Chapter Title: Who Did You Have Sex With?!
-------------------------------------
Cian opened her eyes.
How long had she been asleep?
She was so tired that her bones ached.
She turned her head and looked around.
Her clothes had already been changed, and the room was now neatly organized.
Next to her, Skar was lying down while looking at her.
"..."
The two looked at each other in silence while lying in the same bed.
Cian's lips twitched.
She had a lot she wanted to say, but as she was making eye contact with Skar, no thoughts came to her mind.
In fact, she was so embarrassed and ashamed that she wanted nothing more than to hide somewhere.
'Skar.'
The man who had taken her first time.
She hated him, yet he was lovely in her eyes.
Although she was flustered by her ambivalent feelings, Cian didn’t show it.
"Skar, were you satisfied?"
"Very."
"Then you can tell me honestly now, right? Why did you deceive our party?"
"Because I don't know the crown prince's intentions."
"..."
Cian was disappointed.
He had acted as if he knew, but did this man also not know His Highness the Crown Prince's true intentions?
Or he might be trying to deceive her again.
"Skar, then let's part ways here. I'd like you to leave our party."
Cian cut him off coldly.
She inwardly vowed that she would never face this man again, even if she had to live as a spinster for the rest of her life.
Skar shook his head.
"I can't do that."
"Why not?"
Skar raised his hand and swept back Cian's blond hair.
"What is a hero?"
"..."
Cian stared at the barbarian.
Skar's words were closer to a monologue than a question that demanded an answer.
"A hero only establishes their identity when they face a great evil. Has Lux Aeterna told you anything through a prophecy or a vision?"
"As far as I know, Lux Aeterna-nim doesn’t speak unless it’s a special case. She only gives strength and abilities to those who face adversity with composure."
Skar then slowly opened his mouth.
"...I've thought about it, and I've come to the conclusion that your coming here means that the evil sleeping in the abyss of the labyrinth is awakening. I don't know exactly what it is, but I think the high-ranking people of the city are hiding something important."
Cian agreed with Skar's thought.
'Definitely.'
She didn't know about anything else, but there was one thing that bothered her.
Labyrinth City was like a lawless land.
And yet, except for the knights who protected the inner city, its number of city guards was extremely small.
It was strange how order was being maintained to this extent despite that fact.
"So? Skar, what do you want to say?"
"Come with me. Even if there are painful and difficult things, it's much easier to face them while standing shoulder to shoulder with trustworthy people."
Cian glared at the barbarian. In the end, it was a story where he needed her power.
To think that he was just spouting whatever he wanted with his mouth right now.
How shameless.
"Skar, you want me to trust you? Didn't you deceive me already?"
"Not now."
"A-After you've already defiled me?"
"..."
Skar, as if he had nothing to say to that, just kissed her on the forehead.
Smooch.
Cian blushed and pushed the man’s lips away.
To think that he was trying to get over a difficult conversation like this…
How shameless.
"S-Stop! If His Highness the Crown Prince sent me all the way here, which is practically an enemy country, there must be an important reason. As you said, there's a possibility that a disaster that could reach the Empire beyond Labyrinth City will appear."
"Right?"
"It means that we could die. And yet, you're trying to be with me?"
"I don't want to die."
At Skar's answer, Cian was at a loss.
Of course.
"Yeah? Then our intentions don't match."
"Cian, if you're with trustworthy party members, you can overcome any crisis without dying."
"Sowing discord again?!"
"Cian, your party members stink. Let's just admit what we have to admit."
Cian agonized for a long time and then opened her mouth.
"No matter what, it seems difficult for me to just leave my party and follow you. I refuse."
Jeong Yoo-shin smacked his lips.
Tsk.
This wasn't easy.
"But I'll turn a blind eye to your acting. I don't want to ruin the party's atmosphere because of you. And I don't know the reason why His Highness the Crown Prince designated you to our party yet, so I'll also postpone your expulsion."
There was another reason too.
Cian had a slight suspicion that her party members might be hiding dark secrets.
Jeong Yoo-shin smiled inwardly. He would have to be satisfied with this for now.
"By the way, Hero-nim."
"What?"
"How was my acting?"
"...Honestly, it gave me the creeps."
She had never dreamed of it. If she hadn't accidentally seen Skar's gaze, she would have thought that someone else had disguised themselves as Skar.
"By any chance, is this the real you?"
At Cian's question, Skar gave a mysterious smile.
"Well…"
"..."
Cian's eyes narrowed.
The more she saw him, the more she found it difficult to know his heart.
It was the same for knowing other people's hearts, but it was especially so in this man's case.
"Anyway, I'll be in your care."
"If you do anything funny, you'll be expelled immediately. And either speak casually or formally, just pick one."
"Anything funny? By any chance, something like this?"
Skar's hand passed under the blanket and stealthily approached her chest.
The startled Cian hurriedly reached out and snatched the barbarian’s hand.
"T-This guy! What in the world are you doing in the middle of the day!? You shameless bastard!"
"Waaah. Give me milk."
Jeong Yoo-shin and Cian bickered on the bed for a while and only left the inn after lunch.
◇◇◇◆◇◇◇
Jeong Yoo-shin and Cian walked the snowy streets.
The latter glanced at the former.
"Skar, aren't you cold?"
Skar, who was only wearing a wolf skin pelt, pounded his chest.
"Skar is strong! This level of cold’s nothing!"
"..."
Seeing him change in an instant, Cian still found it difficult to adapt to.
"Hmm?"
When they entered the central plaza, they saw Luther and Gibson.
Luther was gaunt, as if he had been exercising vigorously all night.
And Gibson, who seemed to have soaked himself in alcohol and gambling, looked like a corpse.
Luther saw Jeong Yoo-shin and Cian and his eyes widened.
"Skar? Hero-nim? What’re you two doing in the central plaza?"
"We came to report the completion of the red orb destruction request and to receive the reward. By the way, Priest-nim, you look quite haggard. Are you alright?"
At Cian's question, Luther's face turned slightly red.
"I-It's because I couldn't sleep properly. I'm sorry for worrying you. I also came to report the request and to receive the reward. Because it seemed like no one had done it yet."
"Is that so? Gibson, what’re you here for?"
Gibson scratched his head.
"I came to receive the reward because I was short on money to buy arrows and equipment."
Everyone except Sebastian was gathered in the central area.
For a single purpose, it seemed.
To report the completion of the request and to receive the reward.
Cian tilted her head.
"By the way, where’s Sebastian?"
"He wasn't feeling well, so he's resting at the inn."
"I see."
At Luther's answer, Cian nodded her head.
It seemed that the mage’s condition was bad because of the negative imprint he had gotten last time.
'I'm worried.'
◇◇◇◆◇◇◇
Sebastian walked the streets of the central area with a hollow expression.
He hadn't been able to sleep properly for several days.
Because he had stayed up all night while contemplating whether to remove the Magic Halving imprint or not.
Thinking about it simply, it should be an easy matter.
If he got a good imprint, he would leave it.
He would remove it if it was a trash imprint.
A fool would stop thinking here. But he wasn’t one.
The imprint system of the labyrinth…
Was close to a gamble with stakes. And it wasn't just any gamble.
It was a once-in-a-lifetime gamble with one's life on the line.
No matter how trashy an imprint seemed, he had to have many cards.
What if the next imprint he got was a positive imprint that had a synergy with the Magic Halving imprint?
He would surely regret having the Magic Halving imprint removed.
Besides this, there were thousands of other possibilities.
As that old Spirit Teacher had said, it was only right to sort out his unnecessary imprints all at once when he was about to retire from exploring the labyrinth.
But there was one obstacle to this.
The fact that people weren’t as rational as they thought they were.
People were emotional beings. He was no exception.
Sebastian stopped walking and looked up at the sky. His body was tired, but his eyes were sparkling with intelligence.
He was overjoyed at the sight of the pure white snow falling and covering the city.
He liked clean things, and he hated smelly and filthy things very much. No matter how rationally he tried to think and deal with it, it was an unavoidable nature of his.
That stupid barbarian wouldn't know about such things.
"It's cold."
Sebastian grumbled and pulled up his thick robe.
Still, he felt good.
Because a pure white, untrodden snowy path was spread out before his eyes.
Like this…
He was sure that he would get the strength he needed to endure as long as he looked at the pure Cian, no matter what negative imprint he got.
Sebastian, who had been walking for a while, narrowed his eyes.
"Hmm?"
His party members were gathered in the central plaza. Even that eyesore of a barbarian.
The four were talking in a surprisingly comfortable atmosphere.
When the barbarian said something, Gibson opened his mouth wide and laughed.
'Trash gets along well.'
He made up his mind to go and say a few words and quickly approached them.
Crunch. Crunch.
Sebastian's steps, which had been walking on the snowy path, came to a sudden stop.
"Huh?"
Was he seeing things?
It was clear that his vision had become blurry for a moment because of the thick snowfall.
Sebastian's pupils narrowed even more.
What?
The red number that had appeared above the barbarian's head was 11.
'What about Cian...?'
He couldn't see.
Because the big barbarian was covering her from the side, he couldn't see Cian's head.
Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.
His heart began to pound rapidly.
At the same time, Sebastian's steps also quickened.
Above Luther's head.
The number that should have been 0 had changed to 1.
The priest of Lux Aeterna, who had always been extremely disgusted while saying that Labyrinth City was a corrupted place, had lost his virginity?
Gasp. Gasp. Gasp.
Suddenly, his head became dizzy, and his breathing became ragged.
What in the world was happening?
Gibson's number had also changed. From 298 to 299.
'Who cares about a trashy guy like him.'
The important thing was Cian.
A woman who was dignified, dependable, and beautiful.
Because she had the noble status of a hero, he had thought that she was a perfect match for him.
And wasn't she a pure woman who had kept her sex count at 0 up until now?
Although it was just his delusion, he had spent many nights with Cian.
Cian was already no different from his wife in his head.
He couldn't even imagine her dating another man.
But now…
That belief was beginning to shake.
Why?
Because his other party members' sex counts had increased.
'Please!'
Not Cian.
At that moment…
When Gibson muttered something to Cian, the latter’s arm reached out and patted the former’s chest.
He also saw Gibson smiling slyly and stepping back.
Wasn't that similar to a lover?
Sebastian's steps quickened.
His anxiety was amplified even more.
"Hmm? Isn't that Sebastian? What is it?!"
The barbarian recognized the mage and shouted while waving his hand.
The party members turned their heads and looked in his direction.
Cian also peeked her head out.
Sebastian, with his bloodshot eyes, was running quickly, and then he stopped in his tracks like a stone statue.
"Ah."
Above the head of the always strong and beautiful hero…
The number 1 was shining red.
Thud.
Sebastian's legs gave out, and he knelt on the snow.
"Kuuuuuuk!!!"
Thump!!! Thump!!! Thump!!! Thump!!!
His heart felt like it was going to explode.
He couldn't believe it.
It was something that shouldn't have happened.
He couldn't accept the fact that the pure beauty, who had always shined with mysterious eyes, had been pinned under a man, lost her virginity, and let out a moan.
The feeling of his chest and head being torn to shreds…
Sebastian couldn't bear it and grabbed his hair.
"Kuuuuuaaaaaaak!!!"
Sebastian's scream echoed throughout the central plaza.
His party members hurriedly approached him.
"Sebastian? What is it? Are you alright?"
Cian was asking about his condition with a worried expression.
But Sebastian's eyes were fixed on the hero’s head.
He hadn't seen wrong.
1.
She had sex.
With whom?
Luther was 1.
Gibson was 299.
The damn barbarian was also 11.
A situation where they had all had sex once.
As his head began to overheat, his vision began to fade.
Cian.
'Who in the world did you have sex with?!!'
Sebastian's cheeks trembled as he glared at the three men in front of him before losing consciousness.

Translator Announcement (2/16/26):
Sorry for being gone for so long guys. I got into a boating accident last month and was hospitalized. I only got discharged last week and just recently got myself a replacement for my phone. But I’m okay now, and I’ll continue translating this novel.
A few things I wanna say though:
-I’ll be adjusting my schedule for unlocking free chapters to every MWF, so 3 times a week. I’ll still post new chapters daily though, so feel free to read in advance and support me at the same time. I’ll also be lowering the price of the chapters to 60 compared to the previous website.
-For the people who were also reading the other novel I was translating, “I became the terminally ill character in my friend’s academy novel”, I’m sorry to say that I’ll be dropping it from now on. I was already thinking about dropping it last month before the accident, but now, I can only focus on translating one novel at the moment, so I’m axing the Academy novel. I feel like translating it is no longer worth the effort I put in, especially when it’s the more difficult to translate of the 2 novels I handle.
So yeah, I hope you guys can continue to support me even though I was gone for a while. Especially when I can only work on this novel for now as I’m easing myself into translation work again. Though I’ll be looking for a couple more novels to work on by next month, when I’m hopefully feeling a bit better, so feel free to give me your suggestions on discord. Something in the lines of this novel, and not too many chapters already translated if it had been dropped before. Ciao.
