The Peerless Divine Sword of the Academy
It was one of the worst novels I'd read recently.
No, the novel itself wasn't bad.
It was just a standard, mass-produced academy story.
The protagonist, Choi Si-woo, was chosen by the Divine Sword. He attends the Academy, overcomes countless crises, finally meets various heroines, and runs a harem by planting all the flags. It was that kind of academy story.
Like I said before, just a standard, mass-produced novel.
However, this author's titles are a bit weird.
The previous work was "The Legend of the Divine Sword of the Academy," which shares the same worldview as "The Peerless Divine Sword of the Academy."
Honestly, I wish they'd develop some sense for titles.
No, it's not that I can't stand it, but there was another reason I had a complaint with the author.
This is the biggest reason.
The early part of the work. Around the time the protagonist, Choi Si-woo, was just starting the introduction at the Academy and making his mark on the heroines, there was a disposable character.
Her name was Yoo Eun-ha.
She was expected to be something as the younger sister of Yoo Jin-seok, the previous Divine Sword user before Choi Si-woo, but unlike her brother, she was a female character who was a shut-in and lived quietly at the Academy.
Looking at her, shouldn't there be a development where someone gives her courage and she falls in love, saying things like, "You changed me"?
I don't know what the author was thinking, but the character Yoo Eun-ha, who was introduced as if she would be naturally connected to the plot, surprisingly dies not long after.
Well, a Villain who usually had many complaints about the Academy was committing a Gate Terror at the Academy, and they implanted a Monster Human's Core into Yoo Eun-ha's heart, which then went berserk.
Even so, I thought that even up to this point, Choi Si-woo would save Yoo Eun-ha and plant a flag. But that wasn't it.
Yoo Eun-ha died.
That's why I classified it as the worst novel.
It's just my own arbitrary decision.
Since the author writes novels as a hobby anyway, it wouldn't be a problem to delete one heroine, but anyway.
I was just in a bad mood.
And I argued with the author in the comments.
Very politely, with 5,700 characters.
[Why did you kill Yoo Eun-ha? Why did you kill Yoo Eun-ha? Why did you kill Yoo Eun-ha? Why did you kill Yoo Eun-ha? Why did you kill Yoo Eun-ha? Why did you kill Yoo Eun-ha? Why did you kill Yoo Eun-ha?--]
I spammed it with 5,700 characters.
But the author's actual response was quite firm.
[There are so many heroines, haha!]
It was just because there were too many heroines.
I was so angry that I spammed "You killed her." this time. The author didn't just sit there either.
[Dear reader. An author has power. An absolute power that no one can ignore.]

[Since you want Yoo Eun-ha to live so badly. I will bring her back to life.]
I thought, what kind of bullshit is this?
Because it had already ended that way.
In other words, I had watched until the very end, hoping for some trigger to revive Yoo Eun-ha, and I was furious. Surely they wouldn't be talking about doing a remake just because of me.
-You will have to become Yoo Eun-ha.
With that reply, my vision went dark.
