The Twisted Plan
Today I returned to the academy that I had been unable to visit for quite some time because I was recovering.
The academy’s annual tournament, the Grand Trial, had been postponed because of the exploratory dungeon, so I had only managed to secure one morning greeting yesterday before heading to the academy with Yuna.
“Hmph! Come back whenever you feel like it!”
I supposed it was progress that she wasn’t completely ignoring me anymore, even if she still wasn’t fully forgiving. I could hope for that, at least.
There was one other thing that felt different.
“Yuna, is this all right?”
“Whoa! Cheon Seong, you look amazing!”
“I don’t know. It feels weird to me.”
It had been a long time since the world had looked so clear right in front of me.
I hadn’t gone to a salon myself to get my hair cut. While I was getting treatment for my arm, Eira had trimmed it for me, and both Yuna and Beatrice had liked the result enough to leave it alone.
Of course, leaving it as it was also made sense because Yuna and Beatrice knew how sincere I was about them. Now that they understood, there was no need to hide the bangs anymore.
After the regression, the once-hidden clarity of my vision had suddenly become perfect. It felt strangely out of place somehow.
And because Yuna and Beatrice were no longer hovering around me so protectively, I felt a little lonely, but if that was what they wanted, then I was fine with it.
“Cheon Seong! What are your impressions of returning to the academy after so long?”
As we walked down the corridor, Yuna made a show of holding a virtual microphone and asked me.
“Well, not much to say, but… my hair looks a bit awkward, so I wonder how the other kids will see me.”
“Aigoo, it doesn’t matter! No matter what you do, you’re still handsome, so stop worrying. Do you not trust me?”
“I’m ordinary compared to you. If you like me, that’s why it seems that way.”
“Nope! My husband is the most handsome man in the world!”
Receiving Yuna’s cheerful praise, we arrived at our class. I could hear people whispering and staring at me from around the room.
I supposed I should have expected it, but I didn’t mind. I wasn’t the type to get worked up over casual glances. The people who mattered to me were Ha-jin, Hae-sol, and Hwa-young, the ones I spent most of my time with. I ignored the stares and headed for my usual seat.
“What is this? There was someone like that in our class?”
“Who is it?”
“Did we really have that kind of handsome guy?”
Everyone saying I was handsome felt like a delusion. Why did changing one hairstyle suddenly make everyone forget my face? It must have been a vision problem or something. I was about to sit down when Kim Ha-jin ran over, calling my name, and my shoulder suddenly felt heavier.
Tadadak!
“Hey! My friend Cheon Seong! What happened to your hair?”
Hmph.
“What? That’s Cheon Seong?”
“Huh. How did he look that good all this time and we never noticed?”
Criticisms poured in from around us. Hearing them, Ha-jin pulled his arm off my shoulder and punched my side lightly.
“Iya~ The stares around here are intense. How does it feel to be getting so much attention?”
“I don’t care about people I don’t know. They don’t matter.”
People did say I was handsome, but honestly, I didn’t feel handsome myself.
The only reason I had been thinking that way lately was because the sap from the World Tree had made my skin look a bit better. Even then, if I asked whether I was truly handsome, I wasn’t sure.
“Oooh! So I’m the only one who knows you well? Right?”
“Well… I don’t know.”
“Huh?! Hey! I’ve visited you at the hospital and eaten meals with you! I’ve done everything with you! How can you be this cruel!”
Ha-jin, who knew my words were a joke, laughed loudly and shouted at me. I chuckled softly, but right behind me I suddenly sensed a figure slipping closer. The scent of red hair filled the air.
“Hey!! My love! I missed you so much!”
Warak.
Slurp~
The red-haired girl, Hwa-young, had secretly approached me and launched herself at Cheon Seong, wrapping him in a fierce hug. Her cheerful warmth spread across his back.
“What is it? You came? Good, come here.”
“What~ You’re not happy enough? Hee?”
Cheon Seong turned at the sound of her voice and grumbled that she should have been happier. The moment he saw Hwa-young’s face, she blushed deeply.
“U-um… th-that… you look even… more handsome now?”
Her skin, which had always been pale, now looked almost painfully flawless. Her messy hair was neatly trimmed, sharp like a beast’s yet carrying a gentleness and kindness in her black eyes that made them shine.
Below that, her sharp nose and the red lips of a man that now looked ready to kiss at any moment were clearly visible.
In short, he had always been handsome, but with the hair cut and perhaps some makeup, he was even more attractive than before.
Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump!
My heart raced so fast it felt like arrhythmia. I forced myself to calm down and asked, and Cheon Seong smiled while explaining.
“Oh, you’re seeing me for the first time today.”
Cheon Seong explained what had happened while adjusting his freshly cut arm. While eating the sap from the World Tree, his arm had been treated, and the hair had grown longer and been trimmed. Hwa-young’s eyes widened like glass marbles, and soon she pulled him into another hug.
She was especially surprised that he had received the sap and relieved that there was a way to fix his arm. She whispered again and again how lucky they were.
“Huhuhu, you two seem very close.”
Watching them, Yuna smiled and asked, and Hwa-young turned to her with a bright smile full of her own joy.
“Hehe, it does look that way, Yuna?”
“Yeah, Hwa-young. You two really suit each other.”
Hwa-young grinned shyly at Yuna’s words and looked embarrassed. Ha-jin, watching from the side, slammed his desk and wailed.
“Ugh! I’m so jealous! Two beauties like that liking you at the same time!”
“If you’re jealous, just date them yourself.”
Watching Ha-jin envy the two beauties, Cheon Seong smirked and asked if he should do the same. Ha-jin grabbed his collar and shook him.
“Damn it, you bastard! I can’t date like you do! I want to be handsome too!”
“Well, I’ve never thought I was handsome, so I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“You liar!!”
Cheon Seong had truly felt that way, but it only hurt Ha-jin more. In the end, Ha-jin buried his face on the desk and sobbed.
“Goodbye… you cut your hair.”
“Bye.”
“Yeah, come on.”
“Everyone, sit down. Roll call.”
After that, Si-yun and Hae-sol came over and sat down. Finally, the homeroom teacher Ryu Se-rin arrived, and a day at the academy began after a full month away.
The students around me gave him jealous glances. Some boys bit their nails, some girls stared with mixed feelings, and the boys with turbid eyes burned with jealousy, anger, and envy.

Crunch.
Crunch, creak!!
It was strange.
Too strange.
No matter how great an extra was, in the ranks of extras there was always a reason. Even if someone was a supporting character, there had to be a reason they were the main one.
But why couldn’t I, the main character, become close to the heroines, while that extra guy was treated like that?
“Hey, isn’t this guy actually handsome?”
“I know. Why did he walk around like that all this time?”
“Yeah, but there are so many girls around me, so I guess that’s why.”
“So what? If he had that face, I’d eat it up.”
‘That bastard. What makes him so handsome? Look at me instead! You damn women!’
In the original story, this extra had only been mentioned as having a cool, dangerous appearance, not a detailed look. He had always walked around with messy, unkempt hair and a rough attitude, showing the typical low-class extra.
Even after I entered the novel, that was how it was. Or so I had thought.
The bastard had been an extra trash with messy hair and a coarse personality. But as time passed, his speech improved and his attitude became gentler, and he became close to the heroines and the main character Seol Si-yun.
Contrary to my expectation that he would be a trashy ugly guy, his appearance was that of a dangerous guy who was slightly inferior to me.
‘Why the hell does the author see that as plain?!!’
In the end, one of the heroines I had targeted, Hwa-young, had ended up liking that extra bastard after the Celestials appeared and the original world was destroyed.
In the original, she had been a noble woman who showed justice and the queen’s spirit, but now she was a loose woman who spread her legs for an extra.
It was twisted.
The plan I had started to hatch had become far too entangled and was now a complete mess with no way out.
‘Yeah. It’s all the author’s fault. That bastard interfered with me and caused this. There’s no way I could have failed otherwise?’
That was it. My perfect plan had failed because of the author who possessed me and interfered with my world.
If not, there was no reason my plan should have failed.
‘Damn it! You author bastard! Why are you so obsessed with interfering with me?!’
Starting with Yuna and now that this extra’s looks had been fixed and Hwa-young was spreading her legs for him, it was all because of the author who possessed me and interfered with the main character me who was supposed to save this world.
‘Fuck, there aren’t many heroines left at the academy that I can charm. He really is a bastard. I should just charm that big-breasted girl first.’
Originally I had planned to slowly raise my favorability with Nabi, find out her address, take her to a hotel while building a mood, or slip something into her drink to take her to a hotel. But the academy plan had been ruined by the author, so unfortunately I would have to delay charming Nabi.
If I didn’t act well, the heroines who could be easily charmed at the academy might all be taken away by that extra bastard because of the author’s interference.
‘Tsk, I was only going to use her as a breast pillow, but I should charm her first. What does she like?’
When fighting Celestials, I had thought of her as a useful long-term pawn who would lead the charge and kill traitors, but she was a poison user, so she was at the bottom of my heroine list. I didn’t remember what she liked.
Dang Hwa-ran. Dang Hwa-ran.
‘I remember her story. She was raised as livestock to have sons at home, and the only one who treated her well was the nanny who was a breeder… ah, yes. Prince.’
Dang Hwa-ran had the kind of tragic story of a poison user, and in the original she had yearned for the clichéd fairy tale where a prince saves a princess captured by a villain.
Smirk.
‘Then this will be easy.’
Yearning for a clichéd fairy tale story meant it wouldn’t be difficult to charm Dang Hwa-ran.
‘I can just rush the incident, trigger the monster wave, isolate Dang Hwa-ran, save her myself, and claim her.’
There was a survival event coming soon where all academy students would participate.
In the original story, the top 50 would receive rewards here. Those who participated would gain the right to join the Arcadia, the global competition where the five best students from around the world would compete.
There were also heroines from other academies participating in Arcadia, and since I was the main character, the outcome was already set. What I needed to focus on right now was the survival.
The survival held on the artificial island owned by the academy’s principal was a wild, unpredictable event where participants had to survive by gathering food and water.
Of course, safety was prepared, but along with the inevitable disaster, a monster wave would occur.
The wild with monsters, the danger of losing one’s life.
Isolation, despair, and then joy and love.
Yes.
I would rush the event, isolate Dang Hwa-ran during the monster wave, and save her myself to claim her.
‘Just you wait, you author bastard. No matter how much you interfere, this time I will definitely take her.’
Because I had promised to claim Dang Hwa-ran, her image appeared vividly in my mind.
Abundant, dark green hair.
Emerald eyes.
The hairpins holding her hair and the unique patterns on her forehead that added an air of mystery to her face.
A small, petite figure that ranked second to the tallest heroine in height.
And…
Gulp.
‘Among the heroines, the largest breasts, even though her figure was small.’
Remembering those breasts that looked even bigger because of her small stature made my mouth water.
‘This time, I will definitely take her.’
And strip her of her virginity and enjoy those full breasts.
