The farther southwest one goes, the more people have turned into zombies. Xiang City still has a small number of survivors, but places like Fuzhou have likely been completely overrun, entire cities turned into wastelands without a single survivor.
In contrast, the farther north one goes, the more survivors there are. Some reliable sources claim that the northeast still has a significant survivor population, with entire cities remaining largely free of zombies. Of course, these are just rumors and may not be entirely accurate.
A survivor team has gradually established itself in Tiesi Village, growing in strength. The number of people continues to increase, partly due to an inexplicable radio broadcast encouraging more survivors to join them. What once is a small team of just a few dozen people has suddenly surged into the thousands.
However, the leader of this survivor group appears to have the situation under control. A highly intelligent soldier, he holds a respectable military rank before the world falls apart. In just three months, he has managed to restore various government functions within Tiesi Village.
Tonight, guards stationed at the barriers stand armed, while epidemic prevention personnel in white coats work nearby. This division of labor between security forces and medical staff reflects the evolving structure of Tiesi Village’s governance.
In Tiesi Village, soldiers and medical professionals are the most valuable personnel. Any survivor arriving at the village who can prove they were a soldier, doctor, or nurse before the apocalypse is immediately assigned work. Not only are they provided with three meals a day, but they also receive additional food rations.
