How to Steal the Hero's Woman - 319: Yggdrasil (3-28)
“I don’t need points or items. What I need is someone I can boss around. Wanna be my errand boy again, like before?”
“...”
Han Yeoreum just stared at me blankly after hearing my words.
In truth, I didn’t need points or items at all.
‘I already know you regress, bitch. You think I’m gonna play along with your game?’
What good would a contract be where you hand over all your points and items for life? It’d all reset anyway when you regress.
Besides, even if this deal fell through, I’d still come out even.
How could she force them out of me if I didn’t wanna give ’em up?
After staring at me vacantly for a long while, Han Yeoreum summoned red veins bulging on her forehead and temples as she muttered to herself.
“Don’t make me laugh... You think I’d accept terms like that?”
“Then piss off.”
“Hey!”
As soon as I acted like I was gonna scrap the deal, she grabbed my shoulder in a panic and yelled.
“I’ll give you points for life! Items too—I’ll hand over everything later! That should be enough for you!”
“What am I supposed to do with the scraps you hoard? I don’t need ’em.”
“Fuck...”
That’s when I realized Han Yeoreum had grown a bit.
‘Damn... At this point, you’d think her pride would make her lunge at me to kill me or just give up entirely.’
[It seems like she's getting used to it after all these regressions.]
‘Breaking her pride must be hard to get used to.’
I chuckled inwardly and waited for her next words.
But the answer I wanted didn’t come easily from her mouth.
“I... I’ll only obey your orders during the day. Not at night.”
“No.”
“Fuck...”
“How about we set a time limit instead? A week?”
I explained simply.
If she behaved like before for a week, I’d hand over all the gems she currently had.
“I was happy thinking they were gems at first, but they turned out to be weird shit. They’re not much use to me anyway, but I hate giving you exactly what you want even more.”
“Haa... fuck...”
Han Yeoreum agonized over it, then started haggling.
“Four days.”
“Eight days.”
“Fuck! Five days!”
“Nine days.”
“Why does it keep going up!?”
“I have no intention of shortening it.”
“Haa... fine. A week, a week it is.”
“Ten days.”
“Fuck!!”
Her shout made Min Hayeon and Han Bom jump in surprise from far away, staring intently at us.
Once they confirmed nothing was wrong, they went back to preparing food.
“...”
“...”
Stalemate.
By now, she’d probably take even a week, but I had no plans to budge.
It was up to her whether to call it a deal or fold.
Beg me to shorten it to a week, or give in and accept ten days...
Time passed, and Han Yeoreum made her choice.
“Ten... days. Fine.”
“Oh... I was gonna switch it to a week if you asked once more.”
Of course, total bullshit.
“Fuck! You’re kidding!? Then make it a week!”
“Nope, not changing it. No plans to. Go home.”
“You fucking...”
I teased her like that, savoring the fun.
But in the end, this was just a verbal agreement.
Unless it had some cosmic law like Armonia mentioned, we needed precautions.
And that was solved easily.
I pulled a contract from my inventory and started filling it out.
Seeing me write it, Han Yeoreum asked in surprise.
“What’s that? Why do you have one of those?”
“Oh, this? One of the guys I killed last time gave it to me when he said he’d hand over items if I spared him.”
“...”
“Don’t worry. I killed him anyway.”
“Crazy...”
Unlike her usual barrage of insults, Han Yeoreum looked tense, trembling faintly.
She must’ve gotten scared of me now, even if she thought I couldn’t touch her.
I finished the contract simply and showed it to her.
The contents were roughly this.
From the moment this contract is established, Han Yeoreum shall obey Seong Su-ho's commands for 240 hours. (Compulsion will be enforced.)
Seong Su-ho shall deliver all of Han Yeoreum's desired recording devices after 240 hours.
If the contract is breached, the violator becomes a Red Summoner and forfeits all assets (points, items) to the other party.
I kept it simple, no fancy A/B clauses—just the essentials.
Han Yeoreum stared holes through it for a while, sighed, and glanced at me cautiously.
Wondering what her beef was now, I looked back, and she spoke carefully.
“Hey... how about handing over one item per day?”
“No.”
“Haa... fuck...”
She was desperate for even one scrap of my info.
That’s why she endured this humiliation.
She probably wanted them one by one daily rather than all at once on the last day.
But seeing I wouldn’t budge, she gave up.
“Fine, let’s do it... Keep your promise later.”
“Obviously. I don’t wanna end up a Red Summoner either. Not like you.”
“Fuck! Why would I be one!?”
“With that orange gem floating over your head? Bound to happen someday, rapist.”
“Fuck...”
At her response, a red line flowed from the contract, connecting us.
I sighed, looking at the red thread linking me to Han Yeoreum.
“Haa... Never thought the day would come when I’m tied by a red thread to some dude.”
“Fuck. That’s my line!”
And so, the contract between Han Yeoreum and me was sealed.
The moment it happened, I told her.
“Hey.”
“What?”
“Go make food.”
..
..
I immediately told Min Hayeon and Han Bom about it.
Their reactions were polar opposites.
“Oh... for real?”
“Hm...”
Min Hayeon laughed it off, but Han Bom looked worried.
Was she still concerned because he was her brother? But no, it wasn’t about Han Yeoreum.
“What if she doesn’t regress this time and tries to screw over mister?”
From Han Bom’s perspective, the situation wasn’t all lighthearted.
Min Hayeon and Han Bom, being outsiders to Han Yeoreum’s regressions, were doomed to carry that burden without knowing why.
Luckily, Min Hayeon started calming her.
“Bom, don’t worry too much about it.”
“But...”
“Think about it simply. Overreacting won’t help if there’s nothing we can do right now. Best to just enjoy it.”
Her words sounded carefree, but her inner thoughts were anything but.
“I’m not saying to slack off like ‘eh, whatever happens, happens.’ Overthinking stuff like this can actually push solutions further away.”
“Yeah...”
“Focus on what’s right in front of us now, and when we have downtime, talk it out and keep brainstorming fixes.”
Uncovering the cause was key, but so was staying relaxed.
Solutions sometimes hit in crunch time, sometimes when you least expect.
“Ponder it alone when you’re by yourself, and hash it out calmly when we’re together.”
“Yeah, that makes sense, sis.”
Convinced by Min Hayeon, Han Bom settled down, back to normal. Thankfully.
“Anyway...”
With things sorted, I spotted Han Yeoreum awkwardly lingering far off.
She’d finished eating and was cleaning up leftovers on my orders.
Looking at her, I said to Min Hayeon and Han Bom,
“...That vein on her forehead isn’t from my command.”
“Pfft!”
“Puhaha!”
***
Right after eating, Han Yeoreum started clearing the leftovers and dishes on Seong Su-ho’s command.
Of course, she wasn’t taking this lying down.
Her body moved against her will.
‘Fuck... fuck... fuck...’
And there were even more annoying presences than Seong Su-ho.
“Shut up! Say one more word and...”
She spat curses at the channel where no one else could hear.
That’s when it hit.
10,000 points donated. -Think of it as part-time pay lololol
Humiliation.
‘Fuck... I’ll kill them all.’
Han Yeoreum wanted to vent her rage with curses right then.
But the points.
It was just 10k, but every point mattered to her.
‘For now... level up with this at least.’
She dumped the trash nearby and returned.
What she saw was Seong Su-ho, Min Hayeon, and Han Bom chatting cozily.
‘I’m in this state, and they’re laughing like that?’
Not just Min Hayeon—Han Bom was smiling and talking with Seong Su-ho too.
But she couldn’t charge in and cause a scene right now.
‘Endure... fuck... just endure.’
Muttering inwardly, she pitched her tent in the corner of the safe zone.
Seeing her, the three finally started setting up for bed.
Seong Su-ho, Min Hayeon, and Han Bom began pitching their tents.
Han Yeoreum finished hers quickly amid that and quietly approached Han Bom.
“Hey, come here a sec.”
“Why?”
“Just come...”
Irritated by her annoyed reply, Han Yeoreum dragged her off with a snippy tone.
Once they’d put some distance, he got to the point.
“Why are you acting all flirty with that bastard?”
“...What’re you talking about?”
“Fuck... You haven’t known him long. Why are you so nice to him?”
Han Yeoreum still couldn’t understand.
Han Bom’s true feelings...
(I think... I liked him from the first moment I saw him.)
No matter how he sliced it, there was no reason for Han Bom to fall for Seong Su-ho at first sight.
‘There’s gotta be something. Maybe that bastard slipped her some weird drug.’
He pressed her relentlessly with questions.
But Han Bom’s answers were consistent.
“Haa... I told you before. I’m squeezing between mister and sis to give you a shot.”
“Fuck... don’t spout nonsense. So you’re saying the love at first sight was a lie too?”
“...How’d you know that?”
“Ah...”
Han Yeoreum accidentally let slip what he’d eavesdropped while paralyzed.
‘...Fuck, it resets on regression anyway. Might as well go all in.’
He decided and spoke.
“My mind was clear even under paralysis poison.”
“Oh god...”
“So answer properly. Why’d you say that? Why would you...”
That’s when images of Seong Su-ho and Han Bom fucking flooded his mind.
Her see-through thin t-shirt, hot pants fully exposing her legs.
Mid-scolding, his gaze shifted from her eyes to her body.
And that’s when it happened.
“...What’re you doing?”
“Huh!? N-nothing! Nothing at all!”
“...”
Han Bom glared uncomfortably at his stare and slowly backed away.
And with her actions came the chats.
As he tuned into one comment,
“You fucking bastards, why the hell would I do that shit!”
Han Yeoreum unleashed on the channel viewers.
Han Bom, finding his behavior weird, muttered and walked away.
“I’m going to bed now. Bye.”
“Kgh...”
Only then did he realize Han Bom had looked at him with disgust.
He panicked for a sec but concluded it was too dark in the forest to spot body changes clearly.
‘Nah... no way. She couldn’t have seen.’
Relieved, he followed Han Bom back to the safe zone.
The moment he entered, Seong Su-ho issued a command.
“Hey, stay quiet in your tent all night—no noise.”
