The Vatican Threat
Nero’s condition looked dire at a glance—sweat and blood mingled across her body, with dirt clinging messily on top. Cradling her small frame carefully in both arms, I followed the President at a brisk pace toward Undine’s containment chamber, glancing down anxiously at her several times along the way.
“...”
Feeling the small, light life trembling weakly in my arms, a surge of fierce emotion toward those who had done this to Nero rose within me. It didn’t last long, though. Her heartbeat was far weaker than usual, so worry and impatience quickly overtook everything else.
And then… after how many frantic steps, we finally arrived.
[ RL.6 - UNDINE ]
“It’s been a while, Undine. Sorry for dropping by so suddenly, but I need you to heal someone.”
I’d visited a few times before, yet the sheer size of the containment chamber still overwhelmed me. The ceiling was so high I had to crane my neck, and the space beneath the lights was completely filled by her form. The fact that she was even sitting down made it all the more astonishing.
Her smooth body, glowing with a calm blue light like the surface of water and sparkling under the illumination, rippled as if noticing her visitors and leaned forward. Her long, sticky blue hair and the impossibly massive breasts that swayed and hung down with natural gravity made me draw in an involuntary breath even in this situation.
‘Ah… the President has come again. And the child she’s holding…’
I only snapped back to attention after her inner voice reminded me that I was still holding Nero.
“Nero first… Please, take care of this child first!”
“My side isn’t urgent, so heal the cat first. You’re only asking to heal her wounds, right?”
When the President double-checked that it was healing rather than digestion, I became aware of a new danger to the unconscious Nero. Still, I’d already received her help several times, and her inner voice had always been kind and gentle. In the end, I held out the battered Nero toward her.
Her arm moved slowly, lowering a palm large enough to serve as a bed right in front of me. Without needing to hear her voice, I understood she wanted me to place Nero on it.
Gulp…
The moment I laid Nero on her transparent palm, she sank inside and was drawn up her arm, deep into her body, as if being swallowed by a snake. Only after she was pulled all the way to what could be called her abdomen and fully engulfed did the movement stop.
By the time she reached that point, most of the dirt and blood on Nero’s body had already been removed. Now I could finally see her clearly, submerged as if underwater.
“Nero…”
The thought that this was all because of her useless master made my chest tighten, but the relief of having passed the crisis left me completely drained.
“Since she went in alive, there’s nothing to worry about now.”
“...”
The President patted my shoulder. Perhaps because I finally believed Nero would be all right, the pain in my neck and especially around my chest began to throb sharply now that the adrenaline had faded.
“..?!”
No… this hurts too much. It really hurts.
“Ugh, argh..!”
The pain I hadn’t noticed while my head was burning hot now bloomed intensely in my chest. My legs gave out and I collapsed forward.
Squish…!
Instead of the hard floor, I felt a soft, yielding sensation. I had fallen right onto Undine’s hand, which had stretched out near my feet.
“Thank you… huh?”
Before I could even finish expressing my gratitude, I looked down and realized my clothes were dissolving fiber by fiber into her body. I reflexively tried to pull away, but her sticky form had already drawn me halfway inside.
“I’ll prepare new clothes for you, so just stay comfortable.”
“Mm… Yes, understood.”
“Looks like a few ribs are broken too… Undine? I have something to discuss with this guy for a moment, so could you leave his head out?”
‘…I’ll do that. Hehe, it’s not difficult.’
Nod, nod.
Plop. Plop.
When she nodded as if understanding, droplets of viscous liquid fell from her hair, which hung like a frozen waterfall. The way the fallen droplets moved on their own and returned to her body was also strange and fascinating.
“Huh…?”
Gurgle…
I felt as if my body was being lifted, and before I knew it, Undine had clenched her hand around me like a fist at the President’s request, swallowing me completely except for my head.
It was embarrassing, like being caught in a giant monster’s grasp, but what was even more embarrassing was that my clothes had already been completely digested, leaving not a single scrap of fabric on my body.
The President didn’t seem to care at all, but standing naked in front of someone of the opposite sex wasn’t something I could be indifferent about. Moreover, Undine’s slippery body wrapped tightly around my bare skin felt so good that, even though I’d experienced it before, I couldn’t stop a moan from escaping.
“Hnn… ah.”
At first it was cold and squishy, but the gel-like sensation gently enveloped me, absorbing my body heat and spreading warmth pleasantly inside. The fortunate thing was that once I relaxed and surrendered my body, the pain disappeared completely.
‘Doesn’t it hurt anymore? Thank you for always feeding me so deliciously and filling me up every time you come…’
“Hah, ah…”
Her large thumb gently stroked the top of my head in a strange but pleasant way.
“This makes me jealous. Undine, do me too. As you can see, I only hurt my hand, so no need to swallow me whole. Just like I asked before… hehe.”
‘Ah… The President prefers this side.’
I didn’t know exactly what she preferred, but what happened next was truly surprising.
Plop, plop…
Drip…
When she slightly lowered her head, the long blue liquid dripping from her hair to the floor gradually began to take shape.
“Ah… that’s it.”
It soon formed a figure that looked like a scaled-down version of Undine with human proportions and began moving independently. The difference was that while Undine herself was naked, this clone wore a single, transparent dress that looked as if melted chocolate had been poured over her shoulders. Even so, one thing remained unchanged—though her body was smaller, her breasts were still large enough to draw the President’s gaze.
“Uhehe, the dress itself is nice, but this pointless little dress really sets my chest on fire.”
With a rather vulgar laugh that seemed to confess it was the President who had given such a specific and unnecessary order for the dress, she reached out without hesitation and placed her bloodied hand on the clone’s chest. At first she caressed the surface gently, then pushed her hand deep inside and began moving it around.
“Uhyaaa…”
The President continued to stir her hand inside the slippery body, letting out satisfied moans. I wasn’t sure if this was the right way to put it, but the sight of that hand moving restlessly inside Undine’s transparent body was quite lewd. She was only submerging her hand to avoid dissolving her clothes, but if left like this any longer, she looked ready to forget about clothes entirely and dive in.
“..Ah, right. I was too absorbed.”
Finally noticing my staring gaze, the President walked the clone over to me while still freely moving her hand inside it, and finally said what I had been waiting for.
“As promised, I’ll tell you if you have questions. But remember—this is only because you asked.”
“..Is there some kind of difference?”
“Of course there is. The big difference is that I didn’t drag you in—you stepped in yourself.”
This meant I would have to accept whatever came after hearing the answer. If I said I wasn’t scared by that somewhat irresponsible tone, it would be a lie, but backing out now would be ridiculous.
“I need to know why Nero had to go through this.”
“Her name is Nero? She’s certainly in a rather ambiguous position right now.”
The President looked at Nero, still swallowed inside Undine’s stomach, and gave a dry chuckle. It was the usual reaction when seeing something troublesome.
“What do you mean by ambiguous position?”
“Whether we should consider her on that side or this side is ambiguous.”
“This side” clearly referred to Eunrang Art Museum, where I worked as a counselor. Then…
“What exactly does ‘that side’ mean?”
“Is that also a question?”
“..Yes, it is.”
When I confirmed it again, the President lowered her head as if she had no choice and shook it left and right a couple of times. Then she raised her head and looked straight at me. When I didn’t avoid her gaze that seemed to ask if I really wanted to know, she showed her trademark refreshing smile and answered in a playful tone.
“What we’re dealing with is God.”
Despite the light, almost joking tone that sounded completely casual, the content was absurd.
“..??”
“Jesus, oh my God, understand?”
Even though I had clearly heard the President’s words with both ears, my head seemed overloaded and I couldn’t understand right away. Nothing was as vague as the concept of God. What helped shrink the scale of the opponent, which had suddenly grown far too large to handle in my mind, was the President’s next dissatisfied voice.
“More precisely, those who follow God’s will. Those damn Vatican bastards.”
A massive religion with over 1.3 billion followers worldwide…
“They are our true enemies.”
The President spoke firmly, calling them the main enemy.
