Prologue: When Five Gather, More Than Half Are Trash
There's a famous quote from some manga, spoken by a great sage. When five people gather, there is always one piece of trash among them. And as of today, that saying has become flat-out wrong. It only makes sense. After all...
"Fuck." More than half of the five were trash.
I glanced around for a moment. The dog-like bastards wore perfectly shameless expressions, as if my cursing didn't bother their conscience one bit.
"Do you all seriously think this was a fair vote?"
"Then you're saying it wasn't fair?"
Black hair. Black eyes. One of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon Lord's army, complete with horns like a devil. Van asked back with a brazen face.
It was so absurd that the corner of my mouth curled up on its own.
"Fuck. Just how the hell is this supposed to be a fair vote?!"
I shouted, my voice thick with rage. Then I jabbed my finger at the crystal orb sitting in the center of the round table. It clearly showed Van receiving every vote except for the two that weren't cast for me.
At my gesture, the bastard simply shrugged.
"I don't understand why it wouldn't be fair for me to receive the votes."
"What? Fuck? You don't understand?"
How could a person—no, a demon bastard—be this shameless? The dogshit game called Fantastic. After I got possessed into this world, the creator told me that completing hidden achievements or the final achievement would let me escape.
So I used every bit of knowledge in my head. I learned how to obtain demonic energy as a human. I went further and perfectly mastered every form of combat—swordsmanship, necromancy, spearmanship, martial arts, archery, all of it—built on a foundation of magic without exception.
And that wasn't all. To clear every high-difficulty achievement, I strengthened the Demon Lord's army even more. I created new legions and personally charged into danger whenever the front lines looked ready to collapse.
In contrast...
If that bastard had done anything at all, I could at least understand. Fuck.
While I was running myself ragged, he was busy fooling around with succubi. He didn't even seem to realize the Demon Lord's army finances were hanging by a thread. Instead, he kept blowing money on expensive wine and living in luxury.
Yet they're voting for a bastard like that?
We had clearly promised each other. We would fairly choose the one with the best performance.
The moment I realized I had been betrayed by the very people I had somehow come to trust—

Hidden Achievement Quest
Failed to Become the Demon Lord
"This is so fucking bullshit."
It looked like it was going to be a long time before I could go home.
