Chapter 121: The Shadowless Kick of Foshan
Chapter 121: The Shadowless Kick of Foshan
Anran and Liu Yuan have already decided that Ren Xian must die. Anran does not hesitate.
Before Ren Xian can react, she quickly closes the distance, grabs him, and pushes him back.
With a swift motion, she reaches behind her, draws her ex-husband's saber from her waist, and plunges it directly into Ren Xian’s temple.
It is a clean and efficient kill—just like dealing with a zombie.
No one has taught Anran how to do this; she has figured it out herself over time.
Ren Xian’s eyes widen in shock. He still holds the baton in his hand as he falls heavily to the floor at the threshold of the office, his head tilted, his unblinking eyes fixed on the lounge door.
Inside the lounge, Xiaomei, who has been lying on the bed, her frail form barely resembling a human, slowly sits up. Her body is covered in injuries, and her face is numb, her eyes empty and lifeless as they stare at Ren Xian’s.
Outside, near the square, Liu Yuan turns around and sees that Anran has already killed Ren Xian. Without hesitation, she charges toward Yun Tao. Now that Ren Xian is dead, and with her strength as strong as that of a fierce tiger, even if Yun Tao is powerful, she believes she can crush him by picking him up.
However, before Liu Yuan can reach Yun Tao, he turns, bracing one hand on Anran's car. He faces Liu Yuan and, with a swift move, executes a Foshan shadowless kick. He kicks Liu Yuan—who has no martial arts skills and relies only on brute strength—flying. She is thrown far into the green belt.
In the distance, the sound of a child crying pierces the air. Anran, holding the military knife, takes a couple of steps toward Liu Yuan, then pauses as she hears the cry. It sounds like it is her child. Her heart sinks with a bad premonition. But at this point, they have already been spotted by Yun Tao. If they don’t deal with him now, they will face endless consequences.
Anran jumps over the bushes and runs straight toward Yun Tao. He advances toward her, spins, and kicks the knife out of her hand. Then, he bends down, grabs Anran by the collar, and, with one arm around her thigh, lifts her into the air. Spinning her around, he slams her onto the marble floor.
The impact sends shockwaves through her body. She feels as though her internal organs have been dislocated. The sound of Doll crying grows louder, and Anran grits her teeth, spitting out a mouthful of blood mixed with orange-colored fluid.
Looking up, she sees Yun Tao pinning Liu Yuan to the ground. He holds one of her arms with one hand and is strangling her with the other.
"Mom!!!"
A child’s voice rings out. Anran’s eyes snap toward the sound, and there, at the end of the green path, is Hengheng, running with a crying baby in his arms. Doll's little head bobs weakly, tossed around in Hengheng’s arms, looking pitiful. The two children are about to enter the square.
"No, Hengheng, get away!!!" Liu Yuan gasps, her voice hoarse as she struggles violently beneath Yun Tao. She pushes against his body, trying to break free, shouting, "Don’t hurt my son! Don’t hurt my son!"
Yun Tao remains unmoved. His grip on Liu Yuan’s neck is firm, but he exerts no real force. His leg presses heavily on her body as she hits him, desperate and frantic. His expression is blank, as though devoid of any emotion, though something flickers in his eyes—a slow, unfathomable flow.
