The Tentacle-Loving Admin's Dream
One of the Padaks managing the average Isekai Survival Gallery.
‘StickyThingLover’
She uses this unique, archaic style of speech and posts or comments frequently on the gallery, making her one of the more well-known named admins among the Padaks.
But judging by her use of "this lady" she seems to be a woman.
"A tentacle dungeon..."
For a split second, I felt a dizzying vertigo, but that was just my pickled brain reacting on its own.
The lewd demon in my head was making me think in that direction, but there had to be another reason.
Jumping to conclusions like that would be rude to her.
Maybe ‘StickyThingLover’ just needs tentacle-type monsters? For research... or perhaps they're easy to hunt due to type advantages?
This is a shelter without oceans, so maybe she just craves seafood like squid or octopuses.
‘Yeah, most monster hunting in the shelter is for food anyway.’
That seemed like a solid possibility.
Thinking about it made me crave some too. Squid and octopus.
‘Man, I want some fried squid...’
"Slurp..."
My reply took a while, so ‘StickyThingLover’—‘StickyGood’ for short—asked me directly.
Tentacle dungeon... My rotten brain couldn't help but entertain some steamy thoughts.
But seafood didn't sound bad either.
‘Could work as a new dungeon concept...?’
"Ahem... She really likes them that much? Well, sure, not everyone likes cephalopods even if they love seafood."
I'd heard that in some Western inland areas without oceans, people don't eat squid or octopus.
I think I saw a YouTube video once where foreigners recoiled at san-nakji because of the cephalopod looks.
‘Raw san-nakji is a bit much for me too.’
Anyway. Making the dungeon sounds good, but there's one issue.
She's so confident... she must really have some serious skills. Maybe the average Padak is that high-level.
Currently, no shelter dungeons have tentacle mobs. No way to get materials at all.
While messing around on the gallery, the thing I'd researched most was dungeon monsters.
Not just strengths and weaknesses, but average market prices for materials—anything useful for dungeon creation had become routine for me.
Of course, I'd skimmed every monster in shelter dungeons during that.
No post from any shelter mentioned tentacle-type monsters.
In other words, a tentacle dungeon is impossible right now.
There might be some in uncharted deep layers... but...
‘Even that's uncertain.’
As I concluded a tentacle dungeon was off the table...
Preserved? Ah, dried, probably. Or some magical treatment—could last ten years easy.
‘She grabbed that much while evacuating to the shelter... she really loves them...’
Hmm... cephalopods aren't that niche, I thought.
But that's from my transmigrator perspective. Maybe they're fringe ingredients here.
How much does she love cephalopods?
Her enthusiasm makes dungeon-making feel rewarding.
Curiosity about this high-average-seeming Padak.
If it's too personal, I'll drop it.
Sounds like she grew up as a flower in a greenhouse.
‘StickyGood must be from the shelter's upper crust.’
But couldn't she just eat what she wanted? Weird family rules...?
Questions keep piling up.
Work...? I'm living the sweet NEET life selling tickets.
Me? Work?
"...Nah."
...Yeah, neighbors might wonder how a jobless guy keeps getting coins.
Management Office too: "How's this unemployed dude paying taxes?"
Thanks to Joodak bro, my safety's somewhat secured, but avoiding suspicion seems smart.
Hmm... Open a shop, hire part-timers to run it on autopilot? That could work.
I'd never even considered that. Padaks really are on another level. Always indebted to the admins.
Haha, tentacle comrades...?
Drooling... I did drool thinking of fried squid.
...Not eaten?
Something's off... I'd been ignoring the growing dissonance, but!!
Even an oblivious guy like me realized something was wrong.
"St...still, just to be sure, let me check..."
No way... no way...
Gulp.
The dizzying content made me close the chat window for a moment.
My head hurts... Is this how Joodak bro felt looking at me?
Ugh... my head...
"Your order... Oh, sir, are you okay...? You're sweating buckets..."
The server eyed my pallor with concern.
"I-I'm... f-fine, no... problem..."

‘What... what do I even do with this...?’
Faced with this unbelievable reality, I squeezed my eyes shut.
One person was plummeting the Padak average in real time.
