The Siege of Las Vegas
Thump, thump-thump-thump!
“Ahhh, hnnng, haaaaaaah!!”
The red magical energy carried the woman’s cries, echoing over the wooden barricades. It was as if a voice-amplification spell had been cast; the woman’s moans spread to the adventurers, and those who heard the blissful sounds felt an involuntary sense of discomfort.
“Ugh.” Someone hunched over.
“Oh my, oh my, oh my…” Someone else realized what was happening inside and turned beet red in an instant.
“That voice… I think I know it.”
Graey searched his memory for the woman’s voice. It was an image that felt strongly at odds with such sounds, a voice he felt he had heard long ago, yet one that should never be heard in a place like this.
‘Eila Aries?’
The daughter of the Border Earl, presumed dead in Forneus’s dungeon, and a woman once destined to become a member of the royal family. If that female knight were to moan, it would sound exactly like this.
‘Don’t tell me an orc kidnapped Eila, made her his wife, and dragged her all the way here?’
Graey shook his head at his own delusions. So many bizarre things had been happening that he felt he was losing his mind.
‘What on earth is happening behind that wooden fence?’
“Ah, ah-hng, h-heung!!”
Thump, thump-thump, k-k-k-k-k-k!!
“…Damn, he’s really fucking her hard.”
For a moment, Graey imagined Eila Aries being fucked by an orc. In the middle of the village square, with all the orcs watching, Eila—her arms held by the orc captain, being taken from behind like a dog—would be forced to accept the humiliating proposal: that for every orc, she would not kill a human. At first, she would bite her lip to protect the villagers out of a sense of duty and noble obligation, but as the orcs’ seeds filled her belly, she would begin to feel pleasure—
Clap!
Graey clapped his hands to snap out of his delusion. He quickly scanned his surroundings.
“Oh, man…”
“Damn it, ah, ugh.”
“…Don’t tell me it’s orc play… *gulp*.”
Everyone was losing their minds due to the acts taking place within the city. Only then did Graey realize the source of that heinous sound.
“Everyone, calm down! It’s an insidious enemy scheme!!”
Graey shouted to steady the adventurers and searched for the priests. The only ones who could overcome this predicament were the priests who could borrow the power of divine energy.
“Priest, please, cast a spell!”
“………”
The old priest stood blankly, stunned. His face showed the shock of witnessing public obscenity occurring within the city.
“Th-this is shameless…! Oh, Goddess…! Please, forgive this anger…!”
“Priest!”
“Ah, m-my apologies…! In the name of the Goddess!!”
The priest, snapping back to reality, began to chant a prayer and release divine energy. The red aura that had stolen the adventurers’ sanity began to recede, and the adventurers began to regain their senses.
“Phew, that’s a relief.”
“Wh-what on earth is going on in there?!”
A young priest asked Graey. Far from public obscenity, the priests had refused to believe the testimonies of many regarding the taboos of the Goddess Church being committed openly.
If committing a taboo was an aggravating factor, it was a grave crime that went beyond life imprisonment, warranting castration and dismemberment.
‘An orc is having sexual intercourse in the square with a woman whose voice sounds like Eila Aries.’
Graey could not dare reveal the disgusting imagination that had crossed his mind to the priests. He couldn’t even bring himself to tarnish his own honor by admitting he had such vile thoughts.
“…They are likely trying to confuse us by taking a hostage. Perhaps they are holding her son hostage, and the mother is screaming.”
“To take a child hostage… these bastards deserve to be chewed up!”
The priests were furious. The owner of the moans had a voice so delicate one might think she was a teenager who had just reached adulthood, let alone in her twenties, but Graey could not bring himself to speak the truth he suspected was close to reality.
‘If it’s that orc, wouldn’t he be capable of doing such a thing?’
He had to enter the city walls to grasp the situation. Graey spoke cautiously.
“Priest, please advance with your prayers—”
“Haaaaaah! Orc cock is so amaaaazing!!”
“H-hng?!”
Graey felt a chill run down his spine at the sharp scream that shattered the barrier of divine energy. It wasn’t just the sound itself; his heart sank at the realization that the prayer barrier had been broken.
“Having… sexual intercourse with an orc…?”
The old priest trembled, his face bloodshot. With a look of profound shock, he fainted while standing. Graey felt a wave of nausea from the pungent smell of chestnut blossoms spreading near him, and the front of the priest’s robe was damp.
“……Why is there nothing normal in this world?”
Since the rise of the Demon King’s army, the world had gone mad. Graey drew his sword.
“Everyone, ch—charge!!!”
Since they had gathered to advance through the east gate, the adventurers regained their composure at Graey’s roar, which he had imbued with mana, and ran forward. Graey stood at the front and raced toward the east gate.
‘Something’s strange.’
The east wooden fence had already been breached by Priest Francis, and he himself had been there once before to facilitate the operation. But the distance felt subtly shorter.
‘It was longer before—’
The moment he crossed the wooden fence, Graey’s heart sank. Behind the fence, another fence had been erected. The fence they had seen was a double-layered structure.
‘What is that—’
Crack. With the sound of something breaking.
BOOM!!!
With a thunderous roar, stone boulders burst out from inside the wooden fence. Graey muttered to himself as he looked at the massive shadow visible beyond the splintering wood.
“Stone Golem?”
“Ggggrrrrrrrrrrr!!!”
Stone Golems, their entire bodies stained red, jumped out from the wooden fence-camouflage and ambushed the adventurers. K-k-k-k-k-k!! At the same time, massive clouds of dust began to rise from the main street beyond the fence. And Graey felt a chill at the voice that struck his ears.
“Ah, this is what they call the Golem of Advance——!!”
Piercing through the dust, an orc riding a unicorn, holding an elf in front of him, leaped over Graey.
* * *
“Wooooooh!!”
I shouted and threw my twin axes. The axe throw, relatively lighter than the ones I used before, posed no burden on riding, and that burden was no problem for Amducias or Ryun.
“Ugh!!”
The axe embedded itself into the round shield of a strong-looking adventurer and split it. And as the shield split left and right, Ryun drew her bowstring.
Thwip.
Ryun’s arrow targeted the robed man hiding behind the adventurer. The bald old man among the three couldn’t avoid Ryun’s attack, and a hole was punched through his head.
“Amducias, giddy-up!”
I manipulated the reins to turn Amducias’s head to the right. The 20 pairs of unicorn-warg pairs following me threw wooden spears at the adventurers.
Whiz-whiz-whiz!!
The vanguard adventurers blocked the spear throws with shields and armor, but some adventurers were struck in the knees and feet by the sharpened wooden spears and collapsed.
“Retr—eat!!”
I held the reins at the front and ran, grazing the adventurers. Ryun turned her body slightly to the side and fired an arrow, and the bow of the archer adventurer targeting me was split in half.
Clip-clop, clip-clop.
The 41 cavalrymen quickly threw their spears and ran to the south gate. The east gate was already blocked by adventurers and knights who had regained their senses, so we turned to the south gate for return and resupply.
“Shaitan!!”
[Sending Harpy Angels.]
The Harpy Angel unit appeared from the portal. They were all holding wooden spears carved by the undead in their feet, and our cavalrymen grabbed the spears fixed in the air and ran back to the east gate.
Amducias ran with her horn glowing. Following Amducias, who ran through the dust, the unicorns and wargs followed exactly without losing their way.
“Ryun, do you know why Rudolph’s nose is red!!”
“Because he’s in heat?!”
“Because he lights up the darkness while going crazy!”
The orc riders turned their mounts following Amducias’s light. Thanks to that, our cavalrymen safely circled the center of Las Vegas until they refilled their wooden spears.
Screeeech!!
Eila waved the flagpole with a reddened face. Eila, who had been getting fucked by me until just five minutes ago, waved the flagpole to indicate the position to me, and I turned slightly to the side of the alley, unlike the position I had initially advanced to.
“Ryun, warning shot to the front!”
Ryun fired three arrows in succession at my command. Three holes appeared in the dust, and I watched the front through those holes.
‘They’ve already formed a phalanx?’
The adventurers had raised their shields, and I could see rangers aiming crossbows between the shields. Those crossbows were aiming exactly at us even through the dust.
Screeeech!
Andras in the sky flew to the right. I kicked Amducias’s waist following Andras’s guidance. We rushed toward the front, and a crossbow bolt flew between the shields.
Whoosh-!
“Master?!”
“It’s fine. It just grazed me.”
The back of my hand was stinging. As I desperately swatted away the bolt aiming for Ryun’s ear, a red wound formed between the tattoos on the back of my hand, and it began to burn. If we kept running like this, we’d be finished if we collided, but we lacked the momentum to pierce the adventurers’ shields. In that case, a running start was needed. I timed it as Andras indicated.
Three, two, one.
BOOOOM!!
The Stone Golem that popped out from between the wooden fences hit the ground with its arm. The earth shook violently, the adventurers’ formation wavered, and I pulled the reins with a deep breath.
“Yoshi, jump!!”
Amducias stepped on the thick arm of the Stone Golem that had fallen to the ground and leaped high. I grabbed Ryun’s waist and pulled her into my arms, and Ryun stepped on my shoulder as if performing an acrobatic feat. I also leaped onto the saddle I had placed on Amducias.
“All troops, Yoba!!”
“Yoba——!!”
I leaped high from the saddle of Yos—no, Amducias. I could clearly see the adventurers’ astonishment as they watched me jump into the air.
“““Wooooooh!!”””
The orcs also leaped high, each holding a wooden spear. A few quick-witted ones raised their shields high, but unfortunately, we had already passed our spears over their shoulders.
“Throw spears!!”
Whiz-whiz-whiz!!
Our spears pierced the adventurers’ heads. The orcs in the rear were blocked by the warriors’ shields or the mages’ shields, but I could see about ten adventurers being pierced in the neck or chest by the wooden spears. And their bodies were getting closer to me.
I lifted Ryun up so she wouldn’t get hurt and stretched my legs out.
“Weight check!”
I intentionally jumped toward the adventurer holding a shield. The adventurer instinctively raised his shield against me, and I used him as a cushion to jump to the ground.
“K-kuh-uck?!”
“Thank you!”
I trampled on his shield and arm, and immediately snatched his weapon. Unlike the mace types I used to use, it was a morning star embedded with sharp, heinous thorns.
“I’m not confident.”
“Yes?”
“Confident that I won’t kill them.”
Whether it’s a mace or a morning star, they are optimized for beating enemies to death. I smashed the head of the guy who was pointing a sword at Ryun.
SPLAT—!!
Blood splattered from the iron thorns that had pierced his skull. Thanks to me swinging my robe, not a drop of blood touched Ryun.
“Ryun, fire.”
Ryun, who had entered my robe, began to fire indiscriminately from within my arms. The adventurer unit began to fire magic and arrows at me, and I protected Ryun by swinging the blood-stained morning star and my fists.
“Kill them all!!”
So that they may die and become magic stones for our legion. I slowly advanced Ryun and began to beat the adventurers to death. But Ryun.
“Don’t keep pushing your butt back in such a serious situation!”
“Hing.”
Because Ryun kept pushing her butt back, I felt a bit irritated in many ways. …Still, since the feeling wasn’t all that bad, I assessed the situation and pulled Ryun slightly toward me.
“…Master?”
“It’s fine because we have the advantage right now!!”
“Geez….”
Ryun rubbed her slightly flushed fingers and caught her breath. At the same time, she wiggled her butt left and right and burrowed deeper into my robe.
Clang-!
I caught the sword that was stabbing into the side of my robe. It was a familiar face, and I couldn’t help but smile.
“Long time no see. What’s your name?”
“…Graey.”
The knight, Graey, twisted his sword with a stiff face. It felt like my hand holding the blade was about to be severed.
“So your name is Graey. Yeah, but do you know this?”
I pointed to the sky with my chin.
“Because there’s a bird in our legion that snatches up handsome men.”
“What—”
Grab. Andras grabbed Graey’s pauldron and soared high into the sky. I waved my blood-dripping hand at him.
“Die or Las. Congratulations!”
Collect the talented recruits, and kill the rest to turn them into magic stones. I wiped my hand on my robe and scanned the area.
“Alright! Capture as many men and women as possible and let’s Las!!”
Those who resist will all die and become magic stones. I clenched my burning hand and swung my fist toward the face of the guy rushing at me.
