Sleeping with Elf Future Mother-in-Law (2)
The vast forest finally gave way to a city on the horizon. The sprawling metropolis was built in a style utterly unlike human architecture, with a whimsical charm that felt straight out of a fairy tale. Trees grew naturally around and through the buildings, twisting and embracing them in organic beauty. They flew straight across the city skyline toward the enormous tree at its center. A tree so colossal it seemed to pierce the heavens itself—this was the palace of the High Elves. Its trunk alone was as thick as ten parade grounds laid side by side. It was here that the Queen and the High Elves responsible for central administration made their home.
“You must be weary from such a long journey, husband.”
“H-husband?”
Upon landing at the condor platform three hundred meters above ground, Queen Quianas was already there to greet them, flanked by her attendants. With her golden hair, porcelain skin, and a voluptuous chest far more impressive than Elena’s, she radiated a seductive allure aimed directly at Cloud.
“Y-you’re… the Queen who’s supposedly five hundred and fifty-five years old?”
“Indeed. Quite an age, isn’t it?”
“No way…”
Cloud stared at her in open admiration. When he had first heard Elena mention her mother’s age, he had automatically pictured some wrinkled old grandmother. Meeting her in person completely shattered that expectation. She looked no older than a maiden in her twenties.
“I imagine you were quite startled by this sudden invitation with no prior notice. Please accept my sincere apologies, husband.”
Quianas kept addressing him as husband at the end of every sentence. Cloud found it awkward and cringeworthy to hear such a word from his mother-in-law, yet at the same time, having a beautiful woman cling to him and call him that felt strangely pleasant.
“Stop calling him husband.”
Elena, standing beside him, looked thoroughly displeased. She glared at her mother—the woman she hadn’t seen in a long time—with her arms crossed tightly over her chest.
“How amusing.”
Quianas glanced once at Elena’s swollen belly before turning to face her daughter with a smile. It was the kind of smile that didn’t feel like a smile at all.
“Well then, shall we head inside and hear the full story at our leisure? Elena?”
Her voice sounded as if she were grinding her teeth, giving the impression that she had been waiting for this moment for a very long time.
After they moved to a more private location and Quianas learned the entire situation, she nodded slowly and murmured, “So that’s what happened…” She set down her teacup and continued, “To remove the dark power Isabelle implanted, Gesaengquiya is indeed the simplest and fastest method.”
She turned to Cloud with a bright, radiant smile.
“No matter how it came about, I look forward to your kind care in the future, husband.”
“Ah, y-yes, of course.”
Cloud had originally intended to refuse the marriage, but after seeing his mother-in-law’s breathtaking beauty, a treacherous desire to go through with it began creeping up on him.
“Stop calling him husband!” Elena shouted in irritation.
“Why? Is there something wrong with a wife calling her husband husband? From now on, this man named Cloud is my spouse. You know very well that this is the bond forged by Gesaengquiya. Isn’t that right, my dear husband?”
Quianas looked at Cloud with a wide, expectant smile, clearly waiting for the perfect reply.
Cloud glanced nervously at the frowning Elena and cleared his throat.
“Well, you see… the thing is…”
He hesitated for a moment before speaking. He had decided to permanently abandon the tempting treasure he had briefly coveted. He had envisioned a smooth, slice-of-life story for himself. Even if it turned into a gay story, he could somehow endure it—but he absolutely had to prevent it from becoming an incest story.
“I believe this marriage should be considered null and void. I humbly ask that Your Majesty reconsider. As you can see, Elena is carrying my beloved child, and…”
“That is something even I cannot change,” Quianas cut in sharply. “The bond decided by Gesaengquiya is a divine command that every High Elf must obey without question. Refusing it would bring about a terrible heavenly punishment.”
“But I’ve lived my entire life with no connection to the High Elves whatsoever. And more importantly, how can Your Majesty possibly trust me? What if I ascend to the throne and run the kingdom into the ground on a whim?”
“You need not worry about that, husband. I will stay by your side and fill in whatever you lack. That is precisely the duty of a wife.”
“Stop saying husband! And stop saying wife!”
“You stay quiet. What gives you the right to keep interrupting?”
Quianas shot Elena a sharp, scolding glare. Cloud swallowed hard as he looked back and forth between the two women. The mother and daughter exchanged fierce looks, filling the room with a tense, murderous atmosphere.
“Your Majesty Quianas.”
At that moment, a High Elf who appeared to be a maid entered the room. She approached Quianas and whispered something in her ear. Quianas’s stiff expression softened into a smile as she looked at Cloud.
“The bedchamber has been prepared. Since you are a couple bound by fate, it would be best to first mingle your flesh. Only then will it be easier to learn about each other step by step, wouldn’t it? Come along, let us go together.”
“A-already? It’s the middle of the day!”
“What does the time of day matter? In fact, doing it in broad daylight lets you see every little detail clearly. Isn’t that better? Though I suppose it might feel a bit embarrassing.”
Cloud looked at Elena with a panicked expression, silently begging for help. Elena jumped up in a hurry and wrapped her arms tightly around his waist.
“You can’t have him!”
“Let him go, Elena.”
“No! I’m not giving him to you!”
“It seems we have no choice.”
Quianas summoned the guards and forcibly pried Elena away. Cloud, surrounded by soldiers, was dragged against his will toward the Queen’s bedchamber.
Click.
The door locked from the outside. Trapped inside the spacious room, Cloud looked around. A luxurious canopy bed dominated the space, surrounded by equally opulent furniture. He sat down on the edge of the bed. His mind was in chaos and his nerves were so frayed that even standing felt difficult.
“To think I’d end up doing that the moment I arrive…”
Truthfully, seeing Quianas’s stunning figure had stirred a brief surge of desire to touch her, but this was hardly the time. Ever since arriving here, he had never once forgotten his goal—except for that single moment when he had stolen a glance at the Queen’s body.
“Actually, this might be for the best. It’ll be easier to bring up the topic in a comfortable setting like a bedroom.”
The real question was whether Quianas would grant his request. He had staked everything on this journey. If she refused, it was all over. Two days to get here, two days to return—he had no time left. He had to hold onto her and persuade her no matter what.
Click.
The locked door opened, and Quianas stepped inside. The moment Cloud saw her, his breath caught in his throat.
She had shed the elegant, antique dress she had been wearing earlier and now stood before him in a daring red negligee. Her sensual curves and graceful posture instantly captivated the young groom.
Gulp!
Through the sheer mesh of the negligee, her full, braless breasts were clearly visible, and the tiny panties that barely covered her rear clung to her hips.
“It’s been so long since I’ve done something like this. Even I feel nervous.”
She took a short, steadying breath as if truly tense, then quietly walked forward. As she approached the bed, her ample breasts swayed visibly with each step. Cloud couldn’t utter a single word the entire time she drew closer.
Finally, Quianas came to a stop right in front of Cloud, who was still sitting on the edge of the bed. Seeing his dazed, spellbound expression, she gave a satisfied smile.
“You’re staring so intently at my breasts that I can practically feel your gaze burning. It seems my figure pleases you greatly.”
With those words, she proudly shook her voluptuous chest right before his eyes.
Jiggle. Jiggle.
Yet despite her bold advances, Cloud remained seated with his hands in his lap. She grew impatient.
“How long do you plan to simply watch? Are you deliberately trying to torment me?”
“That’s not it!”
Cloud suddenly shouted and slapped himself across the face. With a jolt of clarity, he looked up at her and said, “I cannot share a bed with Your Majesty. I did not come here to get married.”
“Then why did you come? To obtain my approval for your marriage to Elena?”
“That’s part of it. I also have a personal favor to ask.”
“A favor?”
“Lumber! Please give me lumber!”
“Lumber?”
Quianas raised an eyebrow, clearly caught off guard by the unexpected request. After hearing the full story from Cloud, she sat down beside him on the bed and smiled brightly.
“If it’s lumber you need, I can provide as much as you want.”
Her previously polite and refined tone suddenly shifted to something more solemn.
“Since we’ve come this far, I’ll be honest with you as well. From the very beginning, I had no intention of becoming your wife. That hasn’t changed even now.”
“Mm, I understand. Given the circumstances, it’s all rather sudden for both of us.”
“Sudden, yes. But more than that, I simply didn’t want to hand over my kingdom to a complete stranger. After losing my king, I resolved to live the rest of my life alone and poured everything I had into this nation. I considered the kingdom my second marriage. I spent a hundred and fifty years nurturing and reviving it with all my heart. To simply hand it over to some unknown outsider? Absolutely not.”
She let out a dry, incredulous laugh. Cloud, noticing how little she was wearing, asked, “There’s something I’m curious about. Did you really intend to sleep with me? You were being so aggressive about it.”
“It was all an act,” she answered simply. “A little scheme to make Elena suffer for daring to take Gesaengquiya without permission.”
“So all those times you called me husband… it was all a lie?”
“What? Are you disappointed?”
She chuckled softly, then stood up and spun once in a slow circle, proudly displaying her body clad only in the provocative lingerie.
