Who Gets Naranal's Blessing?
"So, who gets this? Whose item is it?"

Chest

Stamina +20
Mind +21
Minimum Level Required: 57

"W-Wow... I think this is the first purple item I've ever seen in my life, unnie!"

Thanks to Im Harin's over-the-top fussing, I snapped back to reality in a flash.
This wasn't the time to space out.
In situations like this, someone needed to call for a quick roll—or better yet, freeze things up.
"O-Oh! Yeah! Good idea! How about the people who can equip it talk it out first? We're all friends here! No blind dice rolls just 'cause it's purple!"
Gang Minseo chimed in too, and thankfully, the mood shifted fast.
"Like Minseo said, we should chat it out."
"B-But whose was it originally? From this rogue's view, it sure ain't mine... Tsk."
"It's cloth anyway, right? Not mine either. The armor difference is massive."
At least they're all streamers—no total idiots like back in the original timeline, acting like morons.
Back then, purple drops like this had clueless noobs jumping in to roll even if they couldn't equip it, just 'cause it looked shiny.
"Unnie, unnie. Hana unnie. Who was this for originally?"
"This? What do you think?"
"Well... it has intellect, so I could roll on it, right?"
Not wrong.
"From my view, it should go to the black mage here, me, or the paladin."
"Wh-What's the reason?"
"Aish, Sky! Can't you see it? Intellect! Intellect means it's ours!"
Ramjwi Thunder clocked it right away, streamer-style.
"To cut to the chase, it's mine."
"For real? But unnie, aren't paladins supposed to wear chain or plate, not cloth?"
"Paladins can eat anything like cockroaches. It's not about armor type—it's the bonuses that matter."
"Oh... like mind?"
"Nah, lower down: 'Damage and healing from all spells and effects increased by up to 20.' That's the one."
Anyway, that was the issue.
Naranal's drop rate was just 0.16%.
To see one, you'd need nearly 1,000 runs—and even then, no guarantees since it's RNG.
So I hadn't banked on it, hadn't even slotted it into my pre-raid best-in-slot setup.
"This is a healer item. Specifically, priests love it."
"Whoa... then you take it, unnie. Doesn't look like something that drops often."
If this weren't a streamer party—if I'd partied with total randos I'd never see again—I'd have rolled without a second thought.
Cloth, leather, whatever—as long as it had healer stats, a holy paladin like me could slap it on and put it to work.
But this party? Not one-and-done.
Why grind Lost of Fantasy hard? To snag OP gear, watch your character get jacked, right?
I wanted it as bad as Im Harin or Ramjwi Thunder did.
But I'd declared no prior loot claims before entering, then hogged every Dark Rune—and actually took them all.
"This needs discussion. Can't just equip 'cause I can."
"Ooh... unnie, that's kinda cool."
"Cool or not, I already vacuumed up all the Dark Runes. Flipping now like 'rare purple healer item? Mine!' would be scummy. Like saying your mom died."
"B-But unnie, you're an orphan... Ow!"
"It's a figure of speech, dummy!"
Im Harin giggled after the back-of-the-head smack.
"Right? Cloth with healing boosts."
"Then paladin takes it?"
Already took plenty of Dark Runes too.
"For real? Options look BiS tho?"
"Why?"
"Mind's on it."
Im Harin pointed at the item stats.
"I know this—mind affects mana regen, right?"
"Mana regen in and out of combat, yeah. But that's not the point. Not wrong, though—makes it healer gear."
"Unnie... sounds like you're saying it's not."
"Mind helps mana regen, sure. But regen kicks in 5 seconds after casting."
Im Harin's eyes sparkled as she nodded.
She loves this stuff.
"Priests and druids get 30% regen even mid-cast."
"Got it! Paladins lack that passive, right?"
"Yep. I get mana back on crit heals instead."
"Ah, so healers regen differently, like DPS classes!"
High schooler brain—sharp.
"Mind's nice for me, but not the main draw."
"So what's your jam, unnie?"
"'Mana regen every 5 sec'—ticks regardless of casting."
"Oh... but can't you just not heal for 5 sec?"
"Tank dies? And this phase... anyway. I'm a spam-small-heals type, so different."
"Priests then—"
"No no, enough! You're not even leveling a healer. Later."
Keep going and I'd spill every healer mechanic in Lost of Fantasy!
Not BiS for me.
Intellect and damage boost.
Black mage or mage, you two decide.
"Harin, I said that, but it's not BiS for you either."
"For real?"
"Yeah, unless you're still in starter rags, no need to force it."
Everyone wants good gear.
Obvious. But we don't steal food when hungry IRL.
Or drag randos to motels for fun.
Games too. Purple? Awesome. But drooling and blind-rolling? Bad rep.
Some say "it's a game, chill"—but in raid games, that tanks your future.
"Speaking of, let's check yours. What're you wearing?"
I leaned my chest against Im Harin's arm, peering at her screen.
"Th-This."
Her chest piece: bog-standard party trash with no frills.
"Lemme see... Ramjwi Thunder, you?"
"Ah, I want this bad..."
Ramjwi Thunder licked their lips—right on cue.
"Starter gear..."
Quest trash? Either way, green and unlucky.
"Then they should take it, right?"
"Obviously best upgrade from starter to purple. But you not bummed? You could both roll—no hate."
"Hmm... but not BiS?"
Im Harin shrugged.
"I'm rocking level 52 at least?"
"Yeah, black mages craft BiS anyway."
Mages too, roughly.
My chest is trash.
"O-Oh, what? This wholesome vibe—can I really?"
"Nah, too much. Hey, Ramjwi! Stealing with normies here?"
"No! Sky! What?!"
"Look, obvious... whispering now... Ugh! I'm a streamer, gimme. Caught ya."
"Hey! Didn't!"
After the quick banter, Ramjwi Thunder rolled without hesitation.
We others passed, so after 30+ minutes of deadlock, Naranal's Blessing went to them.
"Whoa, guys... insane!! Combat power up almost 30?!"
"Huh? 30? Thunder, what garbage were you wearing?!"
Told ya. Even level 50 starter should hit 51 CP.
"Whoa... what now. Feel bad..."
"Then help more, Ramjwi! Right? I got no dagger despite the promise."
"Should we? Paladin said principal's the last named, right?"
"Yep. End after that. Didn't snag school uniform either."
Im Harin elbow-jabbed my chest at the streamers' chat.
"Unnie, I get it. You planned this, right? Right?!"
"Planned what?"
"They're guilty now, pushing to run more naturally!"
Not wrong.
Normal folks with consciences reciprocate beyond gold after clean passes.
And streamers? Build goodwill, suck 'em dry later. One purple's cheap!
"Then! Shall we run more? Paladin and black mage cool?"
"Let's go! If Thunder dips after good loot, my stomach'll hurt all night."
Mood set—I'll steer.
Skip named like start, just good mobs.
"Ooh, like Diabolica runs!"
"What if another Naranal—paladin and black mage both gear up?"
"Good problem?"
In the wholesome vibe, we exited through the open door.
Tank enter in 30 sec.
The Principal Run, started at 8 PM, ran nonstop till Im Harin regretfully logged at 10.
That 0.16% Naranal was the finale—no equippable trash after.
Daydream filled in, we pushed to 2 AM—but no Naranal, not even a decent weapon.
"This rigged? Seven hours—no dagger!!! Argh!!!"
Sky raged; our Principal Run bombed hard.
I walked with 200+ Dark Runes.
Enough for crafting leftovers, for real.
