After Visiting B-Class Hunter Han Sohee (2)
When Sohee pressed herself against me and said that, the words just slipped out of my mouth.
"Uh, I don't really mind."
And honestly, I didn't. If she hadn't made the offer, I probably would have said goodbye and wandered off to some nearby fast-food place anyway. But answering that fast made me sound like some desperate guy, didn't it?
I briefly considered walking it back—
"Th-then... would you like to grab a meal together?"
—but the look she gave me, eyes practically screaming please, please!, left me with no choice but to nod.
The place she led us to turned out to be a restaurant a few stops away from the apartment complex. And it was surprisingly nice. Good music, packed with people—the kind of spot that practically radiated youth. Young couples everywhere, laughing over their food and drinks.
Damn, it's crowded as hell.
As I took in the atmosphere, Sohee smiled and said,
"Someone I know recommended this place last time, so I thought we'd try it."
That was only half true. She'd heard it was good, snuck over on her own free time for a quick meal, decided it was solid, and brought me here. Of course, I had no idea about any of that. I just nodded, sat down, and ordered.
For the record, both Sohee and I were serious eaters—so we ordered most of what was on the menu. The owner was beaming. The part-timer looked like he wanted to cry.
With the food on the way, we settled into some small talk.
"Come to think of it, how has Seoyoung unnie been doing?"
"Ah—Seoyoung unnie said she'll be back in the country around the beginning of next month."
Had that much time already passed? The thought must have shown on my face, because Sohee gave a wry little smile.
"Just between us, I think she really hated France. She kept whining to the guild to bring her home early..."
"Ah."
France was infamous for a lot of reasons. Racism as a baseline, discrimination against the Awakened on top of that, and the treatment wasn't great either. There was a reason people called it the China of Europe—though ironically, China treated its people better these days.
If that was the reason, I could understand. I nodded.
The conversation kept going from there. Mostly her stories, really—the kind of fantasy-novel life that someone like me, stuck in a rigid routine, could only listen to with my mouth open.
"So then Warrior-ssi pulled out a dagger and stabbed the Drake right in the eye..."
"Wow."
We traded stories that sounded half like war tales and half like something out of a novel, until the food started arriving and our mouths got a little busier.
Hmm. A few of these aren't meals—they're drinking snacks.
There were enough bar-food items on the table that I had to ask, just in case.
"Sohee, are you planning to drink tonight?"
"Huh? W-well, if it's possible, I'd like to, but... wouldn't that be too much of an imposition?"
So she had wanted a drink. Just hadn't had the confidence to bring it up herself.
I shook my head like it was nothing.
"Imposition? I don't mind at all."
"Th-then..."
We were only going to have a light drink. That was the plan.
"Gulp, gulp, gulp! Khh..."
The taste of draft beer after so long hit harder than expected. Before I knew it, I was tearing through the food and drinks without a thought—and Sohee was right there with me.
No. Worse.
"Heheheh, Taejin-ssi, eaaaat plennnty..."
The alcohol had her piling more and more food onto my plate. That overflowing maternal instinct, every bit as generous as her chest, was almost moving.
Not that she was holding back herself. She was putting away a serious amount of food while she said it. Our table's bill climbed into the stratosphere as a minor side effect, but—
"I'll get the check~"
"Huh? No, I should—"
"You treated me to something delicious last time...! So this time, I'm treating you!!"
Fortunately, Sohee was one of the top earners among Hunters. After eating far more than what I'd bought her last time, I asked—voice thick with a mix of guilt and alcohol—
"S-so, wasn't this a bit much for you?"
That was the first thing out of my mouth as we stepped into the freezing night air, breath fogging. Sohee, tucking her wallet into her bag, grinned wide.
"The one doing the clinging is supposed to spend more!"
"Hey. If you put it like that... I sound like a total scumbag..."
"Hihi."
She laughed like she found that hilarious, then pressed herself against me. Close enough that her chest was almost—almost—touching.
—Tap.
She closed that last step, and then—
Squish~♥
—pushed those massive breasts right up against me, lips at my ear.
"In that caaase... I, um, want to rest a little before we gooo..."
She glanced aside as she said it. I followed her gaze—
Yeah. This whole night was a buildup to this, wasn't it?
—and there, glowing between the bright lights of the night street, was a whole parade of motel signs.
I'd freeloaded an entire meal off her. There was no way I could refuse.
Right. I was absolutely not going because of those hypnotic breasts. Absolutely not because of the fox-like smile on Sohee's face!!!
I repeated that to myself as I answered.
"Then I'll cover the room."
"Hihi, okaay~♥"
Damn it. I was pretty sure I'd just walked into a trap.
A glittering night street.
Behind the counter of a perfectly ordinary motel sat Kim Jinnam, a college re-taker with half-dead eyes.
"Ah, for fuck's sake. What kind of teamfight was that? Tch."
Tonight, like every night, he was working the late shift and "studying"—which meant gaming.
—Ding-a-ling.
The door chimed. He wiped the scowl off his face, set his expression, and cracked open the little window to glance outside.
What he saw was—
Holy shit.
—a woman with an unreal body, arm linked through a man's, walking in.
For a second, pure jealousy hit him. Then the professional in him took over. He gave the guy a room number and a key, quoted the price, took the money, and shut the window again.
Any longer and the envy would have crushed his chest.
Jealousy was jealousy, though.
Haa... if I get into a good school, maybe I can meet a woman like that too.
Desire was desire. And for a little while, at least, his motivation to study burned a bit brighter.
Key in hand, Sohee and I headed straight into the motel room.
—Creeeak...
We barely made it inside—the door hadn't even finished closing—when
"Mmph───♥"
Sohee grabbed my face and kissed me.
"Mmnh... Sohee?!"
I froze at how aggressive she was. Seconds ago she'd been calmly walking arm-in-arm with me, and the moment we stepped into a motel she flipped a switch. Of course I was caught off guard.
From Sohee's side, though, it was a different story.
Is it the alcohol? Or is it just being this close to Taejin-ssi after so long? My body's getting so hot...♥
Whether it was the rare drink or simply being near me, she was burning up past the point of holding back. Honestly, it was probably more the latter. A little alcohol wasn't enough to leave an Awakened with half-lidded eyes, mixing tongues in a deep, wet kiss.
Not that it mattered.
"Mmwah♥♥ Slurrrp♥ Mmph♥♥♥"
I couldn't keep up with her at first—but I got my head together fast and matched her, kissing her just as deeply. She seemed to like that. She melted further into my arms, tongues sliding together.
We stayed like that for a while, lost in it—until Sohee noticed my eyes had drifted downward. She giggled.
"Taejin-ssi, you want to touch my chest, don't you?"
"Huh? No—I mean, yes, but..."
I couldn't even lie about it. The second I admitted it—
—Grab.
"There!"
—she seized my wrist and shoved my hand straight under her clothes.

Squish~♥
The soft, yielding sensation that filled my palm pulled a smile onto my face before I could stop it.
