Woman Lee Jua
Lee Jua manipulated her character and began wandering around the inside of the toy factory.
"Looks like we've entered the factory. But it's totally abandoned now. Give me two days, and I could demolish the whole thing. Why leave it like this instead of tearing it down?"
"Nah, no way. The vibe here's fresh and nice. Oh, there's still toys left here. They must've picked the clean ones during demolition and sold 'em off. Abandoned factory means discontinued products, right? Premium prices easy."
"Tape? You mean pick this up? Got it. Oh, there's something over there that looks like a video player. Pop it in, right?"
Lee Jua inserted the tape she'd picked up into the player, and the TV started playing. It was just static noise visually, but thankfully the audio came through.
If you're watching this tape, you're an intruder.
We take pride not just in our high-quality toys, but in our security too. This facility is packed with devices that alert the authorities the moment they're triggered. And that's just a fraction of our security system.
"Hmm... that's the gist of it."
"What? I can handle this level of English. Uh... it said I'm an intruder, bragged about their top-notch factory security... gave a warning, so if I turn back now, it's not too late. Basically, wise to GTFO for my own safety?"
"Anyway... it says GTFO, so should I? Can't ignore warnings as an intruder."
The viewers showed no mercy. Unknowingly pouting her lips, Lee Jua eventually moved her character again.
"Walls and floor are all colorful. Posters on the walls... this way, I guess?"
Pretending to admire her surroundings while vigilantly scanning all four directions, Lee Jua reached the door. A keypad in nine colors was mounted to the left of it.
"Gotta solve this to open the door, right? Obvious. A gaming genius like me figures it out instantly."
"I didn't just poke around randomly. I was checking the length. Four digits, right? I'm not an idiot. I calculate and plan everything."
Lee Jua turned her character back to the previous room.
"Toy train here earlier, right? Remember it had four cars. All colorful. So train colors are the code? Obvious. Pipi Playtime is fully read by me. Too easy—wanna quit now?"
Lee Jua went to the train, noted the colors, inputted them on the keypad, and the door opened.
Inside the opened room were rows of chairs and monitors showing CCTV feeds lining the walls. And on one desk, a blue video tape.
"Another video? What, is this an English listening test game...?"
It was a video explaining how to use the Grab Pack. After watching, Lee Jua grabbed the one nearby, fiddled with it to get the controls and feel, then set off again.
Welcome to Pipi Playtime. Tutorial over—time for the real game.
"Alright, bros, looks like the real deal starts now. Solve everything by yanking shit with these blue gloves."
Lee Jua shot her palm into the air ping-ping as she advanced. Mechanical arm launch and retract sounds echoed nonstop.
Ignoring the chat mockery, Lee Jua entered the next area. A massive sliding door had a blue hand scanner above it. She extended the new blue Grab Pack to the scanner; with a mechanical beep, the door opened.
"Oh... high ceiling here. H-beams for the frame—solid build like a proper factory."
Habitually scanning ceiling and pillars, Lee Jua assessed the structure. Then her gaze locked in the center of the hall.
"..."
Atop a massive platform in the hall's center stood a horrific furry doll at least 3 meters tall, looming silently. Bright blue fur, freakish limbs, huge red lips, unfocused creepy eyes.
"...Fuckin' hell."
Polygons or not, its appearance overwhelmed. Instinctual disgust kicked in. Lee Jua's face twisted.
"Ugly as shit... Why park that in the toy factory lobby? Trying to make kids piss themselves?"
She spam-left-clicked, smacking Huggy Wuggy's belly and face with the blue hand. Smack smack echoed through the hall.
Lee Jua snorted, blustered it wasn't scary, and began exploring. The door to the next area was locked tight, power cut off.
"Power first. This room?"
Lee Jua entered the power control room beside Huggy Wuggy. The puzzle was simple: Grab Pack to snag current ports, wrap around two pillars, connect to main switch.
"Oh, wiring shit. Learned electrical basics on the job too. Careful not to strip insulation—plug it right in!"
Vrrr—! Thunk! Lights blazed on across the main hall.
"Easy, right? This ain't horror—it's escape room in an abandoned factory."
Leisurely swinging the mouse to show outside the control room, the main hall.
"Alright, tell that blue-headed fuck to move so we can—"
Lee Jua's voice cut off mid-air.
On screen, the brightly lit main hall was empty. The 3-meter blue doll that'd been standing there? Gone.
Empty platform. And beside it, a vent door that'd been closed before now yawned open creepily.
"Uh...?"
A dumb noise leaked from Lee Jua's mouth. Goosebumps rose all over.
"Shit... where'd it go?"
