When Lei Jiang first arrives at Tiesi Village, his initial interactions with Zhao Ru lead him to see her as just another woman among many. Perhaps because she is connected to Zhao Qianrong, she seems slightly more independent compared to the other women who have no choice.
Thus, Lei Jiang becomes very close to Tang Siluo, hoping to gain control over the power of District 3 in Tiesi Village. He doesn’t take Zhao Ru seriously. In fact, in many instances, Lei Jiang’s attitude toward Zhao Ru is no different than his attitude toward any other woman.
He treats her like any ordinary woman he can use, always adopting a casual, indifferent demeanor.
However, over time, as he spends more time with her, Lei Jiang begins to realize that Zhao Ru can’t be treated like other women. He senses that she is not as simple as she appears on the surface.
A simple example: Lei Jiang is like a basin of water in front of Zhao Ru. Before he realizes it, he has already revealed much of his inner depths to her.
Zhao Ru, on the other hand, is like a well. Its mouth is small and clear at a glance, but as you approach, you discover that it is deep and mysterious, hiding secrets that you can’t quite grasp.
Zhao Ru doesn’t answer him directly but gives him a knowing smile, then opens the door and walks out.
She has confirmed once again that there is indeed a problem with her choice of side!
Meanwhile, due to the tight supply situation in Tiesi Village, which has lasted for more than just a few days, Tang Jianjun begins to organize some people to go to the county town in search of supplies. He asks the four captains of the districts to lead their teams according to their own schedules.

He assigns Zhan Lian an assistant to temporarily help with some of the management tasks for District Four, but going to the city for supplies is something Zhan Lian has to do.
Not out of respect for Tang Jianjun, but because of Luo Feifan, Zhan Lian is obligated to go.
The departure time is set for 6 p.m. that day, giving An Ran two days to prepare.
In reality, An Ran doesn’t really know what to prepare. When she arrives, she comes in a car with Yun Tao Hengheng and Little Mint, and all the supplies are stored in the car. She assumes she can just drive away with a car full of supplies when the time comes.
The issue, though, is that Zhan Lian has too many cars parked in Gaoping. More than a dozen cars are lined up, each filled with supplies. There isn’t much food, but there is a lot of clothing and daily necessities. Half of the supplies are for women, and the other half is for babies. An Ran has no idea whether Zhan Lian plans to throw away these supplies or how they will be dealt with.
To be honest, if they are discarded, it would be a real shame.
The diapers alone could fill the trunks of several cars. Babies eat and poop a lot, and because Doll often gets a rash, An Ran is very diligent about changing the diapers.
