Content Roulette: Viewers Pick My Next Game
Content. Content. For a total newbie like me just starting out with streaming, even deciding on content was a trial and a torment.
Honestly, I'd be fine just sticking to Battlelands. But... without stuff like Nari Land, Jonghyun's Factory, Odin's Kill Bets, official Battlelands tourneys, clan scrims, events, or big-corp streamers exploring Battlelands, the reality is you'd be stuck outside the top 10 in Prism's popular categories. A game that once hit over 40% PC bang market share met its pathetic end. If they'd just managed it well, cracked down on cheaters, and delivered what gamers wanted, Battlelands would've still been king. But they chased cash with this skin, that skin, tossed gun balance to the dogs, let hacks run wild, and ran the whole thing into the ground. And that bullshit "innocent ban" system where they couldn't even catch real cheaters but hammered legit players? Yeah, that helped kill it too.
Truth is, Battlelands is on its last legs now. Just old-timers and toxic vets running the show, no newbies coming in. Returning players are the only influx. Since I've always played Battlelands, my streams are guaranteed a solid floor—no studying or practice needed. A game where I can just flex raw skill. It's like my cash cow. But I can't stream Battlelands forever. Especially not when it's steadily following the dead-game playbook.
I'd have to branch out eventually. To chase those peaks, to become a true big-leaguer, I needed to widen the net—other games, other content. I knew that even before I started streaming.
That's why I registered my studio under the Comprehensive Gaming category.
So today's stream title? [Comprehensive Gamer Lee Jua Here.] A bold declaration of my identity. My theme. My streamer self. Comprehensive gamer. Everyone's gonna freak, but I'm not a Battlelands streamer.

The second I went live, over a hundred viewers flooded in.
As expected, viewers were shocked by the title and started spamming chat. Betrayed that "Battlelands streamer Lee Jua" wasn't a thing anymore.
Viewers broke 400 in the meantime.
Drag— I pulled my 29,000-won mic closer—the now-signature sound of Lee Jua streams.
Viewers reacted just as predictably.
But this cozy signature sound? Last day for it. Viewers might miss it, but... no choice. Upgrading to better mic and gear is streamer duty.
"Big bros, I bought a mic and monitor. Ordered today, should arrive tomorrow. This cozy sound's done after today..."
"...That's what I wanted to talk about."
Last week's streams were pure luck. Random cheater drama pulled aggro. Squadded with Odin and Zeus outta nowhere. Crushed Nari Land as 2-Tier. But to truly level up as a streamer, I needed to hook viewers with my skill, my talk, my charm alone.
"This is Lee Jua. Can't play Battlelands forever as a comprehensive gamer, right? So today, I'm giving you the chance to pick my next game."
"Nah, big bros, you'd hurt my feelings saying that. I set the category to Comprehensive Gaming when I made the Prism studio. Sure, started Battlelands-heavy, but... my essence is comp gaming."
"...Huh?"
What the hell? I frantically opened the studio window... and yeah, viewers were right. Category was Battlelands. I'd set it to Comprehensive at launch, though... This was Prism's conspiracy. Publ (Battlelands' corp) scheming to trap me in their ecosystem after my quick rise.
My rolling brain spat out an escape: Click— Submarine category patch done. Back to Comprehensive Gamer Lee Jua.
"Must've misread. It's Comprehensive here?"
Only then did I notice from chat—my monitor was streaming live. Category tweak broadcast in real-time. Me, making that mistake? Must be lingering period cramps. These damn hormones frying my brain. No wonder the headache; my neurons dying.
"Uh... I just started streaming, what happened?"
I ignored the chat noise and pushed on.
"Hello, comprehensive gamer Lee Jua here. So recommend games for me to play."
Chat turned into chaos, everyone shilling their faves: FPS, horror, mindbreak shitgames, souls, RPGs...
Indies only they know, roguelikes, every trash game, even unreleased titles. All as predicted. This heat. This debate. Time for streamer traffic control to boost quality and bloom capitalism.
Debating with viewers to pick? Noob. "Fight for it yourselves"? Mid. "Yep, spinning the roulette." God-tier.
Right before launch, I'd bookmarked a roulette site. Popped it up.
"Like our democracy, fair roulette? No fighting."
"Rules simple: Write game you want, each donation adds slots. Min 5,000 won tho. Too many 1,000 punches slow us down, sorry. 10 mins only, then spin."
My pro donation bait had them cursing but wallets opening.
Baegaller donated 25,000 won!
"Battlelands 5 slots. Deal's a deal"
JuaMyWaifu donated 30,000 won!
"Horror = Pipi Playtime. 6 slots for now"
PorkBellyAuntie donated 10,000 won!
"Jar Game 2 slots. Wanna see mental breakdown cursing"
YuraStan donated 20,000 won!
"Yura tutorial 4 slots extra!"
"...Yura tutorial? ...Adding it for now."
Was that a mistake?
OhThen donated 20,000 won!
"Airball 4 slots"
MeTooThen donated 10,000 won!
"Airball 2 slots"
Airball slots piling up.
ThisIsChance donated 50,000 won!
"Terminal 10 slots btw Terminal Dance not highway terminal bullshit"
Requesting some unknown "Terminal" dance now.
FuckItWhatever donated 100,000 won!
"Strip stream 20 slots"
Now stripping too.
"FuckItWhatever, thanks for the huge donation—congrats on your first ban in my stream. For refund: photocopy of resident ID, driver's license, house deed, bank statements in your name, family registry, income/property declaration, 30k-word apology essay."
"And everyone... this is game roulette, no airball or dance reqs... I'll keep the donation, no slot. FYI."
Still, the content-about-content stream was a smash hit.
