Nangkangi's Slap-Happy Debut
"...What the fuck is that?"
"Say hi. This is Nangkangi, my little girl."
"D-Daughter? My daughter...?"
I'd dragged Park Jisu here by nagging Instructor Park Jongcheol for some "private tutoring" as my assistant, then introduced her to Nangkangi. Seeing her immediately accept it as her daughter filled me with ridiculous pride. But Nangkangi's real mom was Daphne, the elf back in the fantasy world. Even though we hadn't returned there yet—and Park Jisu had no clue—Nangkangi clocked right away that she wasn't the mom. She reared up on her front legs and delivered an acrobatic potato punch.
"You fucking bitch? Where'd you learn manners like that...? Huh?!"
Thwack! The second Park Jisu took the punch, she swung back at Nangkangi's tiny body. True to form, her temper didn't hold back. Sure, she could sense my magic in it, but she treated Nangkangi more like a pet than an actual creature I'd spawned.
"Nang!!!"
Clearly not expecting a slap from someone mistaking herself for mom, Nangkangi let out a pathetic screech and tumbled off my palm. At least she'd spat out a strand of spider silk mid-beatdown, dangling pitifully from it.
Heh. Knew you'd get smacked.
After getting back from the Gate and analyzing Nangkangi alone at home, I'd learned she loved eating spider silk infused with my magic and even showed me some uncharacteristic affection. But this little shit was just as cheeky and sassy as me.
"Huh? Where'd the bitch go?"
Sensing something off as Park Jisu geared up for round two of "family education," Nangkangi chittered for a second, left a sticky strand behind, and melted into thin air.
One corner of my mouth twitched upward. I'd kept her in my Inventory since the egg hatched, experimenting with it during the Tower climb. Instinctively, she'd tapped into a space-type ability like mine to hide.
...Train her right, and she could pull off Bald Eagle's tricks too...
I'd been eyeing the principal's space powers anyway. Not as good as wielding it myself, but watching him use it showed the growth points were on par with—or better than—Sipdan-geum. Getting it for free without investing points? Hell yeah, I'd welcome it with open arms.
"Heh. Pretty badass, right? Turns out this one's got abilities like Bald Eagle."
Park Jisu's eyes went wide as she huffed and scanned my hand.
"For real?!"
"Yeah, but her range and scale are limited for now. Still, raise her good, and she might do spatial jumps like him...?"
"Ooh... my baby girl..."
Space ability users were welcome anywhere for their versatility. And the top use? Mobility, obviously. Even my Inventory was a prime example—no need to belabor it.
"Anyway, quit thinking about slapping her around, you hag. What if she hits puberty? Tsk."
"Fine... But don't kids grow up getting smacked?"
"True enough."
"Right? Hehe. Gotta give her the right amount."
Never properly raised herself, so her DIY parenting was questionable. But child-rearing was her domain. As a free-range type, long as Nangkangi turned out functional, I tuned out.

"This all your stuff?"
I pulled Park Jisu's bags from my Inventory as we stepped into the mansion—wide yard and all—and glanced back. Her mouth hung open, eyes roving over the place.
Considering our public fame, we'd moved into this upscale rich-folk hood today. I'd seen the paperwork thanks to the principal's hookups, but this was my first time here too. Outwardly cool, inwardly shocked.
Old man's Japan trip really fattened his wallet for sponsorships, huh?
His attitude made sense with the mana coiled in my dantian. But compared to our old digs, this place was insane—I shook my head.
"Whoa... Bald Eagle funded this?"
"Yup. Roughly your cash 1, mine 5, old man 4."
Her eyes sparkled as she whipped around to stare.
She thrilled 'cause my share beat his? Cute as hell, nodding like she'd scored a stud.
"Anyway, my stuff's in Inventory, so just unpack yours and we're done...?"
Timing it perfectly, I casually summoned Zombie Wife No. 1 from storage.
Dang Soso blinked blankly around, then locked eyes on me.
"Puppy, grab her shit."
I went to boss her into unpacking on instinct, but the trashed bathroom memory hit. Gentleman mode activated.
"Huh...?"
Park Jisu gawked, eyes bulging as her bags vanished, flicking between us before scowling and pointing.
"Kang Principal, what's with this bitch?"
"Uh... jiangshi? Something like that?"
"J-Jiangshi...?"
"Yeah. Think undead-ish."
She already knew about Inventory, and I'd flexed age-defying strength plenty. No point hiding forever.
Unless I ditch her, anyway.
Scratching my head, I dove into explaining my awakening, the Game Master ability, and its scope.

I'd been hopping worlds, collecting souvenirs—wuxia gear, fantasy loot—and spread it across the living room floor while explaining for ages.
Park Jisu started with a frown like I was bullshitting, but real proof plus my sheepish vibe melted her doubts. She started glaring instead.
"...So, yeah, that's why I'm so fucking OP...?"
"So you're saying you bounce between worlds, leveling up like a game character... right?"
My ramble felt like mush, but her perfect grasp had me nodding in awe.
"Exactly."
"Hmm... Mind taking me to some wuxia or fantasy spot?"
"Uh, dunno? See with her—Inventory only does non-living stuff... Oh! But Nangkangi might tag along...?"
"Why not?"
"She sucked up tons of my magic to hatch, and something tells me she could... Instinct, y'know?"
Sensing Nangkangi hovering invisibly over my head—visible only to us—I tilted my head and nodded.
"R-Really?"
Arms crossed, she pondered. Her sudden urge to raid other worlds screamed "field inspector," balls-shriveling scary. But as I'd said, crossing over with her meant hunting that ability and dumping points. I scratched my head, waiting.
"Kang Principal."
"Yeah."
"Be straight. You fucked her, right...?"
She jaw-nodded at blankly staring Dang Soso. No sense denying—I nodded boldly.
"Yup."
Thud!!!
"Ow!"
Despite spotting her kick from realm gap, I tanked it shin-first. The rebound from my reinforced bones had her hopping, clutching her foot.
People around me had zero learning curve. Sigh.
"You fucking prick! So goddamn upfront—means it's not just once or twice?!"
Trash-tier confession, but aside from the pout and glare, her eyes still burned with undimmed affection. My lip twitched.
"Heh. Oh. Dear."
"You—!"
Now mana-laced pokes. Sunbaes paved such a comfy path—barely fazed.
High-rank hunters were celeb-tier like idols or athletes, right? A quick net search showed hunter scandals galore—loose image made her chill. I sighed inwardly in relief.
That too, but main thing's the Incubus ability. Heh.
