Sis, We're Gonna Be Rich!!!!!!
Sis! We're gonna be rich!!!!!! We're gonna be rich now!
...Well, that's how it started—with that kind of enthusiasm for grinding Moonlight Rockweed like mad—but there were some pretty boring parts.
Production might be different, but gathering expert materials? It just wasn't fun. Fishing had a decent minigame, but gathering was nothing more than walking up to a shiny node and left-clicking.
"But, Sis. I've got a question."
Click, click.
The high school girl who giggled at falling leaves—Im Ha-rin—opened her mouth.
"What's on your mind this time, Student Ha-rin?"
"Didn't you say something earlier about production items and potions?"
"Yeah?"
"All that stuff requires picking an Expert Profession to make, right?"
Im Ha-rin and I kept chatting, but we were clicking the mouse like factory workers on an assembly line.
It was pure, mindless repetition, but no one interrupted us, so we could keep at it until our bags were stuffed full of Moonlight Rockweed.
"I think I mentioned this before... but no one really tells you what's good for Expert Professions."
"So you want some recommendations?"
"Yeah! You know everything, Sis!"
Im Ha-rin said it with her eyes sparkling a bit too intensely.
"Anyone overhearing would think I'm the developer. Like I know everything."
"But you do! Look at what we're doing right now. There are over 200,000 viewers on Pajijik just watching this game!! And no one's coming here to mess with our gathering?"
"What kind of analogy is that?"
"Then how about this: PC bang number one! The game that dethroned Legend of League!"
She was quoting YouTube Shorts titles word for word.
"Whatever. If you're curious about Expert Professions, I'll explain. It's not complicated."
"Yay~ Yay~!"
"First off, Expert Professions aren't like our Black Mage or Holy Knight—you don't 'choose' them the same way. No need to reroll crying because you picked wrong."
In-game, they call combat jobs something else, but no need to get into that.
"Expert Professions unlock via NPCs in major cities... like Demon King Castle for us. Talk to them, unlock it, done."
"Huh? But didn't you say you have to choose?"
"Yeah. You can pick up to two Expert Buffs. The reason? In theory, players can level every Expert Profession."
"Wait, really? It's not limited to just two unlocks—you can open them all?"
Im Ha-rin fumbled around in her inventory and character windows, trying to find Expert Profession info in surprise.
"Won't show in the UI until you unlock 'em."
"Aha..."
"Anyway, pick an Expert Buff, and you get stat boosts or passives tied to that profession."
"Whoa? So it's super important?"
"Exactly. Even raid fags max them out. But you're still... wait, why?"
I was midway through explaining when Im Ha-rin suddenly burst out laughing, giggling uncontrollably.
"No, pfft... Sis, what did you just say?"
"That you don't need to think about maxing it?"
"No~ Before that! What was that about raids?"
"Raid ga—"
Im Ha-rin snickered again and jabbed my shoulder with her elbow.
"What's 'gay stuff' mean, Sis! OMG, you say the weirdest shit!"
"Ugh, fuck... yeah, that exists! It does!"
"Just gay stuff? No lez stuff—mmph! Blblblb!"
I couldn't take it anymore and shoved my left hand over her mouth, giving her an Indian burn.
This girl! Always like this when she catches something.
"Anyway! Even if you're just dungeon crawling now, think ahead—plan your Expert Professions."
"Hehehe... But Sis, Expert Professions have max levels too, right? You just said it's good to max them."
"Yup."
"So how do you max them?"
"Gathering ones level by gathering. Production by producing—XP piles up till max."
Im Ha-rin tilted her head.
"Wait, aren't we losing out big time then? We're gathering herbs right now?"
"Yup. Regretting the lost XP?"
"Yeah!!! Total waste! Can't we unlock and come back?"
"You're not maxing Herbalism anyway. Its Expert Buff gives Agility. You need Intellect?"
Depending on the Expert Buff, you get different stats or passives.
This design stemmed from the original devs' tragic desire for "life content and combat content to merge nicely." Same as their dream of "PVP players doing PVE and vice versa naturally."
Modern games? All abandoned.
Two totally opposite content types—forcing fusion? Devs try, users honey-pot and dip. Repeat.
"What... Agility's for rogues, right?"
"Theoretically, higher Agi means better dodge chance."
"Even a tiny boost—how long you gonna last? Pass."
Classic Im Ha-rin—knows her main stat.
"So what should I pick?"
"Wanna stack Intellect? Go Enchanter. Gives Int as main stat."
"Ooh..."
"Wanna DPS hard in dungeons? Alchemist. Passive boosts stats more from your own elixirs."
"What's an elixir? Different from potions?"
She didn't know this either.
"30-min stat buff."
"Whoa, what? So it amps the buff? Total cheat!"
Later on, folks who ignored professions just grabbed the tastiest stat buff + Alchemist.
"Hehehe, so after this, Sis—we do Alchemist and Enchanter? Activate those buffs?"
"Nah, no rush. Max 'em first if you wanna."
Unless you're planning from day one like me, it's a time sink.
"But what're you doing, Sis?"
"Me?"
"Yeah, copying you would at least hit average."
"Miner and Jeweler."
I skipped telling her they made bank.
Original production professions? Headache-inducing trash once explained.
"Whoa, how much is this... one, ten, hundred, thousand...! Sis! We made almost 10k gold?!"
Nearly half a day.
Gathering till 10 PM chime, we sold for nearly 8k gold.
Slight waste taking the carriage to Demon King Castle when bags filled—regrettable.
"Huge haul. Normally not this profitable."
Anyway, we raked it in today.
Thanks to Playpeople's fake honey pot, sucking it sweet like this...
But we sucked too hard—prices dipped when we auctioned the last batch.
"Whoaaa... With this, don't we have almost all the gold on Murumuru server?"
"Nah. Mount skills alone cost 1k gold—total server gold's maybe 20k?"
"Eh, 1k? White Horse was just 1 gold?"
"Max level? Max mount's 1k."
"Whoa!!! Insanely expensive! Lmao so pricey! Pricey! Pricey! Pricey!"
Im Ha-rin screamed it right—1k gold was pricey.
No need for rice-eater math like "10k gold = 10k won"...
Original era? Saving 1k gold bent your back.
That's why max-level folks rode White Horses across vast fields—not by choice.
"Sis, Sis. Know this?"
Waiting for the elevator, Im Ha-rin pulled out her smartphone and showed me.
"What the hell is this garbage-named Discord channel..."
"Eh, you don't know it, Sis? Thought a game expert like you would know Chicken Run Mania and this."
"Name's trash."
Absurdly bad name, but I got the vibe.
Discord channel, not a site—Jeong Hana's world and mine felt worlds apart.
"RMT channel, right?"
"Gasp... yeah. You trash the name but clock it instantly?"
"Obviously. Not my first rodeo."
No Lost of Fantasy in Jeong Hana's world, but rice-eating existed.
Just not called that.
"So, why?"
"Heehee... Sis, today~~ we basically made 10k each, right?"
"8k."
"Anyway! We're gold rich now? Right? Right?"
Ding—elevator arrived, and Im Ha-rin clung to my arm going in.
"Hey, what's with the clingy? What do you want? Why press your boobs?"
"Sis Hana. Can you... trade some here?"
"Oh?"
"B-but look! It's so expensive!"
"10 gold for 10k won?"
"Yes! Sis! We're loaded! 1k gold = 1 million won! A million!"
"Early game, users leaking gold everywhere—prices are insane."
"Right? So Sis! Sell half for me!"
"4k gold? On Dark Gamer?"
"Yes!"
"You do it. Too annoying for me."
Of course, I'd sell at home right away.
Peak prices now—sell!
Not all, just enough for days without worry.
"But... I'm a minor. Need adult verification for this channel."
"Sigh, so dump 4k on this sis to sell?"
"Yes!"
"Ha-rin."
I poked her chest with my finger.
"That's 4 million won. 4 million. What if I swallow it and ghost?"
"You're not that trashy, Sis."

Her eyes so pure, it shut me up awkwardly.
"Fine. I'll sell mine—give me the sold amount in-game tomorrow. But heads up? Won't sell for what you think."
One reason gold's pricey: early game.
Lots sinking in, little earning.
Buyers won't touch 1k+ chunks.
No raids open, no gold pots—big trades unlikely.
"Wait... might not sell at all. Could take forever. 1k's a million won."
"Psh, a million? People buy that easy."
"High schooler with zero financial sense? RMT ain't one-shot mil deals."
"You don't get it, Sis. Mobile gacha full clears hit 2 mil these days? Mil's cheap."
"No..."
"And Mushroom Story? Late-game items go for used car prices? Mil's a steal."
Thinking it over, Im Ha-rin's jab wasn't wrong.
