Peach Sisters
"Peach Sisters?"
"You don't know the Peach Garden Oath? Under the peach tree! Just like that!"
"Not bad. What do you think, Unnie?"
"We obviously have to! The names alone are Yubi, Gwan U, and Jang Bi—Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei!"
Jang Bihye raised her voice as she laid out every reason they simply had to found the Peach Girls. A Romance of the Three Kingdoms nut? Open my mouth and all I'd get was someone calling me a fossil with nothing to slap on a concept but Three Kingdoms, plus a verdict that it wasn't even funny. That remark never made it past my lips. The two of them already looked completely sold, and a tagalong newbie follows the vote. What else was I supposed to do? This was just how you survived in society.
Bzzzzt—
"Oh, drinks are up! I'll grab 'em!"
Thrilled, it seemed, at the founding of the Peach Girls, Jang Bihye shot toward the counter like she had wings.
"Glasses high!"
"Whoa."
"Ah..."
The moment we lifted them, every eye in the café swung our way.
"Respectfully: though our surnames differ, Mo Yubi, Gwan Uri, and Jang Bihye do hereby found the Peach Sisters! We cannot pray to be born in the same hour of the same day, yet we wish to die in the same hour of the same day! Clink! Cheers!"
How does she just walk around with that memorized? She really did love Three Kingdoms. My americano, Bihye's peppermint tea, and Uri's caramel macchiato—buried under every extra the menu allowed—knocked together in midair.
Why had I dropped into a world like this just to do things like this? And right on cue, the café itself was named Dowon. Peach Garden. She'd aimed for it. A hundred percent. I had been swept straight into a scheme the two of them had wanted from the start: the founding of the Peach Sisters.
"Since we made the Peach Sisters anyway, we should assign roles, right? I'm the cute little youngest, obviously?"
Jang Bihye pressed a finger to her cheek and put on her best adorable act. If Uri had tried it I might have wanted to smack the back of her head, but Bihye, who looked young for her age, was actually kind of fun to watch.
"Mm. Bihye's the youngest."
"Bihye? So cold. Call me Bibi!"
"Then naturally Unnie Yubi is the eldest, and I am the second."
Why does it have to line up like that? Did the order have to match too? We weren't actually sworn brothers. Whatever. As long as it was fun.
"We're doing a crew-founding stream too, right?"
"Shouldn't we ask the CEO about that?"
"Then I'll just ask."
Bihye's follow-through was genuinely terrifying.
"The CEO said we can!"
Like CEO, like streamer. She had wrung permission out of Zhuge Myeonghui in a flash. Why was every decision around here this fast? And just like that, the Peach Sisters were slapped together on a whim. Adult streamers had crews, sure. I was less sure any of them had been founded quite this seat-of-the-pants.
"So what are we talking about? Do you like Three Kingdoms, Big Sis Yubi? Our unnie's into it."
"Uh, about as much as anybody else?"
"Oh, okay."
She really had jumped straight to whether I liked Three Kingdoms.
Sssslurp—
She wet her throat with the iced peppermint tea and fired the next question.
"You like dirty stuff?"
"Cough! Cough, cough!"
Why is she coming in that hot?
"Th-this too, about as much as anybody...?"
"Anyway, you're an adult streamer, so liking it is better for your mental health. Our unnie is super into it."
"That's right. A true adult streamer has to get herself off twice a day."
Gwan Uri, preaching some bizarre bullshit philosophy. Anyone listening would think adult streamers spent all three hundred and sixty-five days of the year in heat. ...No. That might already be the image.
"Got any fetishes? Tastes that aren't like other people's?"
Bihye was no easier to deal with than Uri. Did she not realize the three of us had only just met?
"Can we not do a normal question? Do you have to ask only the pervert stuff?"
"What are you, from the Joseon dynasty, Big Sis Yubi? Look around. Nobody thinks we're weird."
If I'd overheard a conversation like this back in the era my past self had lived through, I would have been sneaking glances. A world this open about sex. Was I supposed to like it? An adult streamer probably should, but it was still embarrassing. Back when I'd had to fire up a VPN every time I watched porn, I'd thought it would be nice if things loosened up a little. Now that I had actually woken up in a world like that, I was ashamed. That didn't mean I disliked it here. There was more material I could legally get off to, and I was making money squeezing breast milk, wasn't I?
"So what do you like? Personally, I like huge dicks. Not your everyday monster cock—the kind that makes your lower belly bulge when it's in. I like creampies, too."
"I hate dicks. I like pussy. I want to marry a pretty woman with big breasts."
"Hmph. Who doesn't know our unnie is a lesbian and a face-chaser."
Gwan Uri had gone red, and she was looking at me. Both of them had their tastes locked in hard. I had thought I was ordinary until now. Maybe if I kept streaming, I'd find what I actually liked.
"What about you, Big Sis Yubi?"
"What about you, Unnie?"
Having machine-gunned their own preferences, Uri and Bihye turned on me. Whether I named a taste in men or a taste in women, it probably wouldn't matter. I wanted nothing to do with that whole corrupted-into-a-woman fetish, so I'd just toss them a rough ideal type.
"A woman with big breasts, wide hips, a cute face, and a body so outrageous the gap between the two is ridiculous?"
"Mm. I believe I have a fair idea of what kind of woman you like, Unnie."
"You're a narcissist."
The two of them snickered, eyes on me.
"What? Why?"
"Look in a mirror."
I glanced at the window without thinking. A woman with exactly the looks I had just described was staring back at me. All I had done was recite the heroine design from the TS novels I liked. This was unfair. Three days ago, this had not been my face.
"I'm just ordinary, okay?"
"And an ordinary person does an ahegao double peace on her very first stream?"
"Th-that was because Miss Uri's tentacles..."
I whispered at Uri to say something—anything—while jabbing her in the side.
"There is one fact Unnie does not know."
"What?"
"Unnie has a sensitive constitution, Bibi."
"A sensitive constitution is nice. You can get your nipples up fast, right?"
A sensitive constitution. I had thought I felt things more keenly than when I'd had a man's body. The reason I'd gotten sensitive was that I'd drunk breast milk with an effect that raised sexual energy. I couldn't exactly say that. I was going to die of frustration.
Then a hand slid across the table.
"Anyway, I like you, Big Sis Yubi. Let's stay close for a long, long time."
Jang Bihye held her hand out.
"Yeah. Let's be close."
I took the hand she offered. It was warm. Just like the dick she pulled out of herself.
"AAAAH!"
"You scared me. Why are you screaming?"
"Ah, it's nothing..."
Why did the dick dildo from the adult toy set Zhuge Myeonghui gave me just flash through my head? Still, thanks to that, I remembered what I actually wanted to talk about.
"Is your ability making anything hard for you? I'm a virgin, but because I lactate, people assume I'm somebody's mom..."
At that one line, Gwan Uri and Jang Bihye looked at each other, as if they had heard a question they hadn't expected.
"A grievance? Not particularly. Ah—I did shut myself in the house for a few years because of my ability. I get told I have no social skills thanks to that, but so long as I have Unnie, Bibi, and the CEO, I am fine."
"Because of my ability I faceplanted all six early-admission apps, and regular admissions blew up too. Whatever. I decided not to go to college and just stream, so it doesn't matter."
Becoming a shut-in over your ability, wrecking college entrance—wasn't that serious? The two of them talking about a gloomy past as if it were nothing were impressive. Had becoming adult streamers and pulling in ten million a month made them stop caring?
"Sorry. I didn't know you had stories like that."
"Why are you sorry? Wanna use it as material when we collab later?"
"You have no need to apologize, Unnie. I have already overcome it."
I apologized, and the two of them comforted me instead.
"Oh, but the CEO says to do a crew-founding broadcast. When should we?"
"Shouldn't you have led with that?"
"I asked before Big Sis Yubi even brought it up."
I gave her a little scolding, and Jang Bihye answered without a shred of shame.
"We are off-stream today, so there is plenty of time to come up with ideas. Please speak as comfortably as you like."
"But wouldn't it be better after Big Sis Yubi's breast-milk auction? The viewers don't really know who she is yet."
"Hmm... the auction was the day after tomorrow, wasn't it?"
Gwan Uri marked the auction date on the calendar in red pen. Already the day after tomorrow. How did anyone even arrive at the idea of selling one cup of breast milk for five hundred thousand won?
"Preorders are a week out... Starting tomorrow I'll have to spend all day doing nothing but pumping."
"Hang in there. Then the crew-founding collab is the week after next?"
"Let us do that. By then Unnie will have shown her face quite enough."
"Weekend after next, then!"
"If we're doing it anyway, make it a proper Friday night."
And so the collab celebrating the crew's founding landed on the Friday after next. Bihye passed the date to Zhuge Myeonghui, and Zhuge Myeonghui okayed it at once. This was still the company's first crew, and it was running this slapdash. Was that really fine?
Sure. Make the crew, get popular. Get popular, make a lot of money. Make a lot of money, and both Mo Yeon and I could dodge the bad ending.
The problem was that this was fifteen years before the original, and everyone I had met since becoming Mo Yubi was nowhere near the heroes, so the gap with the source story was enormous. I had gone to the trouble of transmigrating and couldn't even spend my knowledge of the original. Zhuge Myeonghui, Gwan Uri, and Jang Bihye didn't appear in it either. Still, being able to change Mo Yeon's future had to count for something.
Beyond the café window, heroes scrambled out on dispatch. I should probably be grateful I had no reason to get tangled up with them yet. Getting tangled up with heroes meant, almost certainly, getting tangled up with villains too. What if Mo Yeon's biological father came looking someday? Nothing like that had happened in the original, and if I had been the original Mo Yubi I would have handed the kid over whether the father was a villain or not.
Ugh. My head hurts.
"Unnie, is something the matter?"
"No, it's Mo Yeon. She's still so little. She's already started copying moaning sounds, and I'm worried."
"Whoa. Big Sis Yubi, you have a baby?"
Jang Bihye's eyes went round as she stared at me.
"My niece."
"Oh, a niece. How old is she?"
"Four."
"If she is copying moans, that is serious. Are you thinking of streaming from the studio? For the record, I use it as well."
Gwan Uri brought up the company's private studio with a perfectly straight face. You are the single most dangerous thing for that child, Miss Gwan Uri.
"That might be a little difficult. I can't leave a kid alone at night."
"Then... do we put up soundproofing?"
"Just hire someone?"
"I don't make that much yet."
If I wanted someone watching her at night, I'd have to pay a night differential on top of it. Better if I just watched her myself.
"Shall I watch her for you, Unnie?"
Gwan Uri's eyes sparkled. You are the most dangerous option that child has. Do I say it outright, or not?
