With those words, the Silver Cross stepped forward, followed by dozens of knights. They clashed with the monsters in a chaotic melee, but I wasn't worried at all. In fact, I almost felt sorry for the monsters.

Enemies touched by the white particles melted away, and monsters were sliced in two by the plasma blades wrapped around the knights' arms.

Twelve aircraft carriers hovered in the sky. Planes launched from their decks soared high, flying toward the enemies while particles erupted from the carriers themselves. The battlefield was soon saturated with particles, and every enemy they touched began to vanish, the number of monsters plummeting in an instant.

“I don’t think we need you to step in, Guardian of All Things, do we?”

“…The protagonist is supposed to appear when things are dangerous, you know.”

They’re simpler than I thought, aren't they? As I watched the monsters being wiped out, I saw something massive approaching the battlefield from afar.

Along with a voice echoing in my ears, an angel with twelve pure white wings appeared. Just as I was staring at them, heart pounding at the simultaneous arrival of two mid-bosses, a message popped up.

“Huh? Sister…!?”

I was momentarily flustered by the sudden message. How could she contact me? …Ah, the necklace. Seeing it glowing, I was certain.

“Sister, I’m currently on the battlefield…”

The chill I felt. Was it the influence of the necklace? I had to answer carefully. If I got on her bad side, it would be purification… no, burning at the stake… anyway, it would be a disaster. The word struck my brain instantly.

As I was reeling from the message, a being appeared, tearing through dimensions. With intense sunlight, a woman in a nun’s habit approached me, wiping the tears from her eyes.

She raised one hand high, and the atmosphere shook as a gate formed in the air. Knights in full plate armor emerged from the gate. There were thousands of them.

“Brothers and sisters, who are you?”

“We are the children of the Sun! The chosen people of the Sun God!”

“Then, children of the Sun, what do you hold in your hands?”

“The sword of flame and the holy water of purification!”

White flames engulfed their bodies.

“We are the messengers of light, the heralds of fire! We stand on this land not as mere believers, but as incarnations of the Sun God! We must judge and purify the heretics who do not believe in the Sun God, and spread the glory of the Sun God to the whole world! Long live the Sun!”

With that, the believers of the Sun God Cult were deployed onto the battlefield. Thousands of beings who could turn anything to ash with a single touch of their white flames had arrived. What do you think happened to the monsters?

The Silver Cross and their knights, along with the Fleet Admiral of the Twelve Stars, had been sweeping the monsters away, but once thousands of 'Inquisitors' were deployed, the war ended in vain.

“Long live the Sun!”

“Yes.”

A single special ability received in place of four. Is this good…?

Unique abilities that make my jaw drop. Aren't these all cheats?

I thanked everyone, including the Silver Cross who helped me, and stepped outside the Tower. “Ugh, my aching body.” I threw myself onto the sofa and browsed the gallery on my phone, only to find the posts completely flooded with talk about me.

Maybe it’s because I’ve only ever received negative attention in my life, but I didn't know it would feel this good to have someone look at me favorably. This is all thanks to the Transcendents… my babies.
