filled my nose. The camp burned, and not a single orc remained alive. I searched the area but found nothing worth looting. No fun in farming at all.
“Master, I’ve eliminated them all as ordered.”
“Good work, Tirga.”
I reached out and patted her head. Petting a woman taller than me looked a bit ridiculous, but the gesture mattered more than the optics. She smiled brightly, and a lewd desire stirred inside me. I wanted to paint that face with pleasure.
“Tirga, want to rest here for a bit before we go?”
“As you wish, Master.”
To a modern person, “rest here for a bit” was basically code for sex. Luckily, we found an undamaged tent and bed on the outskirts of the camp. I laid her fur cloak over the bed and laid her down on it. I fondled her large, beautiful breasts and shared a deep kiss. Naturally, we stripped each other bare, pressed our bodies together, and felt each other’s racing heartbeats.
“Aah, Master…… There……”
Tirga was my strongest asset and currently my only companion and summon. If I didn’t do this, I couldn’t give her orders, so if I couldn’t avoid it, I might as well enjoy it. Besides, if she was going to get fucked anyway, it was better that I did it first. A man’s instincts were hard to resist. Even after losing consciousness during sex with this woman, here I was doing it again.
After we finished our business in the tent, we stepped outside.
“Master, someone is watching us from over there.”
“Where? I don’t see anyone.”
A spear-shaped bolt of lightning formed in Tirga’s hand and shot toward the bushes. An elf wearing a pointed helmet and black coat tumbled out. How had Tirga known an elf was hiding there? Was it a strong person’s intuition?
“What are you doing hiding there, elf?”
“I was merely observing whether you completed the mission properly.”
“Oh? Then you must have seen my master and I getting hot and heavy too.”
“T-that is……”
The elf looked extremely flustered. *That perverted bitch saw everything.* Not that it mattered. I had completed the task Ranea assigned me, and now it was time to demand my reward. Taking out dozens of orcs between the two of us should at least be worth a ten-pull, right? Well, Tirga did all the work, but she was still my summon.
“Guide us to your commander, elf. We have something to discuss regarding compensation.”
“A-ah, understood.”
We arrived at the city barracks. This was probably where the black-uniformed elves were stationed. The facilities weren’t bad—maybe there was no defense industry corruption in the elf empire after all. But was it okay for an outsider and civilian to just waltz into a military facility like this? Ah, right. I was a mercenary, so it didn’t matter.
The scouting elf led us to the platoon leader’s office—or whatever passed for one here.
“Platoon Leader, I’ve brought the mercenaries. May we enter?”
“Come in.”
“As promised, we wiped out every last orc. Now let’s talk about compensation.”
There had been nothing worth looting from the orc camp, so I needed to squeeze as much money out of them as possible. Ranea pulled a pouch of silver coins from her desk drawer and offered it to me. This was ridiculous. It made no sense in any world!
“I’m disappointed, elf platoon leader.”
“Disappointed? What do you mean, mercenary?”
“I mean we went through hell wiping out nearly a company’s worth of orcs, and this is all we get? The pay is way too low. At the very least, I expect gold coins.”
“But this was the agreed-upon reward, was it not?”
“It was, but you never mentioned the scale of the orc force. This compensation is unacceptable compared to the effort involved.”
The scout elf flared up, calling me an arrogant human, but Tirga grabbed the elf’s shoulder and pressed her thumb into the collarbone. She didn’t forget to add a short, blunt warning to stay quiet. Nice, Tirga. Strictly speaking, the initiative was on my side. I didn’t know how strong this elf was, but standing right next to me was a monster who had turned adventurers into pulp in seconds.
“Soldier, is it true that these two mercenaries annihilated the orcs?”
“Yes, Platoon Leader.”
“Hmm…… Very well. I underestimated the situation. So, how much do you want?”
I boldly raised both hands and spread all ten fingers. Ten gold. That was my strong will. The platoon leader looked troubled. Maybe my price was too high?
“The amount you’re asking is absurd.”
“Is it? If your Imperial Guard had fought the orcs, you would have suffered significant casualties. Compared to that, what I’m asking seems trivial.”
“You have a point.”
We negotiated, and while I didn’t get the full ten gold, I managed to secure four. Okay, four gold—thank you! I picked up one gold coin and bit it lightly. Ugh, didn’t taste like much. I’d earned a decent amount, but it still wasn’t enough for a ten-pull. Doing single pulls would hurt my pride, so I’d have to save up more and go for the ten-pull later.
