The Breeding Grounds of Avalon
Dawn had broken. My daily routine began as always, with Ryun and Eila offering their morning greetings, to which I responded by kissing them both. It was the same old, same old. "Master, what shall we do today?" "Is there anything else to do? We have to keep moving from morning until night."
The daily routine in our dungeon wasn't much different from any other day. We gained experience points by grinding through sub-dungeons and secured materials from the byproducts. Andras's feathers were now so abundant that we had more than enough to make blankets, pillows, and even nearly ten sets of human clothing. But now, every process had a single 'purpose': the conquest of the Virgo Barony. To achieve that, I needed to mobilize every scrap of information I possessed.
"Anyone here know about the Virgo Barony?"
Gremory was excluded, of course. Ryun, who came from the Elf Forest, was out. Eila, whose territory was on the complete opposite side, was also out. In the end, the only targets I could get information from were the human hunters. I first visited the nearby Las Village.
"The new Virgo Baroness who inherited the territory is incredibly beautiful."
It was important information. It was definitely a piece of news that stoked my motivation, but it was something I already knew.
"I believe there are about ten knights in the territory. If they mobilize the territorial army, it would be roughly 800. If they push it to the limit, maybe fifteen hundred."
"That's surprisingly few, yet somehow feels like a lot. I thought it would be in the tens of thousands."
"The Virgo Barony never really trained many soldiers to begin with. Since the Elf Forest is to the rear, there are few monsters, and the Baron wasn't exactly a warlike person."
"Is that so? Well, that makes it easy for me to conquer. But how do you know so much?"
"I heard it through the grapevine while I was in the military for a bit. I quit after about a month, so I don't know much more. They're all just able-bodied men drafted during the fallow season."
The enemy forces were simpler than I thought. Since they were located at the very rear of the front lines against the Demon King's army, the quality of the soldiers was bound to be quite poor. 'Still, our dungeon's troop count is far lower.'
For a mixed monster unit of less than 50 to execute an encirclement and annihilation maneuver against 1,500 soldiers was simply impossible. No matter how much I preferred quality, I needed at least some quantity to support that quality for a smooth war.
"Master, actually, could you do us a favor..."
The most experienced of the stud hunters—the one who had caused the most eggs to be laid—approached me as a representative. I felt annoyed, wondering what kind of cheeky request he was about to make. "What is it?"
"...Could you let the Harpy Angels stay here?"
"Aha."
They seemed to want to do it while breathing fresh air, having always been stuck in the musty barracks of the dungeon. But, sorry to the five hunters, there were only three Harpy Angels currently available. Andras and Harpyia were off-limits.
"There are only three of them, is that alright?"
"Oh, we'd be grateful for even those three."
"...Hmm, wait a second."
If I was going to do it, I couldn't just let them do it casually. Ever since I learned that the system applied inside the dungeon—thanks to Luna—I couldn't just let them perform the act and be done with it.
"I can't just let you do it; you have to lay eggs. Are you okay with that?"
"Oh, of course. We asked for this because we wanted to do that in the first place... *ahem*."
The hunters were honest. For the mass production of the Harpy unit and my daily sustenance, I urgently summoned the Harpy Angels and one Slime Dragon. The two Harpies that were summoned first, excluding Andras, had evolved into Harpy Angels, and a Harpy Angel who was like Andras's daughter also entered Las Village.
"Yes. We'll do it right away."
All three had positive reactions. I didn't care about the others, but the second-generation Harpy Angel was a slightly concerning existence. "Are you sure?"
"Of course. For us Harpy species, laying eggs is the primary purpose of living."
"...If you guys are happy with it, then so be it. Unit 1, come here."
I called Slime Dragon Unit 1 and pointed to the 'Trouble-Relieving Latrine' I had made for the old Andras. "You need to make a small room here. Like this. You get the idea, right?"
Kkeureureuk. The now-grown Slime Dragon understood my words immediately and began digging a tunnel into the wall. The hole, large enough for Andras's head to fit, became the size of a small motel room, and I pointed to the center and drew a square shape.
"Take the ghouls and gather logs. Then weave planks to make a bed. Use Andras's feathers to make the bed, and do it on top of that."
"Master, wouldn't it be a bit cramped for three people to go in together? We don't mind, but the humans..."
"One couple, one room."
The Slime Dragon immediately started the next task. It dug a tunnel in the same shape, moving sideways to create another one in the empty space. Exactly three, the number of the Harpy Angels. I checked if the system worked inside the makeshift cave. It worked perfectly.
"The Harpy Angels must stay here except when they are resting. You know the sensation when you're seeded, right?"
"Of course."
"Except when you're being seeded or laying eggs, you can move freely within the wooden fence. But in those two situations, you must be here. Hunters, gather the eggs in one place. Harsus, if you see them and think they're Harpy Angel eggs, bring them over."
Kkeureureuk. Harsus, who was moving logs, nodded. Come to think of it, Harsus's level was now approaching 30.
"Harsus, what do you want to evolve into? Thanks to Gremory, I know your evolution conditions too."
According to Gremory, there were Ghoul Knight, Ghoul Mage, and Ghoul Vampire. She said evolution was possible when one consumed the corpse of a knight, a mage, or a vampire, respectively. According to Meari's speculation, she thought it might be about making the consumed target's skills one's own.
Kkeureureuk. Harsus just bowed his head silently at me. There was only one meaning to that. "Anything?"
Keureuk.
"You're making this the most troublesome. Do you really have no wishes?"
Harsus was genuinely hoping to evolve according to my choice. What judgment should I make about an existence that was highly loyal but still only followed orders? 'I'll just make him a knight.' How could I make such a loyal Harsus anything other than a knight?
It seemed ridiculous for a ghoul to become a knight, but Gremory said skeletons and zombies followed the same evolution tech tree. Although neither of them was in our dungeon.
"Guys, by any chance, were there any knights among the adventurers?"
"...No?"
The hunters, who were about to grab the Harpy Angels' waists and enter the cave, shook their heads. It seemed they were thinking of laying down leather on the bare ground, bed or no bed, and the 'Premature Ejaculator' and 'Delayed Ejaculator'—as I called the successors—were working hard to cut planks with the help of the ghouls.
"What about a mage?"
"...We stripped all their equipment without thinking, so we don't know if there was one or not."
Damn. If I had known, I would have checked if there was someone wearing a mage's robe. There was one High Ghoul, low level but capable of evolving up to 3 stars.
"Zasus!"
Keureuk? The High Ghoul, who was using his claws like a saw to cut a log, looked up. Maybe it was because I thought of him as a future mage, but he seemed smarter than I thought.
"Next time a mage corpse appears, make sure you eat it. Harsus, make sure you eat it if a knight corpse appears."
As they say, the flower of the undead is the Death Lich. I changed Zasus's name for distinction. "From today on, you are Rastuzard."
Kkeureureuk? He should consider it an honor. Ah. Does this make things a bit awkward with Harsus?
After patrolling Las Village once, I used a portal to visit Gremory's dungeon. Thanks to blocking the entrance, there were no new intruders in Gremory's dungeon, and Gremory ran straight to me to greet me. It was her main body.
"Did something happen?"
"You, you you you!"
Gremory pointed inside the dungeon with a bright red face. The place where my subordinates and Gremory's subordinates had faced off. There, Arthur was sprawled out on the floor, and four Las Village hunters with heavily swollen bellies were lined up in a row.
"What do you think someone else's dungeon is for!!"
"Is it a problem to increase my combat power in my multi-dungeon?"
I kneaded Gremory's buttocks to calm her down. The intention of Gremory appearing as her main body was obvious.
"Why. You can't do it yourself, so are you getting horny because your subordinates are fucking?"
"That's part of it, but my clone's dedicated dildo is... *ahem*!"
Gremory cleared her throat and turned her head. Currently, Arthur was sprawled out on the floor, unconscious. It was understandable, as he had sown his seeds into four people to create his own offspring.
"He shouldn't be that exhausted already."
"Why?"
"Because there are still many humans left. Female humans."
I pointed to the female adventurers who had followed behind me. They were all wearing only their underwear, following me while bound by vine-stem handcuffs. Twelve of them. They were rookie adventurers I had captured as prisoners while raiding Gremory's dungeon. My subordinates had taken care to keep only the women alive, and that was a huge help in this situation.
"Choose, humans."
I scanned the 12 prisoners with my eyes. Most of them were low-star, 1-2 star adventurers, and none had particularly attractive faces. They were poor adventurers who had been hooked by the Virgo Baron's request and stuck their heads into the tiger's mouth.
"You are ruffians who tried to kill our dungeon's subordinates. You're worth chewing up right now, but I'll give you a chance to pay for your sins with your bodies."
I pulled up the female hunter whose belly was now bulging. She was a woman I had played a 'wall-banging' session with, and she was now carrying a giant egg after receiving Arthur's seed.
"I'll say it bluntly. Give birth to an Orc's child."
"No—!"
One female adventurer who looked strong screamed. I nodded to Gremory, and Gremory snapped her fingers. Whoosh. Fire ignited on the female adventurer's body. She began running in all directions, screaming, but hit an invisible wall. The adventurer, trapped inside a small barrier created by Gremory, was engulfed in flames and burned to death in a short moment. I knew how painful it was because I had set myself on fire before.
"Next. Is there anyone else?"
The remaining 11 adventurers didn't resist at all. Since I had shown them an example, no one was making any noise. I stood behind the female hunter and supported her legs. The female hunter, naked, showed her vulva wide open to the prisoner adventurers.
"Ma, Master?"
"Five minutes."
As soon as my words ended, the hunter's entire body began to convulse.
"Eeeek?!"
Her vulva breathed breathlessly, saliva dripped from her mouth, and along with the sound of gasping breath, the hunter's belly was descending. A dark green egg appeared through the widely dilated vaginal opening.
"Ugh!"
One female adventurer, seemingly nauseated by the scene, covered her mouth with her hand and knelt down. It was natural for some not to be able to watch a birth scene head-on, but since they were watching the scene of a monster laying an egg, not anything else, it was understandable.
"......*Gulp*."
But the other 10 adventurers couldn't take their eyes off the mystery of birth (ver. Solomon) as they gulped. Being women themselves, they would know better. How happy and ecstatic the expression of the hunter currently laying the egg was. Even I, who was holding her, was trembling at the hunter's climax.
Thud.
The hunter laid the egg and dropped her head. I carefully placed the egg on the floor, then carried the hunter as she was and inserted her onto Arthur, who was lying on the floor.
"Ughhh!"
"Kyaaa!!"
The two men and women screamed different screams. Arthur instinctively moved his waist toward the hunter who had been inserted onto him again, and the hunter, who had just been enjoying the leisure of childbirth, hugged him tightly as she was immediately penetrated.
"Then, prisoners, I'll make you an offer just once."
I spread three fingers to the prisoners. "Three times. If you lay eggs exactly three times here, I'll let you live outside."
"What did you say...?"
"If there's anyone who volunteers within 10 seconds—"
"Me, me."
It was unexpected. The adventurer who had vomited raised her hand with difficulty and stood up. "Living outside... that means you won't kill us, right? I heard Orcs always keep their promises..."
"Yeah. I'll keep my promise. I swear on Tural's balls."
"......?"
"Just nonsense. Since it's your first time, I'll give you a special gift."
I made a claw mark on the collarbone of the volunteer who stepped up first. "Even if you lay just one, I'll let you live outside immediately."
"Yes...?"
"Now, go do it with him."
I pushed the woman's back. Gremory naturally guided the woman to Arthur, and Arthur, even while struggling, stood up like a gentleman. Naturally, the gazes of the other female adventurers turned to me.
"Then next is—"
"Me, me!"
"I, I will!"
"Five times."
At my words, the adventurers' expressions stiffened. I shrugged my shoulders. "Don't you know I give great service to the first customer? Yeah. Let's not make the calculations complicated, let's make it simple."
I spread out both hands. "Do you want to lay exactly 10 eggs and live outside, or die? If you work hard to lay 10, it'll be over in just 11 days, right?"
A while later. I untied the vine stems of the adventurers and lined them up in a row in front of Arthur. It was fortunate that the adventurers all made the same choice.
