Hero Academy (4-7)
“Go Min-hyuk, first time here, right?”
“Huh? Oh, yeah.”
Go Choong-shin answered the guard walking beside him on reflex, but quickly turned forward with a bored expression.
Undeterred by his attitude, the colleague launched into chatter.
“Take care of me.”
“Yeah, you too.”
Go Choong-shin couldn't care less about this guy, but the colleague kept rambling on with self-introductions and the day's tasks.
'What a fucking pain in the ass.'
He'd never once seen his fellow guards as colleagues.
In normal society, he'd treat them like worthless trash.
If there were classes, guards were basically slaves to him.
That's how lowly he viewed the job.
No matter how friendly they got, he couldn't feel any camaraderie.
'Never thought I'd end up chatting with trash like this...'
Even as he inwardly sighed, his oblivious colleague—maybe because it was night and faces were hard to see—kept explaining nonstop.
Amid the trivial details, one line caught his ear perfectly.
“Be extra careful if you're patrolling the instructors' dorms.”
“Like what?”
“Don't wander around sightseeing or draw attention to yourselves.”
It made no sense.
You're guarding the place—don't look around, and stay invisible?
As he puzzled over it, his colleague gave him a knowing look and explained.
“Who do you think are the pickiest people in the Embassy, Go Min-hyuk?”
“...Instructors?”
The school's people boiled down to cadets and instructors.
Cadets, aspiring heroes, were rarely rude.
Instructors were active heroes, treated like royalty—guards were invisible to them.
But neither side bothered guards much without conflict.
His colleague chuckled at the answer.
“Instructors... yeah. But not just any instructors.”
“...?”
“The assistant instructors are the worst for us.”
A surge of rage boiled up at the words.
'Fucking bastard... I'll make that prick pay someday!'
Thoughts of Seong Su-ho flooded in.
The worst person he knew.
The worst assistant instructor.
As hatred burned inside, his colleague continued.
“The building we're heading to has regular instructors on the upper floors, assistants on the lower.”
Regulars even ranked among themselves—penthouse top, then descending.
Assistants got equal rooms, no hierarchy.
“That's why I'm warning you: be careful patrolling the assistants' side.”
“...? Why the hell during patrol...?”
“Patrols here are pointless anyway.”
Invading a regular instructor's dorm meant you were either a brainless monster or a clueless idiot.
Even among heroes, regulars were Embassy elite.
So why guard it? Simple.
“We're not really guarding... more like errand boys.”
“Ah...”
It clicked.
Even luxury living had needs—guards handled them.
“That's not hard. We love odd jobs. Dorm shifts are basically breaks. The real pain's something else...”
His colleague sighed deeply, muttering bitterly.
“The assistant instructors... they're total assholes.”
“Ha... ha...”
Go Choong-shin thought,
'Tell me about it... I know how fucking awful assistant instructors are.'
He ground his teeth, picturing Seong Su-ho again.
“They pick fights with patrolling guards, nitpick every time—total harassers.”
Not everyone, of course—just a few exaggerated cases.
But assistants had disproportionately more jerks, leading to theories.
“Probably stressed from regulars, take it out on us.”
“Ah...”
One realization hit Go Choong-shin.
'So the instructors he works with rip him a new one too?'
A small comfort.
Anyone chewing out Seong Su-ho was a joy to imagine.
'Who're his colleagues? Gotta find out later. And...'
A fun idea sparked.
'Ask Ji-ah to harass the prick.'
Yoon Ji-ah was Hoe-gwa, but her Church backing gave her more pull than Ki-gwa or Ma-gwa instructors.
Hoe-gwa was isolated, untouchable.
'How would he even know we're dating? If Ji-ah pushes hard, maybe get him fired!'
Plan set, resolve hardened.
'Call Ji-ah later. Tell her.'
For the first time on duty, Go Choong-shin smiled.
His colleague's explanations sounded like sweet music all the way.
Boiled down: don't overdo it, avoid weirdos, patrol lightly, run errands.
Effort here got you labeled suspicious.
But he had a task today.
'Still, for insurance, find Seong Su-ho's room.'
Know the location, fly in as a fly.
Arriving at the dorm, a veteran guard halted them for briefings.
“Duty spots changed suddenly—precautions for newbies.”
Rules:
Never leak internal happenings outside (not even among guards).
Report issues to entrance senior immediately.
That's it.
Yet delivered with grim weight.
“Memorize this: if you see movement or company inside, forget it forever—your eyes only.”
“...Yes.”
Go Choong-shin and others nodded solemnly.
'...More privacy protection than secrets.'
For regulars over assistants.
Leak a regular's private life? Disaster beyond catastrophe.
“Male instructors' dorm is Embassy's safest. Alert others if trouble. Now, to posts.”
“Yes.”
Go Choong-shin finally stepped inside.
The interior impressed even him.
'...Fuck, worlds apart from guards' dorm.'
Guards and assistants had similar skills.
The gap? Connections.
Guards just applied; assistants needed recommendations, vetted for cadet proximity.
'Fuck, wish I'd gone assistant... Nah, hiding identity kills that.'
He'd envied the spot once.
But exposure was bad for infiltration.
'Gotta take out Seong Su-ho quick. Lingering risks me.'
Vowing so, he began patrolling.
Yawning hugely, he wandered corridors endlessly.
'Soundproofing's top-notch. Fuck...'
Dwelling on disparities fueled envy when—
'Hm?'
Far off, people moved—first sighting.
Two figures dashed into a room right after ascending.
But...
'Fuck, bringing a woman here?'
Dark silhouettes: one man, one woman.
Entrance cleared them.
Recalling the pair:
'Woman was short—cadet? Nah, crazy. Embassy ain't that loose.'
Shaking head, back to patrol.
'Sigh... so jealous. Wanna fuck Ji-ah soon...'
Picturing Yoon Ji-ah, he strolled on.
“Chuuup... churuup...”
Cho Seo-hyun sat meekly, accepting my kiss.
After range "training" date, she suddenly insisted on seeing my dorm.
Instructors' dorm allowed outsiders with ID—no issue.
Inside immediately...
“Chuuup, chururup...”
I scooped her up, showering kisses.
But halted quick.
“W-wait...”
“Yeah?”
Blushing furiously, she pushed feebly.
“Shower first...”
“I'm good like this.”
“Ack! It's 'cause I don't like it!”
“Haha...”
I released the squirming girl, watching.
She fidgeted toward bathroom door, glancing back shyly.
Like a wary cat in new turf—unsure what or how.
I approached.
“What's up? Go shower.”
“I-it's... first time showering at someone else's place...”
“Aha.”
Hand on shoulder, grinning.
“Then together.”
“Wha!? Kyaa!”
Swept her up in both arms, into bathroom.
Morning-clean, dry beige tiles welcomed us.
Started peeling off her clothes slowly.
She flustered, stammering, but didn't resist fully.
“W-why so rushed... slower...”
“...”
Off with top—scanned her body.
Countless scars...
“D-don't stare like that...”
Her excited flush paled to pallor, trembling.
I buried face in her mangled nape, murmuring.
“Can't hold back.”
“...Huh? What?”
“Can't resist Instructor Cho Seo-hyun right here.”
“Hyaaak!”
Stripped her fast, then myself—stood bare.
Nude, she peeked down shyly at my thing.
“Huu...”
Averting eyes from it.
Under shower, turned water.
Torrents soaked hair, cascaded over bodies.
Steam billowed white, clouding vision.
Through haze, small dainty hands approached—gripped gently with both, voice quivering.
“This... went inside me?”
