Lunchtime Tension
It was just as the lunch hour was drawing to a close.
Min-ah set her spoon down and lifted her water cup to wet her lips.
Normally she would have been laughing and chatting with the others at work, finishing her meal.
But today was different.
Gyeong-rok had used an afternoon site visit as an excuse to take Min-ah out alone.
‘Oh God… he’s not probably leering from behind, right?’
Min-ah, who felt far too many guilty pricks, fiddled with her chopsticks awkwardly and kept glancing sideways at Gyeong-rok.
Across from her, Gyeong-rok was eating his meal exactly as he always did.
He scooped up a spoonful of soup, checked his phone for the client emails, and took notes of anything he needed to remember.
‘He eats and works at the same time.’
Unlike Min-ah, who had already finished because she had no appetite, Gyeong-rok looked completely at ease.
As if nothing had happened last night.
‘Why doesn’t he seem bothered at all?’
Min-ah kept poking at her chopsticks for no reason.
She was tense in case the conversation from last night would surface, but Gyeong-rok stuck strictly to business talk the whole time.
“I’ll need to stop by two clients this afternoon.”
“Yes, Team Leader.”
After checking his notes, Gyeong-rok took another spoonful of soup. Then he looked at Min-ah once and continued.
“You received the revised quotation, right?”
“Yes. I checked it this morning.”
“Good. You did well.”
Gyeong-rok nodded. A satisfied smile curved his lips.
“Thanks to Min-ah organizing the materials, the meeting today should go smoothly.”
Min-ah’s expression turned dazed at the sudden praise.
“A-ah… thank you.”
“I always knew you were meticulous, but you’re even better than I expected.”
Min-ah smiled awkwardly.
It was strange.
Normally this would have felt like warm praise, but today her tension only grew.
Min-ah kept comparing Gyeong-rok’s appearance last night with his current demeanor.
Surprisingly, they didn’t seem all that different.
He was still calm, still relaxed, and still using that voice that made people feel comfortable.
The fact confused her.
Once the meal ended, Gyeong-rok stood up.
“Shall we go?”
“Yes, Team Leader.”
After paying, the two left the restaurant. The early summer sun poured down on the road.
On the way to the parking lot, there was no special conversation.
Min-ah fiddled with her phone for no reason.
‘What is oppa doing…? Did he eat?’
She hesitated briefly about calling him but did nothing in the end.
Min-woo’s unhappy expression came to mind.
‘…Shouldn’t I have pushed him away?’
Feeling late regret, Min-ah climbed into the passenger seat.
She had to press down the hem of her skirt that was rising over her thighs.
—
The car entered the main road.
The air-con breeze flowed quietly.
For the first ten minutes, they only talked about work.
Client conditions, cost issues, delivery deadlines, and next week’s meeting.
Min-ah’s tension gradually eased.
‘Did I worry for nothing?’
At a red light the car stopped. Gyeong-rok looked out the window and said,
“Did you sleep well last night?”
Min-ah’s heart dropped straight down.
“…Pardon?”
“You looked tired.”
His tone was completely casual. But Min-ah immediately understood.
The business talk was over and now they had moved to the main point.
“A-ah… I just fell asleep a little late.”
Feeling her face heat up, Min-ah answered evasively.
“Did Team Leader sleep well?”
“Me? Well, my driver is the deputy.”
He answered without any hesitation, as if not caring about last night.
Gyeong-rok’s hand reached out and slid up Min-ah’s thigh.
The large, firm hand lifted the edge of her skirt and stroked her thigh, but Min-ah couldn’t refuse.
The warmth of Gyeong-rok’s thick hand passed through her thin stockings.

“Team Leader… this is outside….”
Min-ah pleaded in a trembling voice while scanning the window.
It was a busy intersection in broad daylight. Cars lined up on both sides. If someone turned their head, they might see everything in the passenger seat.
.
But Gyeong-rok calmly stared straight ahead and gently stroked the inside of her thigh with his palm.
“If it’s uncomfortable, you can push me away anytime. I’m not forcing anything.”
This was always his way.
He gave her the choice with extremely gentle and considerate words.
Every time, Min-ah couldn’t reject his hand.
The light turned green and Gyeong-rok naturally shifted into gear, gripping the steering wheel with one hand.
His other hand remained on Min-ah’s thigh.
His fingers slipped under the hem of her skirt and stroked gently all the way to her inner knee.
“Huk…”
The subtle vibration of the car body mixed with the obscene touch made Min-ah unconsciously let out a short moan.
Startled, Min-ah quickly covered her mouth with both hands.
“Min-ah. Could you open your legs a little?”
“T-Team Leader… that’s….”
Gyeong-rok smiled softly. As if stroking her thigh was nothing at all.
Gazing at the hesitant Min-ah, he paused.
His expression showed he already knew what she would answer.
“Min-ah.”
At the low call of her name, Min-ah’s shoulders twitched.
“Don’t think about it so hard.”
Min-ah bit her lip.
‘Don’t think about it so hard…’
She had not felt comfortable for even a single moment since yesterday.
Min-woo’s face floated up, weekend memories surfaced, and the situation inside the car now completely scrambled her mind.
Yet Gyeong-rok spoke as if nothing was wrong.
“Min-woo knows too. The promise we made.”
At those words, Min-ah’s gaze wavered.
“…And I know why you decided to act for Min-woo.”
Min-ah could say nothing.
Gyeong-rok no longer urged her with words.
He never demanded an answer.
He simply gripped the steering wheel and calmly stared ahead.
His hand never stopped. It still stroked her leg and lifted the edge of her skirt.
The short skirt rolled up, revealing her panties, but he made no attempt to pull it down again.
The scenery outside the window flowed past. Min-ah quietly closed her eyes.
A vague sense that something was going wrong washed over her.
“Ha… ha….”
The touches became more and more explicit. The strokes on the inside of her thigh now brushed the edge of her panties each time.
Each time her body jerked.
‘Embarrassing….’
Min-ah couldn’t open her eyes.
The hand touching her thigh and her own inability to push it away felt shameful.
“Min-ah. Would you like me to kiss you?”
“Y-Yes…?”
Min-ah, who had been closing her eyes, opened them in surprise.
The car had already entered the underground parking lot.
Gyeong-rok parked in a quiet corner, turned off the engine, and the sound fell silent.
The car became quiet in an instant.
Gyeong-rok looked at Min-ah with a serious expression unlike before.
“I want to kiss you, Min-ah.”
“…But… only the lips….”
The lips were different.
At least for Min-ah.
More than her body.
That was why she had managed to hold on until now.
The only person she truly loved was Min-woo.
“Min-ah. Think carefully.”
“W-What… thoughts….”
The hand that had been stroking her thigh fell away. He opened his mouth in a quiet, low voice.
“Does Min-woo really want me to have sex with you?”
“Hic!”
Min-ah let out a sob at the direct choice of words.
Gyeong-rok continued when she couldn’t answer because she had covered her mouth.
“Think carefully. Min-woo got aroused watching us together.”
“…Yes….”
“That’s why we had sex together.”
Gyeong-rok didn’t dodge.
Even though they were alone in the car, Min-ah looked around in panic, twisting her head left and right.
“Min-woo wants to see us getting closer.”
“…”
“He probably still doesn’t fully understand how far it goes himself.”
Min-ah couldn’t answer.
She had definitely thought it was wrong, but at some point she could no longer explain why.
Her firm resolve a moment ago was wavering.
She didn’t know if it was because of Gyeong-rok or Min-woo.
Gyeong-rok slowly leaned his body forward.
His upper body, free of the seatbelt, came completely over to the passenger seat.
Min-ah reflexively tried to move back, but there was no escape in the narrow car.
She sat with her back pressed flat against the seat and shoulders hunched tightly.
Gyeong-rok’s large hand reached and gently cupped her chin.
“Close your eyes, Min-ah.”
His low, calm voice.
Min-ah slowly closed her eyes like someone under a spell.
Dark lights of the parking lot cast shadows over her trembling eyelashes.

Hot breath reached her lips.
Gyeong-rok’s lips lightly took Min-ah’s tightly closed ones.
He didn’t force his way in. He simply licked her lips gently. That careful, insistent stimulation shook Min-ah’s reason even more.
“Ugh….”
Min-ah, whose breathing was becoming tight, slightly parted her lips with a short moan.
Gyeong-rok didn’t miss the gap. His tongue slid carefully but without hesitation into her mouth.
When Gyeong-rok’s tongue swept across the soft inner mucosa, Min-ah’s two hands lost their place and reached out, eventually clutching tightly at the hem of his shirt.
The wet sounds began filling the quiet car.
Gyeong-rok added more pressure to the hand holding Min-ah’s chin, slightly turning her head, and dug deeper.
Each time his tongue entangled with Min-ah’s and swept her palate, her body trembled.
Unlike the last warning in her head that she should push away, her hands stayed tightly gripping his shirt, unable to let go.
The faster her breathing became, the clumsily she intertwined with his movements and accepted the kiss.
After a long, intense movement, Gyeong-rok slowly pulled his body back and separated their lips.
“Ha… ha….”
A thin strand of saliva stretched between their lips, then snapped.
Min-ah’s face, breathing heavily and opening her eyes, was flushed red as if it might burst.
‘It’s the first kiss with someone other than oppa…’
Her two hands, which had been clutching the shirt tightly, lost strength and slid down onto her thighs.
Gyeong-rok gently wiped the corners of Min-ah’s wet lips with his thumb.
“You didn’t hate it, did you?”
Min-ah, head lowered, couldn’t give any easy answer.
The guilt that weighed on her chest was too heavy to show her true feelings.
