Honestly, the timing for this story was way off in a lot of ways. Uploading it just days before a contest, featuring barbarians after their trend had died down, presenting it as medieval fantasy only to suddenly drop in modern scenes... Yeah, all my fault as an amateur author.
I have plenty of personal regrets, but having readers like you who enjoyed it made the fun parts of writing far outweigh the rest.
Some of you might know, others might not, but before this, I serialized an academy story called Surviving in a Spoiled-End Novel. The results were... well...
Anyway, that's why I approached this one—this novel—with a fierce determination to see it through to the end.
The total length might feel a bit short, but with around 4,500 characters per installment, that's like +30% more substance, right? At least I managed to include everything I wanted to write.
It's about a protagonist who gets isekai'd, curses out the god who sent him, and ends up getting healed by that very god instead. It's something I've wanted to write for a long time.
The title hints at an evil god, so some might've expected something darker and heavier, but I just can't get enough of lighthearted stories. I'm sorry if I didn't live up to everyone's expectations.
As mentioned in the finale, I plan to serialize a few short side stories as epilogues afterward. Nothing too long—just one-off pieces.
And then... time for a new story, I suppose. As a total newbie writer, I'm exploring all sorts of possibilities. I'm even thinking about trying a different platform, but nothing's set in stone yet.
Still, I won't keep you waiting as long as last time, whichever way it goes.
