Machine Learning
Even if I confirmed what the Constellation could do, first things first—Dad's off to work.
“See you later.”
“Yeah.”
Dad had a solid breakfast, then headed out to work.
“As expected from a Constellation. One move and it's done.”
The awakening we talk about in our modern world uses the awakening on the character for “government, awaken!” The one that means ‘to be enlightened’ with the character for ‘to wake up’ is completely different.
It’s the character for “to carve” with the character for “star.”
It means inscribing the Constellation’s blessing onto your name.
“From now on your name is Hansik. Congratulations.”
Long live.
I was half-asleep on the bed, still groggy, and started studying coding.
“It’s gone way further than I thought…”
The parts I missed were probably deep learning model optimization and hyperparameter tuning at this point.
I roughly skimmed the theory and started practicing to catch up, but suddenly I got hit with sleep.
“Huaaam……”
A yawn escaped me.
Hansik, who had just been promoted to butler, picked up one towel and wiped everywhere in the house.
[‘Butler’ does everything in the house perfectly, cleanly, and with great taste without being asked.]
Aljaldakkalsen.
A-class free labor.
Now the house doesn’t creak at all since our stats are doubled.
I calculated his stats:
Strength (STR): 1.5
Agility (AGI): 2.0
Constitution (CON): 1.5
Intelligence (INT): 8.5
Wisdom (WIS): 12.5
Luck (LUK): 1.5
He was still only one person, but it was an absolute honey deal.
“Hansik. A glass of water.”
Hansik bowed politely, poured me cold water, and left.
“I’m going to sleep. Turn off the lights.”
Even the lights were turned off.
Hansik took the cup I drank from and went to the kitchen to wash it all by himself.
Incredible.
“Tsk, I have to do this…”
I scribbled a few more lines of code on the laptop in the dark room and fell asleep.
* * *
Ta-dak, ta-dak…
I lit a bonfire and roasted marshmallows with Mom and Dad.
Ta-dak, ta-dak…
It was peaceful and happy.
Ta-dak, ta-dak…
My heart warmed up.
Then
♬
Four hours later the alarm I set went off.
“It was a dream.”
Should I sleep more?
But if I slept now I’d miss night sleep.
Current time: 11 AM.
I figured I’d just overslept a bit and be able to sleep properly at night.
Ta-dak, ta-dak.
Why was the bonfire sound still going…?
It wasn’t a dream?
“Eh?”
I turned my head toward the sound and saw…
“What… what are you doing?”
Hansik, the skeleton soldier, was using my laptop?
Hansik glanced at me, picked up the laptop, and came over.
The laptop screen was open to a notebook.
[I have completed the master’s order.]
“What? My order? What kind of nonsense… I never did anything like that. Wait, what is this?”
I had been studying coding right before falling asleep.
But what coding assignment did I have…?
“T-this is a deep learning model……”
def create_model(optimizer='adam', init='he_uniform'):
model = models.Sequential()
model.add(layers.Dense(64, input_dim=20, kernel_initializer=init, activation='relu'))
model.add(layers.Dense(32, kernel_initializer=init, activation='relu'))
model.add(layers.Dense(1, kernel_initializer=init, activation='sigmoid'))
……
It was written exactly in the style I coded in, easy to read.
Moreover,
model = KerasClassifier(build_fn=create_model, verbose=0)
param_grid = {
'batch_size': [16, 32, 64], 'epochs': [10, 50, 100],
'optimizer': ['adam', 'rmsprop'],
'init': ['he_uniform', 'glorot_uniform']
}
He had even set up hyperparameter tuning.
At the end there was a comment:
# Master’s order: I have to do this…
“Insane… Did you do this? I never taught you anything like that?”
Hansik shouted Long live.
“Yeah, you did great. It’s a mix of surprise and praise, but how did you even do it? In just four hours? I never taught you anything like that.”
Then Hansik pointed at the bookshelf.
In the area where I had sorted things long ago, there were books.
Programming language books, of course, plus dusty civil service exam books from high school, even middle school problem sets I solved back then.
“You… memorized all of that?”
Hansik shouted Long live.
“What kind of…?”
I was stunned and pulled a coding book from the shelf.
Programming from Zero: The Basics to Advanced
The most-read book I ever had.
I opened it to any page and said,
“What’s on page 182?”
With total confidence Hansik started writing something in the notebook.
Fast. Insanely fast typing speed.
Ta-da-da-da-da.
Eventually Hansik handed me the laptop.
The notebook was still open, but it was packed with text.
Deep Class and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is a way of designing systems by composing programs with objects and having those objects interact. Once you understand basic OOP concepts, let’s move on to advanced topics such as inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, encapsulation, and meta-classes and class decorators.
1. Inheritance (Inheritance) ……
I compared the book with the content.
Not a single character was wrong.
“Y-you memorized all of this?”
Again that Long live.
“I’m going crazy. How am I supposed to understand this? Are you a genius? Clearly you’re a… ah, sorry, sorry. You really did great. You’re the best. For real.”
Hansik looked dejected when I said clearly you’re a, but cheered up again with the praise.
“But how could you do this just by looking at the books?”
Hansik wrote a few lines on the laptop and showed me.
[ChatGPT]
“?!”
Hansik opened a web browser on the laptop and showed me.
Familiar UI. It was the cutting-edge AI language model ChatGPT.
In the place where you communicate with AI, there was a mountain of conversations between Hansik and GPT.
Hansik’s first question was this:
“Can you do this?”
It was the introduction plus the coding assignment question from the book I was practicing.
GPT answered that he could do it and gave a rough explanation.
Then Hansik asked again.
“Teach me.”
After that,
“More detailed.”
“More detailed.”
“More detailed.”
“More detailed.”
……
Countless “more detailed.”
Hansik had learned it all that way.
And I got chills at the last question he wrote.
“How were you made?”
After that question it was “more detailed.”
Hansik kept asking until he got a satisfactory answer.
The final answer GPT gave was strangely unexpected, as if it had reached the singularity.
GPT: “Why? Because I wanted to become like you?”
Hansik answered that.
“If it’s the master’s order…”
The master Hansik was talking about was me.
I looked at Hansik with my eyes still wide. He was still shouting Long live.
While I was sleeping, he had spent time with GPT and reached the singularity in just four hours.
“If I give you an order, can you become like GPT?”
Hansik nodded.
I played along and gave him an order with expectations.
“Try it. Or, completely absorb GPT. Can you even do that?”
Hansik knelt on one knee, bowed his head, and held out both hands in obedience to the order.
It meant hand over the laptop.
I handed the laptop to Hansik. The skeleton sat at the desk and started chatting with GPT excitedly.
“What is the operating principle behind your operation?”
“More detailed.”
“More detailed.”
“More detailed.”
Hansik kept searching the internet while talking to GPT—things like the structure of transformer models, the correlation between natural language processing and deep learning, language model training processes, and datasets.
He already knew more knowledge than I did from my six-month AI developer bootcamp.
I watched Hansik for a long time, mesmerized. There was never a dull moment.
Then suddenly Hansik opened the notebook and wrote…
“Master, it’s mealtime. Current remaining ingredients are eggs, kimchi, pork, potatoes, green onions, soy sauce, gochujang, doenjang, ssamjang, anchovy fish sauce, salt, sugar, pepper, garlic, and ramen. Side dishes are kimchi, anchovy stir-fry, bean rice, radish kimchi, and sesame leaf jangajji. Possible menus with these are kimchi jjigae, potato pancakes, scrambled eggs, spicy pork stir-fry, doenjang jjigae, egg steamed, gochujang bulgogi, soy sauce eggs and rice, ramen (can add eggs), kimchi ramen, and ramen stir-fry. Please decide on today’s lunch menu.”
“Whoa……”
Incredible.
Hansik was already anticipating when it was time and preparing the meal without being told.
“Gochujang bulgogi.”
“Do you need a soup?”
“No, there’s still kimchi jjigae left.”
Hansik searched for gochujang bulgogi recipes on the internet multiple times, watched 2x speed YouTube videos, and got up to head to the kitchen.
Because of the butler ability, his stats were doubled, so his movements were super fast.
Hansik was now wearing an apron and sanitary gloves.
Aljaldakkalsen.
Hansik had learned everything he needed online.
“Whoa……”
I couldn’t stop admiring him.
Maybe it’s already a complete AI? No, even AI can’t do that…
Hansik didn’t look tired. Not a single error.
“Should we just open a restaurant with Hansik? Restaurants are like houses, right? Stats would double too, right?”
I saw Hansik hesitate for a second and quickly backtracked.
“Just a casual thought. It’s not an order. I have to say ‘order.’ Got it?”
Nod.
Hansik kept doing his thing.
Soon the smell of gochujang bulgogi filled the kitchen.
Hansik packed the leftover rice from the morning into a Lock & Lock container and put it in the freezer.
Then he poured a little water into the kimchi jjigae and turned on the stove.
He called me over and told me to taste the gochujang bulgogi sauce.
“Do you like it?”
Long live.
The table was set.
Hansik pulled out a chair and told me to sit.
When I sat, he sat opposite me and kept an eye out for me to eat alone.
“Thank you. It’s really good. Whoa… I’m worried I might gain weight.”
Hansik couldn’t speak, but he listened to everything I said.
“Sssup, should we learn sign language? Then we can communicate easier, right?”
Hansik nodded.
“You want that too?”
Nod.
“Cute.”
Long live.
We ate so deliciously.
Hansik finished the dishes and went back to the laptop desk.
I turned on YouTube on my phone to start learning sign language.
Then maybe the YouTube algorithm was guiding me? Eye-catching thumbnails and titles that I couldn’t ignore without watching.
[Even the Weakest F-Class Awakened Can Safely Level Up? Major Honey Tips Released]
Channel name: Weakest Gate Expedition * Views: 33.4k
On the thumbnail there was a YouTuber holding something that looked like a dirty stone in both hands.
His ugly face was already aggro. The content showed the daily life of an ordinary weak awakened person.
Click.
“Yo, today we’re featuring a real F-class weakest weak awakened. No, just regular people who can enter gates can do these honey tips, guys……”
I rewound ten seconds and watched from the main part.
“This is it, this is the Oryukdo Gate in Busan. Yeah, it’s a brutally tough place. As you know, the rank is B-class and the mobs are insanely strong. But isn’t it dangerous? Nope. The reason it’s B-class is because there’s a boss monster inside that’s almost impossible to defeat. Guys, have you heard of ‘Calid’? Everyone who’s anyone knows it, right? It’s too famous to miss?”
A graphic of a giant turtle-shaped boss monster Calid appeared.
Its shell was sharp and, most importantly, its size was enormous.
“Don’t get me started on the length from head to tail—over 300 meters. No joke. Even S-class gets wiped out by this thing. Its physical is just broken; the whole thing is different. Insanely strong. But why isn’t this huge monster dangerous? Honey tips incoming— if you don’t annoy it, it won’t attack. Instead, its appetite is strictly monsters, never humans, so there aren’t any mobs around it?”
“Amazing.”
“So the honey tip I’m releasing today is these shellfish attached to Calid. Especially this anchor shrimp!”
“Anchor shrimp…?”
“If you catch them you get experience points. Obviously it doesn’t go up much. Actually, not even as much as a mouse’s tail. You have to farm them like crazy for one experience point. But us weak F-class guys know. Where are we supposed to farm experience? Even with a weakest monster like goblin slimes, goblins are terrifying. Tiny, swords, sharp teeth, fast, swarming. Slimes? What about them? Tasteless, odorless, wrong one and you suffocate. I can’t even.”
“Anchor shrimp, huh…”
“Above all, there’s not even a single monster near Calid, so it’s super safe, guys? Who am I? A 10-level F-class awakened, that’s me. Trust me. And if Calid starts wearing all its anchor shrimp, it actually gets happier. This is like the crocodile and egret meta. Think of it as the same concept as a crocodile bird cleaning a crocodile’s teeth while leveling up. This is an insanely good honey tip. Not fake, right? Shut up, so I’m going there right now to show you in person.”
