Since Our Son Likes It, I Like It Too?
The emotions from yesterday and today that had been swirling in my head began to scatter little by little.
I quickly shoved my phone far away and shook off the thoughts.
"Haa…"
A sigh escaped on its own.
Even so, the scent of my "little sister" kept tickling my nose.
Creaaak—
The bathroom door opened.
She stepped out with her naked body barely covered by a single towel. Actually, the towel couldn't cover everything, so pale skin kept peeking out from the sides with every step, making it hard to look away.
"……What are you staring at."
Her expression was still full of irritation.
I found that look amusing and cute, so I simply stared back in silence.
"…Hah!"
The towel dropped to the floor with a soft thud.
Her sensual figure was revealed beneath it.
As if showing off to me, she made no move to cover her completely bare body.
"…Tsk. Stop looking. You're going to wear it out."
Park Eun-yeong clicked her tongue and strode forward, her breasts naturally bouncing with each step.
She picked up the clothes she'd thrown off earlier and began putting them back on.
Still, I could tell right away that her earlobes had turned red—she was just pretending to be calm.
Swish— swish—
Her hands moved faster and faster, and my view disappeared in an instant.
Once she had even thrown on her outerwear, she spun around to face me.
"…Let's go. Now."
"…Already?"
"What do you mean already… Ugh, whatever. I'm leaving."
Park Eun-yeong's trembling eyes glanced sideways at the bed she'd messed up.
Then, without a hint of regret, she grabbed her bag and stomped out, her footsteps echoing loudly.
"Ah, wait for me!"
I hadn't expected her to just walk out like that.
So I quickly gathered my scattered clothes and put them on too.
After double-checking my belongings, I hurried after her.
"Haa, huff…"
Park Eun-yeong walked so fast that she'd already left the building by the time I caught up.
Out of guilt, I confessed at the counter that the bed was a bit dirty, but the part-timer just nodded with an understanding look.
"…Well then, take care."
After the greeting, I rushed outside.
I immediately looked for Park Eun-yeong.
Luckily, she was waiting quietly right outside the building.
"…You waited?"
"What, was I supposed to leave without you? Haa, I'm tired. Carry this."
She tossed her bag at me.
"……Heading home?"
"Yeah. I want to go. I'm exhausted."
Her voice was a little stiff, but I felt relieved that she hadn't gone off alone.
"Let's call a taxi."
"…Okay."
Calling a taxi in front of the DVD room felt strangely embarrassing—especially with Park Eun-yeong standing right beside me.
*
The ride home was quiet.
We were in the taxi, so we just leaned back with our mouths shut.
When I glanced sideways, Park Eun-yeong had her eyes closed, looking tired.
Her long eyelashes and slightly parted lips stood out.
Especially her lips—they looked moist.
They were the kind that made you think of cherries, glossy and tempting.
"…Gulp."
Saliva went down my throat on its own.
I unconsciously licked my upper lip and swallowed.
"We've arrived."
"…Ah! Yes."
While I'd been staring at Park Eun-yeong's face, the taxi had reached our destination.
"Here's the card."
"Yes, card received."
After the machine beeped briefly, I got the card back along with a long receipt.
"…Hey, Park Eun-yeong."
I called out to her, who still had her eyes closed, looking like she'd fallen asleep.
"Ah…! Uh, yeah."
When I tapped her shoulder a couple of times, she jolted awake with wide eyes.
"…We're here."
"Ah, th-thank you…"
"Haha. You must've been tired."
It was nothing special, but maybe because of where we'd come from, the embarrassment hit harder than expected.
"Hey, hurry up and get out."
"…Yeah."
We'd returned home in just one day.
It was the same house as always, yet it somehow felt new.
"Haa, haaaam…"
Park Eun-yeong let out a yawn, and tears welled up in her bloodshot eyes.
"…What are you looking at."
Embarrassed, she covered her mouth with her hand.
Then she started walking ahead with heavy steps.
I quietly followed behind her.
"…Stay back a bit."
"Why?"
"Ah, seriously… You're making me self-conscious."
We were just standing in line for the elevator like normal.
The distance was close enough to fit two fists between us, but…
"…Why does it bother you?"
Park Eun-yeong suddenly whipped her head around.
Her long hair swung through the air.
"…Whatever. I can even hear your breathing and it's annoying…?"
She waved her hand like she was swatting a fly.
"Haa… Like this?"
"Ah, seriously—!"
When I deliberately breathed near her ear, she freaked out and jumped to the side.
This was clearly an overreaction.
"…I told you not to stick so close."
While Park Eun-yeong grumbled, the elevator arrived.
She quickly slipped inside and started mashing the buttons.
"Ah, hey, hey!"
I stuck my hand between the closing doors.
They paused for a moment before reopening.
"That was dangerous."
"…Sticking your hand in is more dangerous, you know?"
Her sharp reply made me chuckle.
I stepped right up to her.
"Ah, come on!"
She recoiled again.
"Haa… You're too much."
"…What's too much."
"Still, our relationship is usually—"
"Seriously—! If you open your mouth one more time, just shut up already…"
She kept glancing around the empty elevator.
Then she moved to the corner, facing the wall with her back to me.
"…What are you doing."
"……What does it matter what I do."
Her shoulders trembled slightly.
Her earlobes were red again.
Thud— thud—
I set the annoying bag down on the floor.
Then I pressed close to Park Eun-yeong.
"W-we're outside—! A-are you actually crazy!?"
She squirmed in panic.
But there was no escaping the corner she'd backed herself into.
I rubbed my lower body against her firm, round butt.
"Y-you—!!"
Her flustered expression and reaction made me even more aroused.
The thought that I might have some hidden sadistic streak crossed my mind.
Ding—
The unusually clear arrival chime sounded, and I quickly pulled away from her.
"I'm going ahead."
"…Hey! Hey—!"
Park Eun-yeong's delayed shout echoed in the elevator.
I walked lightly toward the apartment.
Ding— ding— ding— ding—
Seeing Park Eun-yeong running after me with an angry face made me smile again.
I realized I'd been smiling a lot more because of her.
Ding-dong— clunk—
But that only lasted a moment.
The front door opened.
A pair of shoes I'd never seen before sat in the entryway.
"Hey! Are you seriously asking to die!?"
Park Eun-yeong smacked my back and kept huffing angrily.
She clung to me from behind, trying to choke me.
Just then, hurried footsteps came from inside, and someone greeted us.
"Oh my, you're home?"
"…Ah, Mom… Why are you here…?"
Park Eun-yeong asked in a dazed voice.
"My daughter doesn't look happy to see her mom? And you two still get along well, huh?"
"Ah, no… How did you even get in…?"
"How? I just entered the password, obviously. Why is it still the same?"
With her arms crossed, she shook her head as if we were hopeless.
For a second, the random thought that blood doesn't lie crossed my mind as I looked at her large breasts.
"Come inside first. And what's with all this luggage? Did you two go somewhere?"
It had been a long time since I'd seen her.
Probably the first time since becoming an adult—six whole years.
"……Uh, yeah."
Park Eun-yeong, who had been trying to strangle me, immediately backed off.
I felt a little disappointed as the soft breasts that had been pressed against my back moved away.
*
"…So now you're saying you'll live here together…?"
"Yeah."
"…This is our house, though?"
"The name on the deed is Mom's, isn't it?"
"Ah, no… That's not what I meant… But why all of a sudden…?"
It was a natural question.
And it was sudden enough.
"…Well, I just… wanted to see your faces more often from now on…"
"Ah…"
Mother lowered her head.
Park Eun-yeong also looked troubled and glanced at me.
"…I mean, I'd like it if Mom's here too…"
"…Really?"
"Yeah. But…"
Both of their gazes turned to me.
They both stared straight at my mouth.
"……Why are you both looking at me."
"Ah, we're not…? I wasn't looking…?"
"R-right. Who said we were looking…"
They both looked away again, pretending nothing had happened.
"…And why couldn't I reach either of you… My daughter wouldn't even answer her phone. Ah, and my son… suddenly said his phone was off… Didn't you see Mom's messages…?"
"Ah…… My battery died."
"Mine was on silent, so I didn't notice any calls."
"Ah, really? I thought… you two were avoiding me."
Mother smiled brightly.
They really were mother and daughter in every way.
"…By the way, what's with that hair dye, Mom."
"This? Hehe… Isn't it pretty? I did it for a change of mood."
"…It doesn't make you look any younger, you know?"
"W-who said it makes me look younger?!"
She let out a sharp yelp, as if I'd hit a nerve.
"Ah, you scared me. Why are you yelling all of a sudden."
"B-because my daughter said something weird… So, I, I just…"
Her hair was bleached white like a celebrity's, with a subtle yellow tint that was almost blinding.
"…Does it really look that bad?"
Mother looked at me with cautious eyes.
Her face was so youthful that she never looked her age to begin with.
The more I looked, the better it suited her, and I kept finding my eyes drawn to it.
"…Who said it looks bad? I'm just saying it doesn't match your age."
"You, you! Even celebrities my age all do this!"
"That's something only celebrities would do."
"…Daughter, you've changed. You've really changed."
"Ah, whatever. And the eyebrows are a bit much, don't you think?"
"…Then what am I supposed to do if not doing them looks weirder? Besides, I was told they suit me…?"
The table had somehow become noisy.
It had been a while since we'd had this kind of atmosphere.
I didn't hate it, but it still weighed on my mind, so it wasn't entirely comfortable either.
"…So, what do you think, son…? Should I dye it back to the original color?"
Her eyes sparkled as she asked me, her expression saying the answer was already decided.
How could they be so alike? Park Eun-yeong immediately came to mind.
"…It's nice. It suits you."
"Hee, hehe… Right? Since our son likes it, I like it too."
Her smile was a little silly.
Her eyes curved into crescents, and she genuinely looked happy.
"Has everyone eaten?"
"…Of course we did."
"Then how about some fruit? I bought some."
It had started like a family meeting, but somehow it fizzled out naturally.
Mother kept smiling brightly as she neatly peeled the fruit.

(Park Eun-yeong drawing an illustration while looking at her own photo)
This is the illustration I commissioned from Muming before starting the serialization of Night Work Slaughter.
However, since she was quite busy, the schedule got pushed back quite a bit. So I'd planned to start serialization after receiving the illustration, but as things often go, it didn't turn out as planned.
There was also the 4-5 month settlement event, so it ended up being the right choice for me in many ways.
Anyway, someday I'll commission an SD illustration version as well.
TMI) I've already placed orders for illustrations of the other characters.
