7. Apostle Management
“Haaah.”
After jerking off about three times to So Eun-byeol's slutty body, I squeezed out two more loads while watching porn.
But damn, even fapping was starting to get old. I wanted to stick it in a real pussy for once....
I'd gone and awakened, so was I really supposed to just live my life beating my meat? Didn't I deserve to get some real action?
“Ah~. I wanna fuck!”
But that was impossible. No girlfriend in sight, and the thought of putting in actual effort just to make one for some sex was too damn annoying.
Should I hit up an opi?
There was always paying for a hooker, but I'd never been to one, so it felt kinda off. Plus, I didn't even have a buddy to go with....
Life fucking sucks.
If only my awakening powers worked outside my room, I could've lured some sluts over and railed them easy.
Maybe check out Apostle Management?
I writhed around on the bed, horny as hell. After a bit of squirming, I just flopped limp.
Nothing else to do, so I figured I'd poke around in Apostle Management.
- So Eun-byeol (New)
As soon as I opened the management screen, So Eun-byeol's name popped up. I tapped it, and her status window appeared.
It was a pretty standard status window, but different from mine in a few ways. Extra stuff like potential, skill slots, and all that.
Once I opened the apostle screen, the system messages naturally started explaining it all.
You can interfere with your apostle's status window through Apostle Management. Spend SP to raise your apostle's stats. SP consumption for stat increases varies based on the apostle's potential value.
You can sponsor skills to your apostle up to the maximum number of skill slots. Spend SP to increase the maximum skill slots.
Spend SP to grant traits to your apostle.
Spend SP to prematurely awaken your apostle's talents.
“Hmm.”
This costs SP, that costs SP. Why did everything need SP? It gave me a measly 1 per minute, but the places to spend it were endless.
Was there no SP duplication glitch or something? Just groping girls' tits wasn't cutting it anymore—if I had to raise apostles too, my dick might just snap off.
Guess I'll have to hope So Eun-byeol racks up a ton of SP for me.
But now that I had an apostle, SP income would be smoother than before. If I used her to farm SP, I could live a bit more comfortably than now.
Still, right now So Eun-byeol only had the Chop (F) skill—she was basically a total normie. Not even the basic hunter stat, mana, was unlocked.
If I sent her into a dungeon like this, she'd get gangbanged by goblins and permadeath.
Not that she could even enter one.
She didn't have a hunter license yet, so dungeon access was flat-out impossible.
Maybe invest in So Eun-byeol a bit? She was my first apostle and my fap material, so she was worth it.
But not right now. I'd blown too many points chatting with her—nothing left.
First things first, grind some points.
“Guess I'll head to school.”
I lay there a sec, then shot up. It'd been a while since I'd even thought about going, so I threw on some clothes and headed out.
The moment I stepped outside, I felt my strength drain away. My room-exclusive powers got sealed, dropping my physicals back to normie levels. Never got used to that feeling.
Ever since awakening, everything outside feels riskier.
Unlike before, strolling around now kinda scared me. I'd lived twenty-something years without issue, but now I kept imagining getting hit by a car or caught in some psycho villain bullshit and dying pointlessly.
I'd finally awakened—wouldn't wanna die that lame and turn into a ghost. And if I was gonna die, at least let me fuck first.
Ah, I wanna fuck.
Maybe I should just hit the red-light district for real. I pulled out my phone, scrolled galleries, and slacked my way to school.
Spamming hooker comments on posts from simps I hated, and boom—suddenly at school.
Average CSAT grade 5. One of those trash "weed-out" colleges: Myeongcheon University. My proud alma mater.
“Huh, that dude....”
Right next to Myeongcheon University was Myeongcheon Teachers' College High School.
Peeping at future Myeongcheon U students was routine for us undergrads. I scanned the high schoolers before hitting the main gate—mostly the girls.
Then I spotted a familiar face. That slutty high school chick I'd messed with before was leaning against the wall, secretly smoking with her friends.
Her skirt was hiked so high her pussy was practically flashing—pissed me off, so I kept staring.
They noticed, glared back, faces twisting.
“What the fuck's this guy's deal?”
“Dunno, looks like a retard, fuck.”
“Kekekeke.”
Those fucking bitches? Laughing at me?
Rage boiled up, but I played it off like I hadn't heard. Not 'cause I was scared....
Revenge could wait. Fighting high school girls just meant #MeToo and a ruined life.
You're dead, slut.
Vowed to message-bomb the bitch when I got home, then headed to the lecture hall.
“Yo, long time no see. Thought you'd dropped out.”
Inside, a guy with earbuds in, gaming, turned and greeted me. One of my few friends: Kim Hyun-do.
I slid in next to him.
“Drop out? Gotta milk my tuition first.”
“Quit now, you'd get half back.”
“...For real?”
Myeongcheon tuition was 5 mil per semester. Half was 2.5 mil....
Drop out and buy a PC?
Sudden dropout itch hit hard.
“Thinkin' of quitting.”
“Then what, live off air?”
“I awakened.”
“Bullshit.”
Didn't buy it. Outside my room, I was no different from a normie—no proof. Couldn't even use mana.
Whatever, didn't care if he believed me or not.
“Whatcha playing?”
“Our Marble.”
Peeked over: Screen full of SSS items, but he was getting wrecked. Hyun-do stomped the enemy's landmark and rage-quit.
“Ah, fuck.”
“Noob. Oh yeah, I hit Diamond.”
“Cut the crap. You've been bullshitting all morning.”
“Don't believe me.”
Couldn't prove awakening, but LoL I could. Pulled up the match history site, showed my ID.
His bored eyes widened.
“Whoa, what? Bought an account? Ain't yours.”
“Told you I hit Diamond, Silver noob.”
“Bull. I know your skill.”
Still skeptical even seeing it. Bullied the eternal Bronze/Silver scrub till prof arrived.
“No more duo with you. Can't carry forever.”
“Diamond's easy mode now. You climbing proves it.”
“You ain't climbing, dude.”
“Should I skip school and grind LoL? Week investment, maybe?”
“No way for you.”
Drag.
“Sorry I'm a bit late~. Shall we start class?”
“Prof's here.”
The instructor for Mana Stone Engineering II took the podium. Me and Hyun-do quit chatting, focused on phones.
Blatant earbuds, but prof said nothing. Didn't expect much from Myeongcheon kids anyway.
He taught the few diligent ones and ignored the rest of us trash. Let me phone in peace.
Ah, fucked.
Checked Upbit: 500k gone. Teared up, closed the app.
Rescue team's coming anyway. HODL mindset—ain't a loss if you don't sell.
“So mana stones basically benefit from high inherent grades. Per the Lindeblitz principle I just explained, higher purity exponentially boosts performance. And,”
“Who's Lindeblitz?”
“Dunno.”
Heart hurt, so I paused the phone and listened. Unknown name right off the bat.
Asked the guy next to me—also clueless. Why the hell did this dude even go to school? Not that I could talk, but at least I awakened.
Wondered what he'd do after graduating. Prof kept rambling nonsense. I'd Google it exam time.
Back to phone.
