A Bloody End to the First Day
Ritka was caught in the spider web, and I did my best to suppress my dick, which wanted to get hard at every opportunity. Her looks were one thing, but Ritka was a heroine from an adult game. Every little move she made seemed designed not just to stir a man's lust, but to send it into overdrive.
Almighty Akarat. Fuck.
Right now, giving in to my urges and turning Ritka into a sex slave would be a waste of her background and unique personality. After survival mode in the game, it shifted to faction wars, where the winning faction gained lord-like power over a region. No need to leave any anxiety in our key card Ritka by raping her now, when we were already building a good relationship.
Steeling myself again, my head started to clear.
The affinity boost from my enhanced Incubus ability seems higher than expected.
Whether it was my looks harmonizing with my mastered Incubus powers, Ritka was already warming up to me nicely. No need to take risks. I didn't know how far the main storyline would go or how it'd play out, but since I'd entered this game world, if there was honey to suck, I had to suck it.
I wanted to turn the apocalypse world into a steady source of cash to cover my real-world shortages. With the country in anarchy, paper money was tricky due to serial numbers, but precious metals were different.
No need for weapons, but armor's a must. You can never have enough money.
Sweeping up precious metals nationwide would mean no money worries later. Brokers to fence illegal goods were a dime a dozen. With gates popping up everywhere, even the government turned a blind eye to such trades. If I claimed they came from a gate, no one could prove otherwise.
Hell, the government even runs its own brokers. As long as my gate-clearing record's solid, no issues.
As I sketched out my future plans in my head, someone started knocking on the front door.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"Looks like Takeru's here!"
Ritka jumped up from her meal and trotted to the door. It stung a bit that Takeru still occupied so much space in her heart, but we hadn't even known each other for a full day yet.
Hope all you want, Takeru. He's not in this world anymore.
I stood up too, grabbed the frying pan from the kitchen, and casually headed to the entrance.
"Takeru! Why are you so la— Kyaaak!"
"Grraaahhh...!!!"
At the door, just as expected, a zombie was chomping at Ritka, who was struggling desperately beneath it. Couldn't have her getting infected from messing around, so I rushed up and swung the frying pan vertically down on its head.
Splat!!!
Its skull split open with one hit, zombie blood and brains spilling out. I pulled out the burgundy edition Ritka pinned under the corpse. The red stains were kinda sexy.
"Hic! Sob! Sniff!"
Shaking hard from the shock, she clung to me tightly with trembling arms, breathing raggedly. Inappropriately, my dick tried to stand at attention again. Meanwhile, the ever-thoughtful Ritka held back her sobs, worried zombies might hear.
"No injuries? Go inside, wash up, and rest."
"Sob. Y-yeah. Hic!"
Zombie groans started echoing slowly from the end of the mansion hallway. Ritka snapped out of it and hurried to the bathroom, hiccuping nonstop. As expected of a tough heroine.
I dragged the body to a corner of the hall. Stirred by the noise, zombies appeared, eyes rolling at the sight of me, charging without hesitation.
"Graaak!"
"Groooaaak!!!"
Three in total? Can I handle 'em all with the frying pan?
The narrow hall made the flailing zombies easy pickings. Gripping the pan's handle tight, I waited—then Ritka came huffing back with a spear and handed it to me. This was why Ritka was the best companion in-game.
Chuckling, I snatched the spear and lunged forward.
"Graaak!!"
Zombies lunged at me. Mid-stride, I thrust the spear like a javelin straight through one skull, dropping it. As another closed in, I stomped its gut, twisted my waist to recover the spear, and stabbed the next one's forehead.
Thud!
Pulling the spear from the fallen one's head, I saw the gut-stomped zombie crawling, its spine snapped, twitching.
Stab!
Finishing it with a thrust to the back of the head, silence fell over the hall. Faint presences and heavy breaths from the hallway windows—people who'd been secretly watching the commotion, shocked at how easily I handled the zombies.
It's not easy. Not at all.
I was an Awakener with combat training, something they wouldn't know. Whatever ripples this caused didn't concern me. Turning back, Ritka stared with her mouth agape, eyes wide.
Makes me wanna get a blowjob. Fuck...
Shaking the blood off the spear, I headed home.
"Miss Kanzaki, let's go in. More might show up."
"Yeah! Hurry inside!"
I scanned the mansion hall one last time, then followed Ritka's quick steps back into the house. And so, the first day after the apocalypse faded away.
+++
Lying in bed hugging the blanket, Ritka replayed the day's events in her mind. She'd gone to see her worried father—who'd summoned her home from Tokyo University during break—and was heading back when she had her first home date with her boyfriend. She'd played it cool in messages, but the past few days, she'd squealed with friends late into the night, heart pounding.
Date day arrived. At the address Takeru gave her, she met his brother, Mr. Kazuma.
His height... it's huge...
Mr. Kazuma opening the door in a perfectly tailored suit contrasting his baby-smooth white skin, sharp eyes under neat hair, and red lips creating a decadent aura—she was momentarily overwhelmed. If not for her familiarity with imposing uncles from childhood, she'd have been embarrassed. His naturally likable vibe and calm voice had them chatting and laughing over news for ages, despite first meeting.
Snapping back, emergency broadcasts and the zombie outbreak. On the balcony following him, the bloody spectacle froze her—until his steady leadership, sharp eyes unwavering despite trembling hands, contrasting her messy family. A general guy stepping up like that made her heart skip; she broke into a cold sweat calming it.
I get why my friends like older guys.
Mr. Kazuma calmly outlined plans like he'd done this before. Searching the house per his instructions turned up survival gear, a cool-looking bow, and spear. He smiled, saying it was fortunate, but Ritka couldn't just laugh. Her kind boyfriend's secret hobby—hunting license he'd never mentioned, obtained while dating her. Even if new, shouldn't he have said something? Hunting mainly wild boars harming crops. Betrayal stung.
Pushing down the bitterness, checking supplies and eating lunch with him. Her carelessness let a zombie in; like a manga prince, Mr. Kazuma dispatched it in a blink and comforted her sobbing self. His hand stroking her trembling back felt so warm.
Ughhh!!!
Embarrassed, she kicked her feet. But recalling that and his lightning-fast zombie-slaying made her pull the blanket over her head. Standing tall like a movie hero.
Sniff. Sniff.
Mr. Kazuma's scent wafting from the blanket made her thighs tingle oddly.
Takeru's room reeked...
Night fell; he suggested his room over Takeru's stinky one. Takeru's room had a foul smell she'd never encountered—growing up sheltered, her stomach heaved unconsciously. Sensibly, he offered his cleaner room.
Unlike Takeru's stench, his room had a subtly chest-tickling, sweet fragrance lingering.
They say matching scents mean soulmates.
Ritka peeked out, glancing at the door. He'd sleep on the living room sofa "just in case." The stimulating scent and awareness of him beyond the door had her squirming her tingling thighs as she drifted off.
Sniff... Sniff...
